Held only one month a…read moreyear, weekends in October, the Lincoln Ridge farm was very entertaining for 3 girls, ages 2, 5 and 7 along with adults who wanted a simple day trip. The petting zoo was simple but enthralling for the 5 and 7 year old, who spent many spare moments running back to it. Good cider, inexpensive pumpkin pie slices for $1.25, and caramel apples were terrific. The staff were all very polite and friendly. We did the pedal race cars, The Hoot Mobiles, a dozen times. The kids cheered with each launched pumpkin, or spent ten minutes rolling oversized pumpkins around or jumping on the mountain of hay. The 7 year old loved the riddles that were part of the corn maze. I don't have time to tell about the hay ride, barrel ride, haunted forest, candle dipping, games, just a lot of milling about aimlessly without agenda, resting in bales of hay, and coming back to those Hoot mobiles. We were there 5 hours and spent about $60-70 total. A bargain and a perfect fall day.

I moved to a nearby town back in 2020 and will admit to doing something people from where I come from (Miami, Florida) do. They completely ignore people and the situation and do what they want. See I did not notice a huge line of people waiting to be let in, in small groups at a time into the store. I just boom, walked in and started shopping. Thankfully for me, no one noticed! At least no store employee did. I got the stuff I was looking for, got helped by a store employee even to find them. I was then was reminded by a different store employee to remember to go on my app for coupons and rebates if I was a rewards member, which I had completely forgotten about! That saved me some money! The line to pay for my items was a little long and took me 20 minutes to get thru, but thats rather quick for Black Friday. Then I walked out, and to my chagrin i then noticed the line! Wow! I felt really bad! The line went down a large length of the mall! Apologies to everyone I skipped!!! Anyway, my family and I got the stuff I needed... in record time...

During a recent visit to complete our annual Christmas candle shopping, my wife, children, and I had a highly unprofessional experience involving an employee named Amanda. When we asked basic customer service questions--specifically about available gift sets and whether we could check out--we were met with unnecessary rudeness and dismissive behavior. Her words and actions made it clear that we were unwelcome in the store. This visit occurred within the final hour before closing, which may explain the treatment we received, but regardless of timing, customers should not be made to feel unwelcome or uncomfortable for asking routine questions. Unfortunately, the issue did not end there. Several days later, we contacted the store to report our experience. Amanda answered the phone and stated that there was no one overseeing management at the location and refused to provide contact information for any supervisor or corporate office. My wife did not identify herself during this call, so there was no indication that Amanda knew she was speaking with the same customer from the prior visit. On a subsequent call, I again spoke with Amanda and was provided a generic Gmail address as the only point of contact for someone allegedly overseeing the location. During this same conversation, Amanda stated she was working alone, which was later determined to be untrue, as the individual whose email address she provided was physically present in the store at that time. Eventually, I did receive a callback from the individual currently overseeing the store. I was informed that the store manager was terminated earlier this year and the position has not been filled. Despite assuming managerial duties, this individual stated he is not authorized to coach employees, address performance concerns, or take corrective action. No apology was offered for our in-store experience. Additionally, I was informed that there are no formal processes or training in place at this location related to customer sensitivity, diversity awareness, emergency situations, or incident escalation to corporate leadership. This lack of oversight and structure is concerning from both a customer service and safety standpoint. Based on this experience, it appears there is little to no accountability or management oversight at this location. As a result, I cannot recommend shopping here and will not be returning.
