Because of my asthma issues I agreed with the massage therapist that I would only wear the mask for last 15 min of the massage when my head is up. Well, the lady just texted me saying she wants to cancel because of Covid and the mask issue (I would have to wear a mask the whole time and she changed her mind... ok... I can understand it with the whole changing Covid situation)...I suggested I could send my girlfriend there who can take my spot and wear the mask the whole entire massage... the lady said no which makes it pretty obvious to me she simply did not want to give this massage and changed her mind not giving us nearly enough notice to find someone else... it's allI find it incredibly unprofessional to cancel last minute without a legitimate reason! So if you are visiting Nevada City for just a weekend and need a dependable massage therapist I'd look somewhere else. The response to the review is totally ridiculous. As I said I let the owner know I am 100% ok wearing a mask the whole time of the massage. After she cancelled last minute I did say it again - I was more than ok wearing a mask and she still said no! Come on-that is just more than clear to me that she just didn't want to do it leaving me cold and dry after I scheduled this weeks before. I'm ok with people cancelling but if you have to cancel last minute a professional would have a good reason to do so. That was not ok in my eyes or the eyes of my friends coming with me.

With Myrrah unavailable, Sonata stepped in and gave me a wonderful massage, really focusing on the torn muscles of my calves.
