My niece had her wedding here recently. It was beautiful and just what she wanted. She felt valued and cared for by the staff. As guests, it was a nice experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The setting was rustic and charming. The food was very good and served quickly via buffet table.

This venue is absolutely STUNNING and has so much to offer including use of their beautiful antique accents, gorgeous courtyard fire pits, fountains, and swings not to mention reception tables, chairs, catering (the food was wonderful!!), and bar service for the reception. This venue is a one stop shop to the wedding of your DREAMS and it sure was the wedding of ours. My husband and I have joked, now that our wedding day has come and gone, that we'd really love to attend a wedding at Bella Sera so we could really enjoy the courtyard! The venue owner, Robin, was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating (offers helpful design/decor suggestions/option, will adjust alcohol and food selections to WHATEVER you want etc). We can not thank Robin and the Bella Sera staff enough for making our wedding day magical!

It is absolutely amazing and beautiful. I don't think you will be disappointed. The place is full of beautiful scenes for pictures & all the staff are so attentive & wonderful. The bartenders were spectacular and seemed to remember our fave drinks. The food was outstanding and I've had a lot of mediocre wedding food in my day . I had some of the best gumbo I've ever eaten among other dishes. The " snack" we had before the dinner was almost mistaken by me for the actual dinner since it was so large and substantial. It was a full self serve taco bar with everything imaginable in it. The bar had anything you could want pretty much from beer & wine to fancy cocktails. There was plenty of seating , no fighting over seating as I felt the need at certain receptions. Tons of food as I even went back for my favorite. The cake was lovely and delicious and the grooms special dessert was spot on. The photographer was always present and took pics of everything with plenty of individual photos also. I was shown the photographers list from my daughter & he seemed extremely organized with every detail in place. The bride & groom were happy and seemed very pleased and happy on their special day. All of the staff was so helpful & kind. I can't think of a thing that needed to be different. It was truly a beautiful and memorable wedding!

First visit for a wedding. The views are gorgeous. Great place to take pictures and thats it. I would not recommend having an event here. The food was just ok. The staff could not keep up with serving the patrons. The wait for the staff to replenish eaten food was long, and that's if they didn't run out. Two bartenders walked out and quit before the event even started. So, there was only one bar open attempting to serve a large crowd. Needless to say there was a long continuous line for mixed drinks. For food the served gumbo, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and some sort of roast beef/prime rib. The staff weren't really friendly as if I didn't feel warm and welcomed to be there.

Her dreams and expectations were exceeded in every possible way. My daughter and my son in law got engaged two years ago, they both live in Jacksonville, Florida. Since both families live in Baldwin County, they decided to have their wedding here. When we started looking for a venue, we were having a challenging time looking for the perfect place and a reasonable price. Until one day my co-worker told me she went to a wedding at Waters Edge, I right away went online and checked them. I decided to call and make an appointment. We met with Anita, she showed us around the place, and it was perfect they have a gorgeous establishment, covered pavilion with a fireplace for an outside ceremony and on the walkway to the pavilion there is an iron arbor that can be decorated on the day of the event. The property was big enough that you can choose anywhere on the property to have your ceremony. We then went to the reception area (barn) the place was very accommodating with lots of room and a nice bar. It has a rustic look with lots of old memorabilia. We sat with Anita, and we talked about everything that we needed to know. She was very knowledgeable and experienced with events. We discussed our options as a family, and we decided to go with Waters Edge. As the mother of bride, I had so much on my mind and worried about everything after talking with Anita, she made me feel at ease and assured me that she would help us give our daughter an elegant and very memorable wedding for our princess. We met every month to discuss our progress towards the event. At every meeting we discussed what needed to get done. Anita made recommendations for us to adjust as time progressed, she kept me and my daughter on our toes. She was very pleasant to work with and accommodating to all our needs. Anita and her team were amazing!! Also want to say thank you to the bartender Rebecca, her staff and our Disc Jockey (Anita's husband) for keeping the drinks and music going and accommodating our family and designated friends with special drink requests!! The place was amazing, and I would recommend this place to anyone.

It's filled with beautiful period antiques, some which are familiar to me from my granny's home, that immediately transported me back my childhood. The grounds are beautiful with large Magnolia trees and 120 yr old Live Oak trees with Spanish moss everywhere and there's Azaleas, Hydrangeas and a variety of other plants and shrubs. The grounds all around are meticulously maintained giving the property vibrant look and appeal. Originally it was the home of Charles and Susan Swift and their 11 children, it was purchased in 1976 by Nik Coles. Before his death in 2007, he bequeathed the home to the Baldwin County Historic Development Commission. In 2009 the home was opened to the public and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A debt of gratitude is owed to Mr. Nik Coles for his contributions in saving one of the most colorful and outstanding examples of the turn of the century Gulf Coast architecture in our community. The Swift-Coles Historic Home is now open to the public for summer tours. The guided tours leads visitors through the 16 room historic tidewater mansion and grounds to experience how life along the Bon Secour River would have been nearly 100 years ago. There's lots of legends and lore about this place being haunted, many about the deceased displeasure with the renovations. I have been here several times and the last was recently with #1 son and my neighbor Claudine for a late night paranormal investigation with Panhandle Paranormal Group. It indeed was very cool!
