I've only had to wait a few times too long, but understandable when emergencies arise. After going to the urology clinic in Ormond Beach, not this one, but the one with all the doctors…read morethat is one of the worst hell holes on earth, and then after going to the chain in Daytona Beach which was even worse if that is possible, I finally found Dr. Schneider. After the other place in Daytona which doesn't answer the phone for hours and is extremely dirty, I went here and found out I never had a UTI to begin with and they have been treating me with antibiotics for months at that other place and I never needed them at all. They did a catheter catch here to make sure it wasn't contaminated and it was negative and they had a great attitude. I highly recommend this place and highly highly recommend to stay away from the Daytona urologist on Health Road and also the one right near this office for Florida urology in ormond beach. This is the only place to go for me and I'm very grateful for Dr. Schneider.

I had an appointment scheduled to go over test results that I was bringing with me, and I was…read moreshocked to be told I would need to pay $350 before they would see me. My insurance was covering $150, which I felt should have been more than reasonable for an appointment that was simply to speak with the doctor about my results. No additional testing or procedures were scheduled. I even asked if a Zoom or virtual appointment was an option, but I was told they do not offer that. I then asked if they could simply bill the remaining balance to my insurance company, but I was told that was not their policy. Without paying the difference upfront, they would not see me. If it costs $350 out of pocket just to have a conversation with the doctor about an abnormal Pap result, I can only imagine what the cost would be for the actual testing and procedures. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that the priority was payment rather than patient care. I have already scheduled an appointment with another office, and they confirmed that they do not have this same policy. I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you choose to go here, be prepared to open your wallet or you will not be seen.

I had to wait forever each time and no WATER is even allowed in the waiting room (they make me give it to them because the place is crawling w kids. I have health insurance but he takes medicaid (nothing against that) but many people taking the bus there with many children and it's Busy! So when I book my latest appointment they say he's retiring. I ask if he's sick because he's in his 50's according to all the websites and she won't answer me. (he is obese and looks awful- you can do a google search but I don't know if he's sick or not- he sure looks it) so they tell me they are moving but book my appointment January 3rd. I then get a call right around Christmas (gee how nice) WEEKS after booking to tell me they cannot see me because they're only doing OB appts now and no GYN unless it's OB GYN.
