Went to the restaurant for dinner and ooooof the portion sizes are massive. Food was nice and fresh and was under a tenner per main course. Drinks relatively cheap too. The oub has a nice freindly country pub atmosphere and if i was staying nearby wouldnt hesitate to go back again or recommend to others :)

John Paul Jones (founder of the American Navy) himself was a local lad and sailed from here. Prisoners were also sent to Australia from this port. There is little left of the pier which once graced the shores but if you listen carefully, you can still hear the smuggler moving their illegal wares!
