This is a pretty interactive place for kids, lots to do inside and outside. That being said the prices a pretty high but they are literally the only game in town. They do have same day pass options that brings the price down, we had one adult, a 4 y/o and a 9 y/o and paid $100 for a mid level pass. The food options are your typical hot dogs, pizza etc with a very, very chaotic system, we waited about 40 minutes whenever we had an order and as expected luke warm and lackluster. For a daytime activity for small children in the summer, I give this place an "A" for effort and a C for experience. In general, it's expensive. Granted, everything is, but unless your child knows what activities they want to do while they are at the Fun Spot, the visit can run you $$...$. I was visiting with my 8-year old nephew from out of town and because it was really hot outside, we thought the Fun Spot would be a nice air conditioned option. We tried the Ninja experience first. (He goes to Ninja camp weekly back home.) The obstacles on the Ninja course were geared more towards slightly older (and taller kids) and my nephew had a hard time even reaching some of the course elements. The staff let me swap the ticket for the indoor playground, which I sincerely appreciated. He also tried the mini go karts. With no other kids riding at the time, one of the staff members was kind enough to race him around for quite a long time. Feedback to management is maybe put up some better signage and train your staff to suggest activities for kids of different ages. My boyfriend and I spent a good amount of time here! We enjoyed mini golf. Each park was different and exciting with different obstacles. After mini golfing my boyfriend won an activity of his choice. He picked go karts! It was so much fun and you get to go around the course a generous amount of times. It should be called the unfun spot because of how the managment dealt with us. We came from a baseball game with the team and there was a basketball hoop outside and we thought lets play basketball. So there was an open garage door and we took the basketball on the table and the kids played basketball. Then after 20 minutes the manager came and took the ball rudely from us and he reviewed camera footage and yelled at us about the basketball. Then he continued to argue with customers until we just left this man when he was yelling. This unfun spot should not be ever played at again by this corrupt managment. read more

I came here with a friend on a Saturday (actually, we were aiming for the other Arrr-rated mini golf course next door but came here by mistake) and they were really busy. We played 18 holes which cost us total about $19, and that seemed reasonable. The holes were well maintained, and I liked how they had many with tubes and tunnels that added challenges. At times it was tough to see where the holes were as they didn't use flags, but I like that we didn't have to pull and hold onto a flag 18 times per game. They have maps at the putting spots showing the course, so they should add white dots to signify where the holes are. Some holes went uphill and others downhill, and there were scenic elements scattered about like caves and rope bridges to walk through, windmills, and mine carts. The water hazards were under-played but the one on hole 18 is a lot of fun! All in all, I liked it a lot. read more

Nice place to kill a few hours with the kids. Buying activities piecemeal will kill your wallet, but there are some pretty affordable combo tickets that make a visit worthwhile. Mini-golf was well maintained, go-karts were fast enough to be fun, but slow enough to be safe for kids. Arcade area was small, but I'd rather the kids be DOING things anyway! Having a legitimate old-school roller rink was a cool touch, even though we did not participate. Judging from the amount of people skating, a lot of others found it cool as well. What earns this place the 5-star rating is the service. One of my sons was a little nervous about playing Laser Tag, so a young man volunteered to walk him back and into the "arena" in between matches so he could see what it looked like and how the vest/laser worked. The young man put him completely at ease and he ended up having a blast, no pun intended. So if you're looking for a few hours to kill with your family in the Queensbury area, this is an excellent choice, and much preferred to the other similar establishment right down Route 9. read more

