Very good. The location is in the middle of nowhere, between the A50 and Shardlow, but it always seemed to be packed. Very authentic Chinese interior, with a good traditional menu. Attentive staff service and 3 beers on tap. Good food. read more

Didn't have any luck ordering through just-eat, but it was literally down the road so I guess I was being a bit lazy. Drove down and parked at the fuel station next door. Pretty stereotypical Chinese takeaway feel to it, your generic fish tank under the front desk, Chinese calendars and ornaments etc. Very friendly staff and i was a served straight away. Nice idea having the kitchen open, it looked clean and it was nice to see literally everyone mucking in. I guess I was waiting around 15 minutes but I ordered the fillet steak so I'd be worried if it came out sooner. I spent the time watching the fish in the tank beneath the desk so it went surprising quick. Absolutely fantastic food and well worth the money, one of the best Chinese takeaways I've been to. They even threw in some free prawn crackers :-)

The delivery is as quick as a busy restaurant can be, but the quality is always excellent. My top dishes are; Hot and spicy soup- delicious and not over spicy. Lemon chicken- big portion size and thick, sweet sauce. Vermicelli Singapore Noodles- got a good spicy flavour and jam packed with pork, chicken and prawns. Only thing slightly negative about Mr Woo is it is quite expensive. But I absolutely agree that you get what you pay for in this case and wouldn't go anywhere else.

The pub has a restuarant attached to it, which I am yet to try. It looked very busy, with people waiting for a table which is always a good sign. The food smelt good as well! Once I was sat down (so many empty seats to choose) I was brought a drinks menu that had certainly seen better days a food menu which just listed the options for the all you can eat and a poor attempt for prawn crackers. They looked like the ones you would get out of a bag at Tesco not the big light but crunchy ones I get in my local Chinese in Bristol. So on to the food to start I ordered salt and pepper squid which was actually rather nice however I made a mistake and ordered salt and pepper beef as well. The beef came out like pork crackling and was vary salty compared to the squid. For my main I thought I would go for something with a bit of zing so ordered Chicken in lemon sauce and pork and mushrooms. Pork and mushrooms were good however the chicken was battered, hard and crunchier and the sauce resembled lemon curd not nice. I had some egg fried rice with it and there was just something about it that didn't seem like my locals egg fried rice.
