I really like the atmosphere of this place! I came in here last week with my friend Kate while we were waiting for a table to open at The Battery. There was a football game going on so there was no more parking in the lot, and we had to park further away. There's lots of TVs, a golf simulator, drinks, and food. This place seemed really fun and enjoyable. I would highly recommend.

Fun atmosphere! You can get food next door and you can be entertained with a pool table and a golf simulator inside the pub.

I really enjoyed this place.. I went in for happy hour today with some friends. The area: the restaurant area is a open concept with garage doors, for kind of an indoor outdoor entertaining type place. They don't have a ton of tables, there is a lot of standing-room. It's super spacious. The bar: you have to order at the bar. They have lots of beer and drink options. I asked the cashier if they had a happy hour and she said no. However, when I called I was told that they do... not sure what happened there. I ordered a sour patch beer which was 7.50 for the glass. Food: they do not serve food and do not have a functional kitchen. Off The Hook food truck was there when we went. I ordered the salmon salad for $12.50. It was pretty good. I'd definitely go back to try other menu items. The waitress did mention that they plan to have a kitchen within the next year. Temp/noise: because the garage doors were open the temp inside was the temp outside... today was comfortable. They do have a band that plays. The natural volume/noise in the place was loud but not uncomfortable. Its family friendly. Oh pets were there, too!

    Loving this food!

Excellent food! I love the burgers! I can't wait to go back! Great location and Great service! Kudos!

What a neat little place tucked away in the heart of Homewood. The crowd doesn't seem too large, staff is friendly, and the beer selection is great. Whether you're a runner, enjoy quick bar food, the social scene or even enjoy pool, then this is the place for you. Oh and let's not forget that the staff is always friendly and the prices very reasonable. Glad place to bring your friends and relax.

Noah and cannon are two very attentive workers. Noah keeps you laughing and Cannon keeps your drinks filled. Great environment. Very friendly and upbeat. Definitely recommend coming to grocery brew pub. Ask for cannon or Noah.

When I walked in they handed me the full menu... and then immediately told me I couldn't order from it. Apparently they're running on a very limited menu right now, which consisted of maybe three or four things. Bit of a letdown since I came specifically because I saw pictures of their smash burger and had dreams about it on the drive over. Instead I settled for the tacos, which were actually pretty tasty. No real complaints there. The drinks leaned pretty sweet, which makes me think there's a heavy hand with the syrups. The space itself is very small. It's decorated nicely, but you'll definitely feel like you're accidentally best friends with the people sitting next to you. The staff was fine overall, but very close and boisterous with each other. In a room that small, if one of the servers has the cackle of a woman who skins Dalmatians on the weekends... maybe don't pair her up with the funniest coworkers on the planet. All in all, a fine experience but not ideal. Call ahead if you actually want access to the full menu.

Want to splurge on a smashburger or go light with a salad? Want some sports television on three big screens? You know the answer by now. Lunch menu is served all day and they have a weekly dessert (I forgot to ask, I failed the mission darnit) . Very personable and small space - less than 30 seats in the house - so be prepared for the close quarters if you have a larger party. For hubby and I we had the perfect spot for two and enjoyed the industrial touches. Bathrooms were in the back, single rooms, and they were well taken care of and beautifully arranged. Thank you as always Birmingham.

But we'd spent the day at McWane Center and we were starving so we were there to EAT! The food looked gorgeous but it tasted very meh. The onion rings had too much breading on them, which I didn't think was possible, but here we are. The part of the breading next to the onion was mushy so that threw off the texture of the whole thing too. The burger was very much like a Whataburger. Even the lettuce smelled the same. I got The Standard and the bun of the burger was a little mushy (similar to Whataburger) and there was not much meat. For an $11 burger, I'm expecting more than a Whataburger. My middle kid likes everything on her burger and isn't picky at all and the loaded kid burger looked impressive but it was about the same as mine. Not awful, but not very good either. Very close to the same amount of meat. She's the queen of the Clean Plate Club and she only ate half. The fries were good but a somewhat too salty, the dip that came with the onion rings was excellent and we ended up using it for the fries. We had 2 adults and 3 kids and our meal was $63 before tip for 5 waters, 2 adult burgers, 2 kid burgers, a kid grilled cheese, and a basket of fries and onion rings (I thought I was ordering a "side" of fries, not realizing I actually ordered a basket and it was a lot of fries and onion rings). We don't mind spending money on good food, but the prices here don't align with what you get. No one was more disappointed than me, I've been wanting to eat here for FOREVER!!!

Seated immediately and ready to take your order as soon as you decide. The Standard Burger (Lettuce. tomato, onion, pickles, horsey sauce & american cheese) is really good. I have had The Three Hander sandwich (Niman ranch corned beef, fries, tomato, jalapenos, creamy slaw, dijonaise, mozzarella on sourdough) from their original location which is great too. I should probably try other things as well but the lunch deal is hard to pass up. Since it is not too far from my office, will definitely continue to be a part of my regular lunch rotation. Only downside for me is the parking. There are limited spots on the street out front. Not sure if the artificial turf is always there or left from the Masters viewing. But it was nice. Downside to the area is it can be heavy traffic as it also serves as the entrance. My most recent visit I chose the South of the Border Rollup (Smoked turkey, provolone, lettuce, southwestern sour cream served zesty salsa) with a side of Fries. The Southwestern Sour Cream apparently was detained by the border guards because I tasted no evidence of it which left me with a mundane basic turkey and cheese rolled up in a tortilla. It was salvaged by a combination of the ranch I had with my highlight of the meal Fries mixed with the salsa. The Fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned just right with a touch of salt.
