Being a small business, I even got to speaking with the owner who seemed very humble and reminded me of the service you would get in a shanti town, I was blown away to say the least. The staff was helpful in recommendations for pairings to help pair my glizzy with the finest regional beverages. Besides the rampant cockroaches, blasting electronic dance music, and seemingly homeless transients that live in nearby rooms, this spot was this cats pajamas! I love wieners and boy oh boy does this place deliver! The ambiance is unmatched! It's almost as if you are teleported to the big Apple. The owner, Sam, is absolutely the man and si habla español. Sam and friends make the buns fresh every night and the meat is from a local chico farm so you're supporting the local economy! Had a delightful first visit at the Glizzy Garage a few nights ago with a few buddies and I already can't wait to go back. The owner, Sam, was so kind and even gave me my first hot wein for free. He even let me put all the toppings on my hot dog myself! There's also a really pleasant "mokey" aroma to the place that I was really drawn to.