My 8 y/o daughter got to try driving a mini-go-cart here, and the fact that the place had this is the reason we chose Fun Spot over a place that looked better but only had adult go-carts. My daughter had a nice experience, though she was already bored of it after her first try, going around in one little circle for about 5 min. So she went on my go-cart as a passenger, which was pretty decent. We tried a laser-gun target game, but most of the guns had broken token-slots, so even though there were 5 guns, only 2 of them could be activated. This modest amusement center just down the road from Six Flags ended up being the surprise hit of our family vacation to Lake George. They have a nice mix of activities (Go-Karts, Mini Golf, Roller Skating Rink, kids play center, "Ninja Challenge", and arcade games). Our son went here every day of our trip and really enjoyed it. Activities are available individually or as a part of combo tickets. Look for discount 20% off coupons is local guides or online. On our last day we were warned a large group was coming later in the day and they meant it: 6 bus loads of kids packed the place. Fortunately we were finishing up as they arrived. It was near our hotel so it was great to stop by and do a few activities or spend the morning because of the rain. The prices aren't too bad and you can look for deals. The place is clean and well-runned. The kids really enjoyed the time here. Go-carting and rollerskating were popular. I have to give props to the attendants of the kiddie go-carting ride. One in our member got scared and wanted to get off but the attendant said he would ride with him. So he got in the other kiddie cart and rode next to him. ( It was only one rider.) Another attendant did the same thing the next time he rode. In all he went three times and an attendant went with him all three times. He had a blast and I was very appreciative of them going above and beyond what they had to do. So I highly recommend this place. read more

My kids love the indoor playground here and I love how easy it is to make an afternoon of it. When we visit my parents in Queensbury, I always need to find ways for my kids to get out their insane energy. I found The Fun Spot and now we go here every trip. Last time my 5 year old tried roller skating and that was cute but she says she will try again when she's 7. We also love the go carts when it's nice out. They can play for hours on the playground and then have pizza and ice cream and go back to playing. It's a great time and not too crowded. I went here on a last minute run with my 17-year-old. We got inside and saw an amazing place for any kids from ages 8 to 17. If you find yourself in Lake George on a rainy day or, need air condition this is a great place to find some fun. We came here with one thing in mind, go carts. My son and I went around the small track designed perfectly to make an exciting trip around the course. There is a big game room inside, a floor for rollerblading or rollerskating, and ninja course. Do not go here. They do not prioritize safety and customer service. I was driving the go-kart with my 7-year old daughter and was told to stop for an accident ahead, only to be slammed from behind by an apparently incompetent driver. My head was violently thrown back against the seat. Also, toward the end of the ride, one of the staff nearly got taken out by another driver. I blame the fact that there was never any kind of tutorial on how to operate the vehicle, as well as basic rules of the course. I complained to the manager about this and he was extremely rude and confrontational. read more

The place is really fun, but the staff at the go karts are horrible and rude. They do not prioritize safety at all and have no instructions for the littler kids on how to operate and stop the go kart. I was stopped in the front waiting to get off and a littler kid slammed in the back of be basically at full speed. The staff clearly didn't care at all and did nothing about it and didn't say a word to me after the fact when I was almost in tears from getting whiplash and my head thrown back into the seat. I'd highly recommend this place replace the staff with people who actually know what they are doing and who are much kinder towards their customers. Great go-karts! I had my doubts about this place, but I was impressed. We all had a lot of fun on their go-karts. The track is short, but it makes for some sharp turns. It didn't feel as if they were remotely throttled down like in other places. My kids loved the roller skating/blading as well. We didn't do the mini golf, because it was late for us and had to go. The fun spot figured out how to pack the most exciting activities in very little space. There aren't a great amount of activities like at the Great Escape but the ones that they do have are top-notch. I definitely recommend the laser tag (which they upgraded in 2014) and the go-carts. The roller skating is also fun and don't forget to request your favorite Katy Perry song. The go carting was great fun. Just be aware that it can get a little competitive so if you don't like to drive fast then be prepared to get bumped a lot as people try to pass you. Also, kids have to ride with an adult but the ride is so much fun that mine did not mind being co-pilot. There is also a kiddy go-cart but our kids did not find that too much fun. If you get the day-pass make sure that you do all the rides before 6PM because it is not valid after that. Another good thing about the fun-spot is that you only pay for the rides you want to do. So if you want to only spend a few hours then you can do it here (compared to other parks like the Great Escape where you have to spend all day). read more
