We focused the first few treatments on boosting my energy levels, and I found that not only did I have more physical energy, but I also felt much more creative and inspired in my work. Since the only review for this place was written by someone who obviously knew nothing about acupuncture (WTF does chiropractic have to do with Chinese medicine?!) and didn't even use their services, I didn't let it deter me. Thank goodness for that! The woman running the place (I did not get her name) was very loud, and I wasn't positive she understood what I was trying to explain. It nearly caused me to leave, but I'm so, so glad I didn't. I have a lot of experience receiving acupuncture, and I know when someone knows what they're doing. And, to make a long story short, my pain was completely gone after that one session and ***has not returned***! It is a few weeks later now, and I have not had a single spasm! I cannot believe how effective this session was. She is a miracle worker! Even my very talented acupuncturist back home was impressed. If you have back pain especially, do not hesitate coming here. What's especially good about the Holistic Health Clinic is that they offer some treatments at reduced prices, but these appointments are limited. For example, you can book an Acupuncture session for as little as £15, available all day Wednesdays and Friday mornings. Gethyn Williams does the Wednesday sessions and comes highly recommended! After four ineffective visits to a GP, Physiotherapist, Masseuse and Acupuncturist, I didn't have…read moremuch hope for this place but I cannot recommend it enough. During my first visit I received a full back scan highlighting the severity of any structural/muscular inflammation resulting in a full, clear diagnosis of my problem and x-rays (and all in for £20 which I couldn't believe). They advised me that my problem was a degenerative condition in my neck, not my back where I was experiencing the pain. In fact, I was in so much pain I couldn't even lift my left foot to put it on the clutch to drive myself there. I have since stuck to their treatment plan and hardly ever feel pain at all. Did I mention the staff are really lovely too? If you're considering anywhere else, don't. You won't find any better.
