The BLT with homemade chips was great. Red fish very good. Didn't care for the fried okra, to tough and hard to eat. Service was great, our server was very nice. Love the atmosphere. Great choices of wines.

Been here a few times and every time they have exceeded the expectation. It's that perfect spot to unwind on a Friday afternoon after work. This time we arrived on time for their social hours, which means certain drinks are $2 off. This time we got the ceviche, which was super fresh and just flavorful. The meatball sampler, with the sauce alone, is amazing. The meatballs are a bit on the dry side. I also got the Teja Salad with no protein. It was so flavorful and on the spicy side, but it was an overall great meal. I also tried the spicy margaritas, which was 10/10. Their red sangria was okay, and their peach Rum drink. My favorite of all 3 was the spicy watermelon margaritas. This spot has a super chill and kickback vibe, and it's family-friendly with amazing service. Highly recommend it.

Service and ambiance was great, waitress was very attentive. We started off with the bruschetta, and we really loved the apple and strawberry ones. The prosciutto was also good, but not as good as the fruity ones. I had the migas for brunch and added chorizo, it was very delicious. The eggs, beans, and potatoes all had so much flavor. My boyfriend had the grove hash, which was ok to me. It was lacking flavor in my opinion, and my boyfriend agreed. Overall we would like to come back for dinner!

First time at The Grove on Wood Hollow... we received a very warm welcome. Immediately striking is the airyness of restaurant and ample space amongst tables. Also the restaurant has a modern, cosmopolitan vibe. Vibrant colors, clean architectural lines and a good balance of artificial and natural light are highlights of The Grove. There are several unique wine bottles displays and an empty wine bottle display at the entry. In addition, there is this Picasso-like mural at the entry way of restroom area and eclectic wallpaper. We both ordered the smashed burger. So yummy...this was the first time I've eat a burger when the meat is bigger than the potato bun. The burger was juicy and seasoned well along melted cheese...a welcomed addition. This burger is 5 out 5 with crispy housemade chips. We learned from Ashley, our very knowledgeable and attentive server, this location will be one year old in June. We wondered why we just noticed this location recently. Importantly, The Grove is supporting child abuse prevention. A portion of their proceeds this month will go to the Center for Child Protection. It is commendable when businesses give back to the community where they operate. Overall, a very good dining experience...

One of their newer locations is easy to get to and much closer to me. The outdoor seating so relaxing and there is a lot of outdoor seating. They had giant fans blowing on you to mimic a nice spring breeze. Staff were attentive and friendly. Parking is plenty with overflow across the street. Prices for brunch are great! Our food was delicious. I just wanted a classed eggs benedict and my friend's loaded toast was even better (lotsa arugula, perfectly tossed in dressing). Enjoyed catching up outdoors. They are known for their wine flights, so I'll be back for that.

Finally made it out to one of the locations of The Grove and it really exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere felt lively, fresh and modern with both a very nice outdoor patio area and upscale but relaxed bar/dining space. My party ordered various drinks, the bacon wrapped quail and redfish ceviche for appetizers, and then an array of entrees. Really everything I had I can't think of any critiques for; they were really dishes that were put together very well. Very balanced, fresh and flavorful. They were also very good about allergies, accommodating my avoidance of gluten, dairy and eggs. When I asked about specials and heard that the daily was a salad, I initially didn't take it very seriously -- but once she described it in detail, I was already changing my tune, with it genuinely sounding like a great salad. I ordered it, and would easily order it again. It was substantial, had high amounts of chicken, was a very balanced and healthy meal, and the flavor was on point. I'd say the highlight was actually the tortilla strips sprinkled in. They were heavily seasoned with chile and lime, really providing constant bursts of savory flavor in every bite. Overall my party had a good time and left with a very positive impression.

What a lovely little neighborhood gem. The patio is absolutely beautiful, I love all the trees and lights, it gives a perfect mood for a work happy hour or a date! Anything goes! The menu is gluten free (for the most part) and the servers are quick to ask if there are any dietary restrictions or allergies to work with. The small bites are plated nicely and taste even better, and the wine flights are just fun! Highly recommend. And I love that this place is so close to home.

went to the grove over easter weekend for the first time. the service was ok, the waiter checked on us a few times but felt a little rushed although there were only 6 tables around. the pizza was amazing, we got the hot honey sausage one. the wine was also very good. we sat on the patio which was very nice and they had good music playing in the background. would recommend for a date night out, it's also very close to the bars if you wanted to grab a drink after!

As of this writing, there's less than 10 reviews and really nothing in the way of complaints other than high prices. I came here with some coworkers on a Wednesday at 6 PM and already every single parking space in the spacious lot was taken. They do have an overflow lot across the street, and I was able to find a spot there. Walking in, you find the place (especially the bar) to be quite the hive of activity. I found the bathroom situation to be quite unique with one communal sink outside with just one family bathroom and three women's restrooms. For you wine fans, you'll be very pleased to know they have a very extensive wine menu and even sell flights of wine. If you're coming here with a large group, there's only one area off to the side that is semi private, otherwise you'll be seated in the loud dining room or there's lots of shady seating outside. I have to admit the food here is very good and the service is very much on point. We tried a variety of their appetizers along with their pizza and it was all between four and five stars. By in large, they're quite capable of handling a packed restaurant and bar efficiently. It's a great place to enjoy drinks with friends and dinner, just expect a full house. Informative photos included for more insight.

Steak salad minus the cucumbers and with oil and vinegar on the side rather than the salad dressing it comes with normally.

