People were not warm and welcoming. Although I love the philosophy, everyone has their little clicks and didn't seem interested or welcoming to outsiders. I also went to a drumming experience there and found the same thing - everyone kept to themselves, rather than embracing we are all connected and we need to love everyone. They have a garden but I did not feel the energy there was good energy. It was also very overgrown with weeds- not tended to. I will try some neighboring Unity churches and hope for a better outcome.

My wife and I have been members for over 4 years and are very active in a few ministries including high school and as prayer partners. The teaching is grounded in Scripture and relevant to your daily walk. The Senior Pastor is Kurt Parker, who leads with integrity and a heart for seeing the next generation become church leaders. Other pastors teach in rotation who are equally sound in their teaching the Word of God. The worship experience is Spirit-filled, and the focus is more on praising our Creator and not on yourself. The worship leaders are talented and have produced their own music and shared on Spotify and CDs. The size of the congregation varies on the season. More attend when snowbirds are in town. But the fellowship is solid--especially if you're in a small group. That's where growth and intimacy flourish. There are two services: 9am and 10:30am. The children and youth's ministry is so good, Pastor Terry always gives good messages, and the community is so loving and welcoming. Pastor Terry is a great teacher, and we've learned so much from him in the last six months. We've also managed to get connected with a few couples that are our age, and we now attend a weekly (off-site) small group with those couples. The children's ministry is very active, and the children's director has a passion for children's ministry. The youth group is very active as well, and there are typically a lot of children's and youth activities (on top of regular church services) that give plenty of opportunities for children/teens to get involved. The church also does a lot of outreach into the community and seems to be very intentional as to how it spends its time and resources. This is a wonderful, family-friendly church, and we're thrilled to be here.

My parents and I were visiting from out of town and my cousin was showing us around. We happened to…read morevisit the church 30 minutes before 6pm vigil mass on Saturday so we decided to stay for mass. My Mom and I got to walk around the grounds and were drawn to the statue of Mary to the side of the church. Then we discovered the beautiful stations of cross behind the Mary statue and in the grass (please see my pictures). My Mom wanted to take a picture by each statute so we got to look at each one of them! As for the church, we were greeted warmly by the greeters. And the church itself was decorated so lovely for Christmas with the nativity on the altar. Being a member of my home church's choir I was impressed on how huge the choir is! Plus they sounded great too! I also like that there were several places where I could light candles and pray before mass. I chose the spot towards the back so as not to disturb anyone. The parishioners were also friendly during mass and I enjoyed the Deacon's homily! Happy churchgoing!
