The prices of plants are very good and I prefer this center to the Plymouth ones. The staff are very friendly and helpful and access around the store is very good. One thing to be aware of is the junction into/ out of the car park onto the main road as I have seen several accidents on this road. This site has several other stores that are worth a visit if you are at the garden center.

The duchy nursery has recently done up their shop and cafe which look over the nursery and the valley below. The cafe offers a selection of sandwiches, hot meals and cakes. The cream tea was delicious with plenty of jam and clotted cream ratio to the scone and lots of tea. The cafe also provides excel by coffee and cake. The duchy is definitely my current favourite place for a cream tea when returning home and is in a lovely location. A final quick tip for any visitors, the duchy is up a cornish lane, once you've gone past the golf club, keep going and you'll find it.

I quite like it in the summer as you can walk round the grounds. Outside they also have a variety of plants, garden sheds and garden ornaments that you can buy. Inside there is a big choice of plants, gifts (especially at Christmas) and they have café which has seating in and outside. A few times we have been to the café and had a roast dinner which was lovely. At Christmas time the garden centre normally sells lots of decorations and has a Santa's grotto. The garden centre always looks really well looked after I'm not really into flowers but I still enjoy looking around there and my daughters do as well.

The Robin's Nest cafe is charming and serves great food. Their all day breakfast is super and they have some beautiful cakes. Service is great, the staff are friendly, and there are good facilities.