A new business acquaintance suggested we meet there and when we walked in, it was surprisingly empty. The manager was our server and he shared some history as he recently took over operating this location a year or so ago. He was well versed in wines and their wines were lower in sulfites so they were less tannic/dry, which is typically my preference in wines. He suggested a wine flight options if we wanted to try different wines, which was nice. We each told him our typical preferences and he created a custom flight for us. To me they were lighter and less bold than I prefer but it was good to try a few different kinds. She had two whites and two reds. I had four different reds. They have limited food options (i.e., two) so we ordered the hummus that was pictured with bread but they were out so they offered pita chips instead, which were fine. He did say that even though they had limited food options, we could order from El Dorado next door and they would walk it over when it was ready, which is very cool even though I typically don't think of Mexican food and wine going together. :-) The overall presentation of the food and glasses was more basic than I would have expected from a wine shop since I've done several wine tastings before, but the location is great and I look forward to checking it out again soon and trying some different wines!

Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.

They have happy hour 5-6 pm and we got the hummus half off! The hummus was so good. I love the pepper oil on top that gives it a little kick. It comes with pita bread but if you order more, it's an extra $3. We also got croquetas (ham and cheese fritters). There are four of them and they are sooo delicious!! This is a must get especially if you love warm and creamy stuff. The outside is nicely fried and if you never had it, it's similar to Japanese takoyaki. Although I love it a lot, the portion was just right for sharing because it really fills you up. We also got the potatoes (nice, but nothing that blew my mind) and chicken empanadas that I thought had a strange, sour taste. I wouldn't get that again. I highly recommend getting different tapas instead of the main courses so you can try different things. We were completely satisfied with the meal after getting these but still made room for the orange almond cake!! This was extraordinarily good!! Not too sweet and the cake has a nice moist texture-not dry. It took a while for food to arrive so service was a bit slow. You can also sit outside if you want but we sat indoors since it was chilly. It's a smaller restaurant so it's nice for an intimate meal or date. They have a bar. There's parking in the back, which is where the entrance is. Btw, this is also on inKind so I got to claim $25 off $50.

A Truly Unforgettable "Big" Birthday Celebration at Gusto…read more With Amber's help, I had an unforgettable "big" birthday celebration at Gusto in November 2024. I sent a personal thank-you email right after the event but realized I hadn't shared my experience publicly, so I wanted to ensure I did! Amber went above and beyond to make the evening an OUTSTANDING experience--from the thoughtful planning and preparation to the impeccable service and, of course, the exceptional food. Everything exceeded my expectations. Initially, I was concerned about selecting the right main course options for such a large group, but Amber's guidance was spot-on. She helped me choose the perfect Antipasti and Insalata options (the Fritto Misto was a standout), and then assisted in narrowing down the three main course choices--Lasagna, Alla Crema, and Texas Redfish. She even offered vegetarian options for the Lasagna and Alla Crema, ensuring that all my guests had something they could enjoy. Every single person found a dish they loved and truly enjoyed their meal. Amber was also a "partner in crime" when other members of my party wanted to surprise me with a singing telegram. :) I can't thank Amber enough for her attention to detail and for making everything run smoothly. Analise, our main server, was also phenomenal. As meetup event organizers, many of us have dined at many Austin restaurants and encountered our fair share of servers. But Analise truly stood out. She handled our large group with grace and efficiency, attending to every request without being intrusive. Her timing was flawless, and her attentiveness made everyone feel well taken care of--something rare and special in the restaurant industry. My guests complimented the service and the overall experience. I can't thank Amber and the entire Gusto team enough for making my birthday celebration such a memorable occasion. There's a reason our group has returned to your restaurant several times already, and we'll definitely be back with more friends in the future. Their hospitality and service are unmatched!

For the main, my friends got lasagna and bolognese, which they both liked. I got the quiet and absolutely loved it. I would definitely go there again and highly recommend Gusto.

My group was given two boats for a very roomy experience with canopies for lots of shade if desired (but these were pulled back at night to enjoy the stars), there was even shaded areas on the lake (if you want to sip a cocktail with the boat shading you) on a lillypad to float if desired. The lake breeze and the wind as the boats cruised make it completely cool both on the lake and on the floating tavern. A rental of time at Floating Tavern is completely an experience that feels like you are out of the United States. It is so exotic! They cater your day totally to what you want to do. Want jet skis? Fine. Want to go cliff diving? Fine. Want to just cruise the lake or take a trip with music? That works too. Just chill out sipping a cocktail on a lillypad or floating? Go for it. Once your water time and cruise time is completed, the real fun begins. With expert captains having given us a great lake tour, we pulled up to the floating tavern and that was just incredible. I brought electric candles for the table to level up the experience a bit but they did it all so well with or without them and it was so roomy even for our large group! They had dimmed lights for ambiance, a mixologist squeezing fresh juices for us for amazing drinks she made with the alcohol we brought, (their alcohol package may be easier next time as it is very affordable) and we had two chefs creating small bites for us hot and cooked right there on the tavern as the sun set and we were surrounded only by lake and stars, docked right there in the middle of the lake. The service was exemplary and far beyond our expectations of fun and being catered to. You can bring some of your own food too to make a full party if desired. The communication leading up to the event was exceptional and I'll be honest, I would much rather book this experience with friends a few times a year then ever buy a boat. It is the best lake experience and lake dining you will ever have and the hosts are a huge part of the fun of the day. True experts at what they do and we are a group of well traveled, well dined foodies (including two professional chefs) and we were completely wowed at our evening. It's the vibe that gets you.
