For a small town salon, Mizu is surprisingly huge and also has a full spa service. We came here for…read morehair and makeup for our friend's wedding and they were super quick with everything. My stylist (forgot her name) was really friendly and on point with the style I wanted. She had the courtesy to ask if I wanted extra pouf or a natural pouf at the crown of my head, which not many places ask. A lot of them just add an extra layer pouf without asking and especially for Asian hair, it looks extremely awkward. I also liked the way she did the curls..it wasn't big curls but natural looking thin curls. The makeup session was fun too but I definitely had a little trouble picking up the make-up artist's heavy Irish accent. I think there were times where I completely ignored her questions without knowing she was asking me something. Sorry about that! But overall, she did excellent make-up and it lasted throughout the night. Side note: This was a recommended salon by the staff at the Crowne Plaza. If you happen to stay at the Crowne, they offer special hair and make-up wedding packages with Mizu. We didn't get the package due to logistics so ended up paying a la carte.
