This place was absolutely horrible. I went there for my Y6 camp last year. Though the activities were good but it is just trash. Their food there is so trash it's even a compliment if you call it sewer waste. They woke us up very early in the morning to eat snow cones with ice cordials. For breakfast you can eat tiny pancakes, disgusting eggs, horrible beans or watery taste spaghetti. My friend had to go home on the first day because of food poisoning and I almost vomited after consuming the cold burger that seems to came from bins. But the worst is the living quality there. The weather there is bad since it keep raining every 10 minutes. We had to live in small tent with gym mat instead of actual mattresses. I found bird poop under mines. The tent even leaked at night while we were sleeping. They don't have actual floors in their showers and no hot water. The hygiene in the bathrooms were bad. You had to grab your own torch to just go to the toilet outside just for a wee. In conclusion it's a trash experience and if parents see this never take your kids here. read more

Lord. This place is even worse than New York Public Bathrooms. Yes, the Giant Swing was fun, but all the activities of course, had to be ruined by instructors. Not to mention, the food tastes like cardboard and glorified water. Spaghetti at Tea Gardens taste like someone added noodles to soggy water, the bread seems more sad than me and the nachos: you normally can't mess up nachos - but nope. The Nachos were soft as hell and the salsa tasted like rat piss. Not to mention the instructors ding Dong ditch, sweat and physically assault people and, some pervert at my school looked in my bathroom, naked. Speaking if the bathroom, the hygiene and cleaning is more than horrendous. Even my poop is more cleaner than the bathrooms, and it smelled like someone added fart spray. And the cabins and mess hall looked like prisons. Horrendous. read more

The Great Aussie Bush Camp - I recently attended The Great Aussie Bush Camp in Tea Gardens, the only enjoyable thing I did there was the power fan; the overall experience left much to be desired. The food was horrible and flavourful with shit. The instructors were unprofessional, and the facilities were lacking. I DO NOT recommend this camp. The Great Aussie Bush Camp is the definition of a hellhole. My experience was dreadful, and my classmates had an appalling time. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT come here! read more

It was actually disgusting everything was green and mouldy the tents were dripping of chemicals, the staff was rude they touched us weirdly when theyb put on the worn down harness they strapped it way too tight so i was very iuncomfterbla and sore after the swing for days, the food was crusty and defenitely leftovers from last year the spaghetti was hard and some were mushy and there was a cockroach leg in my water which was slimy, the beef was frozen on the inside and green on the outside the staff also stunk and the showers were full of shit (literally). They should add zero stars on this website just for great aussie buash camp. My friend was vegetarian and he got an apple with a worm in it. The activities were so bad everything was used for at least 10 years. I found a condom in my bed when i came which shows that they dont clean up the tents. read more

it's horrible do not recommend, first of all the food there is raw and disgusting e.g the burger patty they severed me and a few other boys were raw because they were still pink in the middle and then they served us fried rice and it tasted so bad because it's just plain rice and soy sauce with 1% egg . When i went into the cabin it was like 80 degrees because the air con was broken and the doors in the bathroom were so bad because there was a big gap between the door and the wall which people could peek through the door easily and they also don't clean the cups and bowls properly they just put the cups and bowls in a dishwasher and just add hot water without any dishwasher detergent read more

The Great Aussie Bush Camp is an amazing camp. It has so many great activities like a giant swing, high ropes, rock climbing and bush craft. The dining at The Great Aussie Bush Camp was surprisingly great except for the spaghetti which was watery and nobody ate. The rest of the camp was amazing. Don't listen to the 1,2 or 3 star reviews because they are exaggerating. The giant swing was Had no seat which is why I didn't put it as a 5 star review. Everything at the Great Aussie Bush Camp is safe and enjoyable unless you don't like the activity which is very unlikely. The instructors will get you excited. read more

Everything. No soap in the bathrooms, disrespectful staff, beef is green, chicken is uncooked, the harnesses for the flying fox and giant swing are worn down (about to break) the tents are growing mould and are not safe to sleep in. Might I add the tents/cabins are never cleaned by the actual staff. The activities are boring, and they spend most of the times explaining for 40 minutes and then expect the children to pack up the activities, clean the tents/cabins and do their own washing up. I paid $545 for my child to go to this camp site in the middle of a petrol station and you're telling me they have to do your chores? No, do not come here. read more

We went as parents to ensure our child was cared for as she requires a medical diet. We stayed nearby but visited daily. The camp team were very obstructive to us being in the camp or seeing anything. Despite assurances, they provided no appropriate food for our child and after the first day, we discovered that they did not even provide the plant milk they said they could, so she had dry cereal we had provided. We had to provide all the other food. For the other kids, they had white bread, devon, some sort of spaghetti bolognese - the cheapest prison type food they could provide. The kids were usually hungry. The facilities were disgusting, with tents I that were vinyl with mouldy roofs and metal and vinyl hammock beds. There was water pooling outside the tents. They had a screen door so were freezing. The toilets were the worst, they were not cleaned during the entire stay and my daughter reported having to beg the staff to clean the diarrhoea sprayed everywhere. The people running the camp were backpackers, who were bouncy and had a formulaic routine with the kids but just didn't care, wouldn't get the teachers, allow students to access their bags for more clothing when they were cold, saying "don't care". I also doubt their safety or competence. I regret not following my daughter to the activities to see how safe they were; given the standard of the other facilities and staff, I would be expect these were also sub-standard. read more

