A decent enough cafe upstairs next to the Lander Gallery. I had breakfast
here back in late July eggs florentine which I have never ordered before and shall probably
never order again as it was far too rich given all the hollandaise sauce. That
aside, it was okay although possibly could have done with more seasoning.
I would have ordered the cafetiere of coffee not a cappucino
if I'd known about that before ordering. Some things were only mentioned on
cards at the till rather than on the menu which was a bit chaotic!
Still, a nice
place to sit while the rain poured outside. I shall probably go again to see
what I think on a second visit.
The Lander Gallery itself was showing an exhibition and beach and surfing pictures which was worth seeing if you like that sort of thing and there were some other crafts and so-on, some of it quite interesting.
Well worth a visit. read more
