I used to come here as a kid back when they had live performances (anyone remember Billy Hill and the Hillbillies?) Now that I went back as an adult (took me some time, because why would I go when they didn't have any live music), I can say that it's gone downhill. I went because I checked the menu and saw that they had a Caesar wrap. Nice! It makes me feel healthy even at Disneyland. It was very basic and lacked chicken. I would pay extra for chicken. It looked like burritos I used to make myself for lunch in elementary school. My mom's fried chicken sliders were alright. They were hot and I liked the pickles. If there's something Disney does well, it's fried chicken, but you can get that at so many other places in the park. It seemed loud with lots of families. There's 2 stories of seating and I saw 2 individuals working on their laptops in the corners upstairs. I remember doing that outside at a table on Main Street once when I had an annual pass (right before the pandemic hit) and thinking I was so cool because I was there on a work trip. No you're not and no I wasn't. You're at Disney, get off your laptop.

The Golden Horseshoe at Disneyland is one of those places that feels instantly charming and nostalgic the moment you step inside. There's something fun about eating in a space that has been part of the park for so long. The food is classic theme park fare, mostly fried and familiar, but honestly that usually hits the spot on a long park day. It's a good place to grab something filling without overthinking it. Sometimes a little nostalgia and comfort food is exactly what the moment calls for.

Decent spot to grab some food at Disneyland, the AC is blasting so it feels nice sitting in there on a hot day. Also there's an upstairs seating area as well. I've tried the funnel cake here before and it was really solid! But this time I tried the cowboy fries and it was decent! Tastes like you're eating a cheeseburger but in fries form!

I've been coming to the park for over 40 years now and I don't think I've ever set foot in this place EVER. The only reason why I learned about this is because I heard about this Churro Sundae they served which was just OK to me. The best thing about this place is the setting because it feels like you are truly in the movie set for a burlesque club or saloon. A very cool setting and a good place to sit down if you need to rest your feet. I don't know what other snacks are present but I assume it's more ice cream if anything else. I'd say if the churro is the thing that is drawing you in for the sundae just got the churro instead, this is unless you are craving some ice cream.

Pre-Covid, Billy Hill and the Hillbillies performed here. It was a fun place to grab lunch, with fun entertainment. I'm not even a country music fan, but always tried to stop here every trip. Now, it's a nice air-conditioned respite from the Disney crowds with a very limited menu. The food is pretty standard Disney fare. The honey mustard chicken sandwich was a chicken tender on a Hawaiian bread roll, topped with cole slaw. The Caesar wrap does not contain chicken. It's filled with beans, cheese, and greens. Not very filling. An ok meal, inexpensive, in a convenient location and gets the Chase Disney 10% discount.

Need a quick bite or a place to cool down? This is one of the spot at Disneyland. Lots of seatings but it does get a little crowded. The dining area up stairs can be a little tight in the aisle. Had the Magic Key Pass Float Sampler and Cowboy Fries. The Floats are not for me, needed more ice cream and the whip cream overpowered the experience. The Cowboy Fries was delicious with generous toppings but needed more fries!

Still my favorite place to eat or grab a snack! We had the Magic Keyholder special (the different floats) and it was so good! I also got this cute Zero Keychain for my straw! Service is always amazing and I love the vibe and atmosphere here! My favorite place to be! Makes me feel like I'm in the old west!

We've been specifically seeking out interesting items as part of Disneyland's 70th birthday festivities, and I was definitely intrigued by the Cowboy Fries at The Golden Horseshoe. The Cowboy Fries, which are described as "Fries, Nacho Cheese, Sautéed Ground Beef, Burger Sauce and Butter Pickles," certainly didn't disappoint. I mean, how could they with that assortment of toppings? But everything's just done so well. The delicious cheese sauce, the plentiful, flavorful beef, and the perfectly cooked fries. And that burger sauce is a genius idea, too, since it gives the concoction zestiness I found irresistible. The whole thing is just so, so good. Also, The Golden Horseshoe is really cool in terms of its old-time saloon atmosphere. There's even a second floor which was pretty much empty when we were there, which makes the joint a real hidden gem and a real respite from the massive Disney crowds.

The Golden Horseshoe is a great spot to take a break and catch a quick bite. When I'm in the mood for chicken tenders, I always go here for their hot honey ones, they're just the perfect level or spice and sweetness for me. There's also a lot of seating in this spot, they have two levels - it can definitely fill up, but if you're going during an off hour, you should be fine. But either way, mobile ordering will help save time as always. I also tried their Magic Key Float Sampler, I think it's worth a try, but personally I'd like to stick to one flavor/float instead of 3. I'd say my favorite was the one with strawberry ice cream and sprite. One of the other flavors is root beer with chocolate ice cream - it's not bad, just an interesting mix.

