I have to simply tell you that i am a great fan of Indian cuisine.
I have recently revisited a town i lived in the East Anglia area of Bedfordshire.
There it lay, only a brief walk from the Town center, the bridge over the river Ouse at
virtually at the entrance of the fabulous Swan Hotel.
If you are ever in Bedford do not miss the thrill of an evening of delight at The Grand (Indian)
Restaurant at 39 Tavistock Street.
You are not treated like a good customer at, "The Grand." Rather, are you a revered member
of the family! There is no end to the kindness, politeness, and sincere care and respect with which you are treated and served. It is a lovely and quaint romantic atmosphere with colourful but muted lighting. An excellent romantic first date or celebratory destination for any age.
And then there is the food, itself. I cannot say enough about the quality, flavour, colour, and presentation of this incredible cuisine. It is so incomparable and gorgeous in colour and beauty that i had to take multiple photographs of the entire panorama.
The sauces are without compare. Feel free to experiment and order anything on the bill of fare
or order one of your faves, such as lamb kourma, saab paneer, chicken masala, or the fabulous, Tandoori mixed grill, with extra prawn. You may be confident of delectable "take home" or leftovers from this exquisite parade of the palette, but what is more is that you will take home with you the memory of a grand experience extraordinaire.
Be Well but eat Grand!
