Wish I had come here for lunch way sooner. Now that I know what's on the menu I will be ordering takeout food more often since my office is down the street, but enough about me. I ordered the Monte Christo and and i can truly say that this was und done the least messiest one if every had. The French toast wasn't greasy at all and the toppings were on the side which makes for a much better eating experience. The French toast was perfectly moist and light at the same time which quit the feat when dredging in egg. The meat was warm without being greasy as well. The cheese peeled out but didn't make a getaway. The most quintessential part though for me was the perfect sprinkled confectionery sugar that looked like a fresh light dusting of snow. The little basket of French Fries was also a key part of this Fabulous lunch. Oh and I forgot to mention that our meals came out in less that 10 minutes?? A Granary is a storehouse for threshed grain such as wheat, barley or oats. It can also be a region producing grain in abundance. In Lakewood Ranch, this little 'storehouse' is the closest we'll get to finding fresh grains. But so worth it! Fab One and I stopped in for breakfast on this inaugural visit. Ten in the morning and the place was steadily busy. A good sign. We were seated immediately. Jessica would be our server. She was fantastic. I ordered my good ol' favorite, some hunger hankering Corned Beef Hash. This delectable dish included a creamy cheese sauce infused with red pepper, green pepper and onion served over hash browns. Topped with Boars Head corned beef, two eggs and a side of toast. Fab One ordered a Create Your Own Omelet with 3 fillings. Watching the Granary world around us, we were both thoroughly ingrained in the flavorful and fresh ingredients. As we foraged through our meals, our smiles removed any doubt. Love this breakfast/brunch spot. Came in after a nice long walk at the beach. As usual, the place was bustling but we got seated within a few minutes. Ordered the portobello blue burger with a cup of clam chowder, hubby had the Reuben. Loved the chowder, burger was pretty consistent. Had it last time we had brunch here and it was just as good. Blue cheese was pretty mild and didn't overpower the dish at all. Armando was pretty attentive and very friendly. Loved the atmosphere. People def enjoy eating here. read more

Moved to this area a few years ago and been waiting to go to the granary because of all the good feedback I heard. Unfortunately it wasn't the best experience. We had about a 25 min wait on a Thursday morning which wasn't bad since outside was beautiful. Food wasn't the best. I had the meat lovers skillet and it wasn't very good. It was pricey for the portion and the potatoes had a very strange seasoning on them. Service was slow and unresponsive. We asked for items or needed something and it took awhile to receive or was wrong multiple times. The owner kept coming by to help which was nice. Unfortunately I probably won't be back. We have been here several times now. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. There's always a wait time on Saturdays and Sundays, longer on Sundays. The atmosphere has a pleasant standard diner feel. The food is well prepared. If you're sensitive to salty food, I don't recommend the meat lovers skillet, which I selected this morning. However, the other dishes we've ordered have been enjoyable. I personally prefer a minimal salty flavor. I rarely ever add salt to a prepared dish. The pancakes are yummy and huge, if you prefer to eat a smaller portion, you can order a single one. As far as other menu items, we've ordered their waffles, eggs, and omelets, as well as lunch sandwiches. I enjoy a Mimosas occasionally with my meal, they're a fairly common breakfast drink in Florida. This morning, I had a delicious Chai Latte. We are pleased enough with the quality and service to chose this diner as one of our to go to places for breakfast and brunch. read more

I was very disappointed, due to the lack of customer service, the lack of management and the lack of plain simple respect. This reader and humble reviewer has only one thing to say. If you are of the darker skinned tone please do not support. For some people even in these times have the mentality of what we call "medieval" or plain ignorant. We were running a bit late for my husbands birthday brunch gathering but were served four delicious breakfast plates with constant coffee top-offs from cheery servers and staff. First of all... Yelp needs to add additional $$$$ signs to the pricing.. Grandson had the Breakfast burrito plate and one pancake. I had the 2 egg with bacon and link sausage and o blueberry pancake. We both had juice. The pancakes are large but they only provided one tiny tub of butter and a small amount of syrup. So they are stingy with the condiments but will bring more if you can catch the server. The food tasted ok but not exceptional. I was more than surprised to see the bill of $45 for 2 people for breakfast! I asked the manager if he could work on the price a bit... he did $2 and seemed indifferent to the price. To finish on the way home my grandson purged the 1/2 of burrito he ate along the side of the road.... so sort of food poisoning.. liquid and pepto finally .... Consistently quality experience. Everything we've had here has been good. Recently moving to the area, sort of like a lot of people we discovered this one day while driving down Lakewood Ranch Boulevard. I am glad we stopped in. I've stopped in for breakfast and a few times for lunch and will be back. Their picked two is a great deal. We love their curry chicken salad sandwich. It's all good here. Good Solid find in Bradenton! We found the Granary on Yelp. Stopped in for lunch. The open face tuna melt was superb. Lovely melty cheese on top. Bacon was an excellent touch. My blackened chicken tacos were a nice blend of chicken, pineapple slaw and a citrus salsa. You have to get the spicy fries with ranch dressing for dipping purposes. My guess is the spice is a yummy blend of Cajun seasoning and old bay. I will be returning when back in Bradenton. read more

This is come to be late only breakfast place that we go to locally. Have a great staff and the menu is perfect for our group of friends. They even have mimosas, but we're usually there during the week so are a little more boring. They both using locally-sourced, organic products. Karen Ronney the owner refused service to our family because we had a service dog anybody who has a service dog beware not only did this woman refuse service to us she was belligerent, insisting that she knew what she was doing clearly not understanding the law.
