When we're in a new town, it's often hard to pick out a place, unless we've researched a travel source ahead of time. In this case, we were on our own and looking for something easy, casual, relatively fast, and sit down. A comfort break is also important. So by mostly chance we picked the Kabab house. For what this place is (order at counter, relatively cheap middle east fare, and a beer), things were just fine. The food was tasty and plentiful, the background pop music was interesting, and family running the place were friendly enough. I decided to go for a turkey focaccia with feta cheese. The bread was really good, proper italian bread-thumbs up...the salad on the side was ok but they hadn't put any oil or vinegar on it (and didn't have any to put there either for that matter). The menu was surprisingly large serving everything from a variety of pasta dishes such as bolognese and lasagna, different focaccias, salads, crepes etc. I'm a firm believer that less is always more with quality over quantity. Though two people in our company (my father and his partner Margareta) who live here in Karlskrona said it's a really good place. I ordered the pasta of the day, linguini in cream sauce with prawns and gremolata. My daughter had the pasta bolognese and my son the lasagna. Maggan had the lasagna as well while my dad had a focaccia. To say that we were all happy with our food is no understatement whatsoever. The focaccia is both moist, well-seasoned and crispy. My daughter's bolognese was rich with flavor, she wouldn't stop eating until the plate was clean. My son loves lasagna, and he even proclaimed "this was almost better than the lasagna in Mallorca last summer!", and coming from him - that's high praise indeed. Had a taste of it and it really was good. Packed with flavor, crunchy corners, moist and right amount of resistance in the pasta. My own dish of prawns, cream, linguini, baby spinach and arugula also came with a crispy puff pastry. All in all it was truly tasty. I left happy and satisfied. Also the service was friendly, efficient and attentive. A really good spot for lunch in my yelp-book!

What could you say but being pleasantly surprised to find this super great Indian restaurant in the…read moresmall place called Ronneby. We had a late lunch, menu is large, prices are ok, service friendly and food is great!! So nothing to complain! Go there and get stuffed!!
