Only open since Easter 2012, it was opened so recently you can smell the newness when you walk in. It wasn't even listed on here until I added it! I've only visited The Stepping Stone, but no doubt it's definitely one of the best gastropubs in the area. The decor is very clean an modern and the staff are all really helpful and friendly. We came here for lunch on a rainy Tuesday afternoon and were surprised at the quality! From what I've tasted, soup and sandwiches definitely seem to be their strong point. Very tasty, a lot of work seems to go into everything. We had club sandwiches (delicious), prawn cocktail, soup and chicken wings, all well worth the money and great value too. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the coffee, made from an instant machine, it's not the best. However, from what I've tasted I can't wait to try dinner here and in the Bank Bistro. One way to judge a place is if the locals eat there or not, and here, they do. It was packed! One thing to note though, they do play a lot of Daniel O' Donnel, so if you're not a fan, maybe you'd better think twice. But still, its a hidden gem nonetheless.

Small, with…read morenarrow aisles, bustling with customers and so packed with groceries it's quite difficult to walk around. Seems to cater mainly for the local holiday maker from Northern/ Southern Ireland. Has quite a few car parking spaces. Literally stocks a bit of everything i.e. wine, confectionary, fruit, Veg, frozen goods, a Deli counter, household cleaning products and pet supplies. Plus delicious Tayto crisps and Irish chocolate. When there I was served by a guy who I thought might have been Mickey Joe himself!

WiFi was good and strong too was able to connect well to everything. This is a feature not to be taken for granted especially when you travel North of a The Wall to Donegal. My friends ordered home made soup and a variety of sandwiches which they were all very happy with. So good place to enjoy lunch or a coffee in Letterkenny.

We saw it was being run by a bunch of young folk, way to go it's great to see some entrepreneurial spirit. We both choose the soup & sandwich deal - so it was two vegetable soup with one prawn Marie Rose sauce and I opted for added scallion and a breaded chicken sandwich. I was really delighted at the cold water North Atlantic prawns and not those tasteless warm water Asian prawns. All the food was really tasty and the portions were generous. We also ordered two large cappuccinos and the total bill was €18:80. The coffees too were first class and again huge portions. The service was ace and the WiFi free.

What a delightful find in the beautiful wilds of Donegal. This place served ace coffees, sausage…read morerolls and other savoury food including quiche, sandwiches and panini's. We chose the soup offering which was sweet potato with lentils, wheaten bread and butter. Good wholesome fare and none of that margarine rubbish. The one server was very friendly and chatty. Service was a bit slow. There was seven of us so we just relaxed and took in the surrounding beauty. I was surprised at just how big this place is inside and it was darn cosy too. It could certainly hold a coach tour and it has free WiFi as an added bonus. It has a sister Coffee Cup cafe business in Buncrana. This place isn't long opened and it gets most of its business from the adjacent and impressive Fort Dunree Military museum on the Inishowen peninsula so it's about 8 miles from Buncrana right by the sea. This is part of the wild Atlantic way and on the day we visited in certainly lived up to its delicious and wild reputation.
