My steak was perfectly cooked medium rare as I ordered and the meat was very tnder. I ordered a side of garlic and truffle oil sauce and it went well with my steak. They do bring out horse radish and 3 different mustards free of charge. It was bit surprising Aussies use mustard for steak but it was very good. Every steak comes with thick cut chips (they mean fries) and was sooooo good! I loved them as much as I loved the steak. This is just not that kind of pub. It's early days yet but we're really pleased to have the sister pub to The Fox Hotel in Collingwood in our hood. Craft beer on tap by the pint or pot, a wall of others to choose from including the not so crafted VB - handy for those moments when Mr Sticki's Bush Brother comes to town. There's also a small wine list, spirits and single malt whiskies to tempt those who don't have a thirst for beer.
