The prices are true to Florida State Campgrounds and so is the setup. It is nice and clean with accessible spaces for camping, bathroom, and dayside usage. The campsites themselves have electric, water, a fire pit with a metal grate, and a picnic table. Most are flat and some even have gravel. The bathrooms are well maintained too. There is a place called Hog Willer or something right next door that has occasional overnight atv noise on the weekend that is fairly loud at night, but if you have a fan or ac you don't notice it too much. Also, there is no store or quarter machine for supplies but they do have a washer and dryer. Overall, a nice and relaxing campground with trails, water, and nature. Just bring mosquito spray and all needed supplies.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they are all on-site. You can tell that they care about the property and the guests. We love the heated pool, the hot tub, the pool table, ping pong table, exercise room, bingo and the number of activities going on during the winter months. Who doesn't appreciate cement pads and full 50/30/20 hookups! We like it so much, we signed up for a much longer stay.

It's located in the Heart of the historic district in Palatka, Fl. We got very lucky to be able to reserved 2 rooms for this past weekend a year ago for a wedding that we attended. We got there Friday night at around 8:00 pm and Mr. Tate was such a gentleman to assist us and guide us to our nice cozy rooms. The rooms where clean and very comfortable. We were 2 couples, Mr. Tate was very kind and made us feel at home not like customers but family guests. In the morning his daughter Abby served us an amazing breakfast She as well was very attentive and kind. We were there for 2 nights and on the second day before checking out we again had a great breakfast and after that Mr. Tate, gave us a tour of this magic place, so much history on this magnificent landmark. This is the first time that we stayed in a Bed and breakfast Inn. And truly recommend this place to everyone. First time here. Turned out to be one of my favorite springs. Like always, it took me about 20…read moreminutes or so to get fully submerged due to the lovely freezing water (Jesus!) but oh boy, it's soooo nice once you're in. It truly is a beautiful spring. There was a sweet boy standing near the part where the actual spring bubbles up. He was 14 and he was literally welcoming everyone who came near him. He's very passionate about Salt Springs and said he's been going there since he was 8. What I loved most about this spring is that for the most part, it is not deep. You can walk around fine in it. Beware of some slippery rocks though. I still brought my noodle because some of the springs nearby are real deep and I'm not a very good swimmer. The parking area has several gorgeous huge trees with low branches making it a beautiful spot for pictures. They have several picnic tables and camping sites. We paid $13 for 2 adults. There are good and bad things about this spring, but I really would give it a 3.5 if I was able. Good: --- The staff is friendly and attentive. --- Picnic tables are plentiful, clean, and tucked under shade trees. --- Charcoal grills available --- Walkways are cement or wooden, making it easy on people with mobility issues. --- Restrooms on site (I thought they only had port-o-potties!) --- Trashcans are plentiful & not overflowing. --- Love being able to swim to the cave and crevices to see the spring boils --- Great for snorkeling, so many fish (not kinds of fish, but number of fish) Not so good: --- Price. $14.50 per person is absolutely ridiculous. --- Needs changing rooms. It's gross to change in a tiny bathroom stall. --- The water got pretty cloudy, and lots of debris near the walls. --- When I got out of the water I felt like the water had a smell and it was on me. Other springs I feel refreshed and clean. --- The steps are super slippery --- They make a big deal on signage not to bring oversized floats, yet said nothing the SUP that came in like the Titanic among fishing boats. Plenty of staff walking around to catch that. --- Lots of limestone rocks, but they are covered with mossy growth. In many places it is too shallow to swim over, but too slippery to walk to the deeper part. (I know it is a natural feature that can't be changed, but for the price...you need to know) All in all, we did have a fun day. This was our first day of vacation, so if all of the springs are cloudy for some natural reason, I'll come back and edit.

Staff/Owners are very accommodating and are always adding more things to improve the place. They have an above ground pool for summer with a surrounding deck. They are pet friendly. There is small pond for fishing, two bath houses (one with a stand up shower, one with a tub), only thing i would recommend is adding more washers and dryers. they have two sets which stay pretty occupied a lot of the times. as far as the cabins i believe they have various sizes but some of our family stayed in one of the smaller ones and said it wasn't worth the price due to the height of the ceiling was almost touching her head.

Keith and his wife are some of the most generous, Godly people that I know. Keith has worked so hard to make his park safe, beautiful, and a place of rest for family's to come and enjoy. He has cared deeply about families being able to get back to a simpler time and enjoy the beauty around us that God has given us. Cambree, I know for a fact that you and your mom felt that the park is safe because your mother has left you alone many, many times to go to work in another town 45 min away and those people above that you have spoken so rudely about have cared for you, looked after you, fed you, and have been there for you and your mother on many occasions. You and your mother have stayed on Keith's property for over 2 years now. I wonder if she even knows that you wrote this review, but you would probably lie about that too. You are a thirteen year old child. How terrible that you would get on here with the lies that your spreading about some very dear people who are running a business is beyond wrong. For you to lie and potentially ruin someone's name and livelihood is so incredibly distasteful, and just shows how young, immature, and rude you are. I pray that anyone that reads your post will realize it's written by a thirteen year old, malicious teenage girl and doesn't put any real stock in it. Anyone that is thinking of visiting, please don't let the negative review above make your decision. These people are the most wonderful, real people. Keith vets every family and camper that wants to visit his park fully. The park is clean, and Keith makes sure to fix any complaints that has ever been brought to his attention. There are park rules that he expects his campers to follow and he is very upfront about what those are. Keith is a man of his word and cares so much about people and their families. I imagine the review about will hurt him deeply and he would never want anyone to think this of him. If you want to visit a place where you enter as strangers, and leave knowing lifelong friends and feel welcome forever, Trails End Outdoors is the place to come. Trails End will always be a beautiful campground with so much love. Keith is displaying the very image of what Jesus tells us to be and do by the way he accommodates and makes people feel like family and right at home- love thy neighbor.