The Golden Horseshoe is open and they're doing some construction on the building so it looks closed but it is not. It doesn't matter if you do a mobile order or not because the service is slow! The staff has no urgency nor do they have great customer service. You just kind of stand there until one of them acknowledges you but they're in absolutely no rush to help. They don't even say "we'll be right with you" . I think they just want you to leave them alone. My friend and I got chicken tenders but did check out the mobile order part beforehand and saw there was cute little soda floats. Coke, root beer, and a Shirley temple one but it's not available to order at the counter. I ordered it in the mobile order part and when it said it was ready it was just a print out receipt. I was told to go to the other end register and so I go there. The worker there ignored me and finally looked up from her paperwork or whatever she was working on and looked super annoyed. I asked her if this is where I hand my receipt and she gave it to a male worker. He told me to go wait at the end which makes no sense because the counter is enclosed so it's not like he can hand it to me at that end. He took his sweet time making the float and then he told me I could come back to his counter. What?! Lol that made no sense. The Shirley temple float tasted only like sprite and that was meh. Classic root beer and coke floats were good. I wouldn't recommend the golden horse shoe as the customer service is horroble horrible. You'd think workers working at the happiest place on earth would have better customer service but I think they all just hate their job. Ruins the Disney magic.

Beer-battered Fish & Chips Neapolitan Ice Cream Floats Sampler
    Richard M S.

First Disneyland visit of 2026 and we kicked things off with lunch at The Golden Horseshoe which was a solid choice for refueling during a long park day. I ordered the beer-battered fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised by how huge the piece of fish was. Crispy, hot, and definitely filling. As Magic Key holders, we also tried the Neapolitan float sampler, which was a fun treat to share. All three were good, but the Sprite float with strawberry ice cream was my clear favorite. It was super refreshing and perfect for the Disney heat. We took our food upstairs, and it was such a nice break from the crowds: cool, calm, and a great place to sit and recharge. Everything was delicious and gave us the energy we needed to keep going for the rest of the day. I'd happily order all of this again. The Golden Horseshoe is a great mid-day stop when you need good food and a place to relax during a full day at the parks.

Fish and Beer-battered Fish & Chips
    Alex C.

After watching an Instagram post on the Fish and Chips at the Disneyland Golden Horseshoe, I had to try it out and confirm it. We had dinner at the Golden Horseshoe and got two of the Fish and Chips with lemon and tartar sauce, and one kids meal with chicken strips, French fries and chocolate milk. It was a little wait but well worth it. They have ample seating inside and some on the second floor. It's a western saloon decor and there were only 2 cashiers taking orders. The kitchen in the back sent out food in trays through a window in the wall. The fish and chips were crispy with a decent portion of cod (probably previously frozen) but nonetheless tasty. The tartar sauce was spot on with a little lemon, the fish was great. The chips (aka French fries) were basic fries but not soggy. My daughter ate both chicken strips with her chocolate milk. The servers were friendly and helpful. Overall, for the price and quality (for Disneyland) it was a good dining experience. Most things in the park are overpriced or mediocre. I will be back for more fish and chips!!

I can't believe in all the times we've been to Disneyland, we have never ventured into the Golden Horseshoe! I was motivated by a seasonal treat they were offering-the Gingerbread Sundae which sadly did not live up to my expectations. The vanilla ice cream was good but the cake was cold and dry. I think if it had been warm and/or came with a sauce it would have transformed this dessert. We used the app to place our order so I don't really have anything to say about the service and we didn't try any other food items but the ambiance of this place! It is what you'd expect if you walked into an old time saloon complete with a stage for entertainment. Lots of seating including some balcony seating as well. I imagine during the summer this place could be a refuge from the heat! As most of the quick service dining options in DL, the menu is very limited-chicken tenders, a spicy chicken sandwich and a wrap. The sandwich sounds pretty tasty and I may just have to meander over to try it the next time I'm in the park.

Ask the Community - The Golden Horseshoe

    Do they take reservations?

No. They are just a walk up location. Mobile order is also an option. It is located in frontier land inside Disneyland park.

Is the vegetarian pepper jack Mac still here, I'll be in Disneyland in May and I love that plate?

    Yes they still have it

With doors opening about an hour before the concert, the GA line tends to be longer than expected, and most of the venue is standing-room-only unless you opt for "premium" price for seats. Even so, the "standing only" crowd is usually respectful, and despite the tight space, the atmosphere stays fun. But, for short folks like myself, can be a major disadvantage as crowds beginning to move toward the front and blocking the view. From a concert going perspective, wear comfortable shoes is best as you're standing through the two+ hours. The ventilation is okay so you could get warm fairly quickly. Plus, there's four bar stations throughout the venue so there's no shortage of drinks for purchase (snacks are available, too). Overall, I like that the parking garage is attached to the HOB along with many other shops. HOB representatives also offered discounts parking -- so you pay $8 for unlimited parking (rather than $4/hour).