To start off with, I truly pity anyone else who, like me, was forced to endure days on end in this hellhole. Not only were the rooms swarming with ants and flies, but we even found blood in the mattresses and vomit outside our fucking cabin. Not to mention that in one of the games, we were forced to spend hours outside in a dark forest where one of our friends was bitten by a snake. Upon hearing the screams of agony, nobody was able to reach her or even get back to the supposed 'safety' that the instructors should have provided, so we were left scrambling in the mud, in the dark, with the spiders and who knew what else, trying not to die. Then, a few hours later, when we had regrouped at the cabins, we realised that we had left behind two of our classmates! What ensued was a massive scramble to search for the missing classmates, only for them to emerge half an hour later, scratched, bruised and crying about spiders. Now, we shall move on to the food. How, you may ask, could anyone possibly screw up the simplest dish of them all - mac and fucking cheese. Let's take a moment to consider one microwave, one packet of food, what could possibly go wrong? The texture was somehow rubbery, creamy and burnt at the same time, don't ask me how this is even fucking possible. And don't even get me started on the spaghetti. I swear to god, I thought they were tapeworms. I'm not even going to talk about the supposed 'meat' we were served. I don't know what poor animal produced this utter shite, but I hope they rest easy in hell. Beware of the scrambled eggs! My friend has been forced to endure this prison camp three times, each for three days, at three different schools, it's time we stop this torture. Speaking of animals, that's the only thing the cabins were fit for. I swear to god, prison cells are considered five stars compared to them. In the heat of summer, the air conditioners were as dysfunctional as my life. If I dared to so much as nudge the controller, the supposed cooling properties of the air conditioner blasted out a gust of insects, dust and who knew what else. There was mould EVERYWHERE, on the ceilings, on the walls, even on the floor! The showers.... oh, god, the showers. One hour for 180 students to use the five showers available. 'Shower Hour' made me cringe with dread every time I heard the phrase. By doing some simple maths, shower hour is more like the shower of dread. If someone took more than thirty seconds in the shower, there would be a barrage of students climbing over the doorframe, and if someone dared to step on the yellow tiled floor of the shower block barefoot, foot fungus would soon await them. If you so dare to ask for a sip of water, the only answer you will get as a response is the dreaded slush of the cordial inside the jug. Every day, there was no such thing as a drink break, just a snowcone - codename for a cup of disgusting, unhygienic ice drenched in a Niagara Falls of cordial. God forbid you actually want a sip of water. If I'm being completely honest, the instructors at camp reminded me of the animatronics in FNAF. Fake, basic and slightly unnerving in their persistence to get us to actually participate in the activities in the scorching heat. So, all in all, yeah I would not recommend the Great Aussie Bush Camp. Parents, if you're reading this, please, I beg you, spare your children from the horrors of the 'camp'! Schools, please don't send your pupils to this godforsaken place. And children, run, run as fast as you can. read more

Because there is no 0 it's a 1 First off the cabins, SCORCHING hot in the day and FREEZING cold at night and we had no fan, aircon or anything. the mattress? a gym mat and the bed was sooooo thin and small. there are literally peep hole around our cabin and someone opened it when my friend was getting changed. NOT GOOD. Boys were kicking footy balls out on the grass and hit my friend TWICE in our cabin. They NEED have PROPER DOORS. the door had mesh on the front and could see the inside and we had to put a towel over it. And the door would just fly open because of the "lock" like they could at least have a real door. we had no lights/ electricity so when it's dark you cannot see. i dont understand how they can call it a cabin. The food. do not get me started. if you have a dietary requirement you have a neon wristband like I'm insecure enough that I wish I could rip it off. the garlic bread was just bread with butter and garlic and from hearing other people, the food was TERRIBLE the only yummy thing was the apple juice. they gave us snow cones as afternoon tea and it really did not cool us down. The absolute best thing was the drink can on the last day. one of the instructors was dared to eat a stack of pancakes. He ate them and spat them out after 1 second which proves they were REALLY NOT good. The activities were pretty good although the power fan could be faster and the dual flying fox longer otherwise they were enjoyable especially the mud run and going to the beach because it was a REALLY hot day. The instructors were half good half bad. special mention to george for making the experience way better than it had to be and being soooo nice to us so thank you. He should really get a raise. But there was one instructor that spilled my friends chocolate milk and then constantly YELLED at HER to clean it up when she didn't do anything. She started BAWLING her eyes out afterwards and that was not a great night. The bathroom were SO HOT and stunk. They really need a little shelf in the showers to put your stuff and put more sinks and showers in. Overall the experience is NOT worth the 500 dollars it cost to go there I would pay 100 for that and you probably could pay me to even stay there for 1 night. read more

this place is a blast! i had to come here for a school trip in year 6. I wasnt expecting much but boy was this place amazing. a highlight of the trip was definetly running into some little year 4s in one of the other cabins. me and my buddies had just learnt about masturbation and decided to give it a go. we were just trying to find an empty cabin to play soggy biscuit in, but instead we ran into some year 4s. so we took advantage of the oppertunity, we played soggy year 4s!! we ran in and squished them into the corner of the room and all took turns chokin the chicken until we were milked dry. by the end, there was semen allll over the floor. Best. Day, Ever. definetly recommend however i am confused by the hookers in the industrial bins read more

The bathrooms smelt like shit and there was only 6 showers for almost 200 people. The food was plain and the chicken wasn't cooked. On last day they scammed us and we got some really bad spinach and ricotta cheese roll instead of the sausage they said we would get. One of the beds in the dorm was broken and I could slip from the top bunk to the bottom. The instructors didn't do anything when we told them about the bed they just pulled it back up and stood on the opposite side and said it was fine they when someone slept on it, it collapsed again. Then when we went to our activities they changed the bed and told us it was never broken. read more

I loved the great aussie bush camp. The food was amazing and the rides were so scary but fun. The only problem were that the showers were very dirty. The cabins were okay not the greatest but not the worst. By the way I suggest you don't hesitate on the power fan and just go quickly, and go to the top on the giant swing read more
