If you have some old family necklaces that need TLC, they are really good and honest here. Laura counted and measured all my beads and photograph before she started. She finished the restringing within the day.

The current show is focused on the life of loggers and fire watch tower workers. The show is surprisingly interesting - each piece of art builds the story of the industry and the people who work in it. Not a bit of political or environmental jargon here - but I guess you bring your own thoughts on that matter. The woman at the front counter was kind and welcoming. Jennifer the gallery manager was there today and was funny and pleasant to deal with. I told her what I was looking for and and she pulled out her trusty laptop and ran through a bunch of artists that they represent and described each of the artists perspective to me. I found some pieces that I liked by David Tycho and dropped the bomb on Jennifer that I would need then on a Remembrance day which is a stat for most... with out even skipping a beat she offered to meet me on her day off to get me the art I needed.....wow! Extra special thing today I happened to be there at the right time because I had the chance to meet the gallery owner Mat Petley-jones nephew of the late Canadian and British artist Llewellyn Petley-Jones. three thumbs up from this yelper!

Your eyes are a work of art…read more I stumbled upon the coolest spot where you can turn your eyes into literal ART I think this concept is so cool. This is a perfect gift idea for partners or family members. I took my mom here because we don't have a lot of photos together and I wanted her to have something that is beautiful and meaningful. Iris Gallery has a new location in McArthurGlen Outlet in Vancouver and I brought my mom here to get our eyes photographed together and we did some shopping while they edited the photos. Then we came back to choose the design that we wanted. They have several designs and can take photographs of 5 or 6 different eyes (perfect for families). We then waited a little while longer while they printed and framed our piece and we were thrilled with the results. It was so cool to see the comparison on my mom and my eyes together. Melbah did such a great job helping us out. The whole process took about 40 minutes from start to finish. Now I can confidently say that my eyes are a work of art save this for your Christmas list!