It has its own "fast lane" entrance where there is rarely a wait to gain entry. You walk through the private entrance and take an elevator upstairs. The entrance area is decorated beautifully. It is dimly lit with red backlit Buddha statues and a beautiful chandelier overhead. Once you check-in and get your show tickets, you are offered complimentary champagne and guided into the main lounge area. It is also dimly lit, and there is definitely a wow factor when you walk in. The orange and pink ceiling really sets a vibe. There are various couches, lounge chairs, and tables around the room. The bar looks elegant and has nice looking lit columns. There are also large semi-private booths along the wall. The restrooms are upscale and there is usually an attendant. We were going to eat and have a drink before the show, so we had a booth reserved. The booths are U-shaped and are very large. They can easily accommodate ten or more people comfortably. I had the unami double burger ($22), and it was delicious and filling. The Mediterranean salad with salmon ($24) and chili crisp wings ($18) were also enjoyed at the table. We all also enjoyed an old fashioned. Our server was very friendly and took excellent care of us. The lounge also has a small stage. Half way through our meal, a band setup and started playing. The band was great and their music style fit the room well. A perk of membership is box/suite seating upstairs with a great view of most shows. The latest show I attended was for a number of tribute bands and upstairs seating was closed. Members still get VIP seating at the back of the floor with elevated seating that overlooks the general admission crowd. Both VIP areas include food and cocktail service. This experience blows away standing on the floor in a packed general admission crowd for hours. I look forward to returning again soon.

The second being that I only made it out to this place once since I only lived in the area for a brief time before it's closing. Growing up on the East Coast I always remember seeing Chain Reaction listed on upcoming tours and when I moved out to LA the venue cut down on hardcore shows and started primarily having metal shows that I didn't really care enough to travel to Anaheim for. In early November I saw that King 810 were playing here so I jumped on the opportunity to come and check this legendary venue out. Now, this venue does have a small parking lot and I got lucky snagging a spot up front even though I showed up fairly late. The venue itself looks absolutely insane. The walls here were packed with t-shirts from bands who played here in the past and it was a truly unique look. I'll be honest, when King 810 took the stage the sound wasn't the best and they had some mic problems but who knows if that was the venue or just the band setup, so I'm just going to ignore that all together. Overall, I'm glad I got to at least check out Chain Reaction once before it's closure. I'm super bummed I missed out on tickets to the final shows here, but at least I got here. RIP Chain Reaction.

It's a small strip-mall venue tucked into the corner - little stage inside, a few spots to sit outside, and basically standing room only once you walk in (there's one small bench if you get lucky). There's also a small wall you can stand behind if the kids start getting a little rowdy with their teen energy, which is kind of the unofficial parent safe zone. Sound-wise: bring earplugs if you're a parent. It gets loud in there - drums, guitars, and teenage enthusiasm will do that. They've got beers (mostly cans) and sodas, with beer prices running about $7-$9. I didn't really see any real food options, maybe just chips or small snacks, so eat before you come if you're planning to hang out for a while. Cover was about $12 to get in, and there are no in-and-out privileges. There's a sign that says "no moshing," which they seem mostly serious about, but they're a bit lenient when the kids get excited as long as it doesn't get out of hand. Overall, it's a decent little venue doing something cool for the community. I'm just glad they give these kids a real stage and a crowd. I'm a big fan of live music, and it's fun to watch the next generation figure it out in real time.

Best part is that you can request songs, so if you only know 5 songs so far like me, come early to write them on the list so that you're not just sitting on the sideline all night. The bar & food are pretty darn good. Solid nachos and french fries def good munchies while you're drinking and waiting for your next song! We reserved a table for a birthday on a Saturday, had to spend at least $350 for the booth. The food food was really good though, my favorites were the scallops. Cocktails and shots were served throughout the night, plus the booth had prime seating watching the dance floor. Overall a great place to celebrate!

I have never been to a bar this bad. 1st, they were not set…read moreup when they were open and so I walked in and it was empty, no one at the bar, eventually we sat down and I was dancing having a good time, then I got a margarita, I am 99% sure they put yellow Gatorade in their margs, it was not good. Then I got a white claw, this part is my mistake I guess but I didn't know , but I went to step outside for a moment to get some fresh air and security came outside and aggressively SNATCHED my white claw and threw it away, I was stunned. He ended up feeling bad because I cried because I'm sensitive lol and gave me a new white claw but that whole thing was just uncalled for and crazy - a simple "hey you can't have that outside either throw it away or come back in" would have done fine. THEN, and yall; I was a little lit but not drunk drunk, I was talking to the bar tender we were chopping it up and having a good talk then this girl who I said I hi to thought I was hitting on her and I told her I was married to a man and then I asked her "did you think I was hitting on you" she dismissed me but then apparently she told the bar tender that I did something because I was ASKED TO LEAVE - I have never in my life written a review for anywhere and I also have never EVER been escorted out of a bar at all let alone for no valid reason. I wish it went better because love dancing and it's a place to dance near my house but i definitely will never be back and would NOT reccomend this bar to anyone ever.
