I have received flowers from this flower shop on multiple occasions in the past. The one I remember the most was a gorgeous Winter arrangement sent to me by my Aunt, who lived out of province and sent the order in. The arrangement was delightful, full of quality flowers, evergreens, and finishing details. It scented my entire home and lasted well past the 25th of December. The owner herself brought the arrangement to my door and wished me happy birthday. In my opinion, the florists at The Flower Shoppe go above, beyond and work their magic on every floral arrangements. I know they were incredibly busy (because my aunt was impressed with their service and told me she called last minute, explaining the situation and they did their utmost to provide the care, conveying the best wishes through this gift) but they gave it 100% of their attention. This was the last gift sent to me by my aunt. I remember it fondly and loved how The Flower Shoppe granted her instructions in what ultimately was a truly endearing and poignant birthday. Thank you The Flower Shoppe. What you provided was more than flowers. Whenever I walk past your shop, Whenever I visit your flower cooler, I remember your contribution to an event and how you imprinted it onto my memories of my aunt. I imagine if she had had the opportunity and was not taken from us, she would have come in herself and thanked the team and owner personally... (then spend an hour browsing LOL) This business cares... about all of their customers, The ones who place the orders and the ones who receive the flowers with love. They put in the red roses. They brought in the sparkle and the glitter to convey my aunts personality. And they made it look like Christmas because I was not able to spend it with my Aunt. With one arrangement, They put in all the love, glamor, joy that was my Aunt --- wishing Happy Birthday and bringing Seasons Greetings. This place offers wonderful arrangements, and great variety in making up your own bouquet. They have a good variety of giftware and now have a fine selection of quality family books. Then you add the coffee bar and the friendly staff...if you need flowers or a great latte....this is the place in Barrhead. Locally owned...and not a chain! read more

I ordered flowers for my Grandmother's funeral, I belaboured over the right arrangement that my grandmother would have liked. I chose a white arrangement with roses, lillies and greenery in a white container. I upsized the arrangement for the extra $10. to make sure it was extra special. The flower shoppe called me the morning of the funeral to tell me it was a lovely arrangement however they did not have white lillies in stock, could they substitute more white roses and white freesia, I agreed. When I got to the church there was a modge podge of white flowers in a creamy vase, there were daisies and mums in the arrangement, the 2 flowers my grandmother specifically disliked! Daisey and mums were not in the original arrangement I had chosen or the flowers they told me they would be substituting, daisey are a cheap flower they grow wild everywhere and have no place in a $100 arrangement. The whole arrangement looked wilted and tired, like it was several days old. My mom who has been a flower decorator looked at it closely the next day and found several flowers had not been inserted into the foam and were alreay dead. I called the shop this morning to speak to the manager she has not bothered to call me back. I would not recommend this Shoppe, you're better off buying a bouquet at the grocery store and putting it in a vase from the dollar store at least then you know what you are getting. Overall a terrible experience. not the tribute I wanted to leave for my dear grandmother. read more
