We ended up coming to Firenze as a cruise excursion to see David. Part of the tour was to be dropped off at this Jewelry shop as our meeting point after we wonder around, shop and eat. After we had our lunch, we decided to checkout the jewelry at this store. As we were walking in, there was a guy dressed and looked like a vampire in black, wearing more gold jewelry than anyone ever should. Immediately I was asked if I needed or wanted anything by several people. I looked at several over priced pieces and as we were about to leave, I saw a tri-color diamond cut ring. It was simple and elegant. Italians are the masters of diamond cutting. There were no diamonds on this ring but it sparkled as if it was encrusted in diamonds. Of course I paid more than what I would have paid here in the States. But this design and black gold, I have never seen. Florence/Firenze is famous for their gold. I had to get something to remember this trip. There are plenty of jewelry stores in the area, but these guys had the better designs that were original and better quality. Sell Sell Sell, that is how I felt coming into here. We came as a group and I got bored and wandered off during one of the instructions/sales pitches. I was immediately swarmed by sales people who's only goal was to get me to load up with stuff. Only to tell me %50 off come this way for jackets. I walked back on my own being to our group being followed the whole time. When they realized I was with a group they immediately left went back to their area. The jewelry was nice and my wife bought a bracelet. Overall we felt very pressured and more in a tourist sales pitch. The quality was very nice but the sales pressure was overwhelming. read more

I went there in 2021 and was amazed with the 18 k gold unique designs and a voluminous array to choose from. The prices were so good so much better than in the states. I bought a true Roman coin, on a pendant in which a Roman Chariot was depicted on one side and a head of a Roman soldier in head armor on the other. This coin was displayed on a pendant that could be flipped back and forth to turn to see each side. it was set off with a jewel on each end. A beautiful necklace to display it on was also chosen. I bought a 18k gold/ white gold ring that turned into a bracelet also. A very unique design and rare find!!! I returned this year to spend even more as the new selection was amazing. I wanted to buy it all!!! I finally had to cut myself off but the prices were absolutely fantastic. I would never buy anywhere else.
