Lastly for desert i had the profiteroles the chocolate sauce over it was thick and extremely rich and the cream inside was satisfying! In conclusion if you love italian and great service then go to The Flying Pasta just make sure you bring some cash to tip! They deserve it.

What makes HOMESLICE stand out is the ability to mix and match toppings on each half of a whole pizza, making it perfect for sharing and trying different flavour combinations. I went with the Salami, Rocket & Parmesan slice, which was loaded with toppings and packed with flavour, while my wife kept it classic with a Margherita slice. The slices are massive, yet the pizza remains light, crisp, and easy to eat. With its relaxed atmosphere, communal seating, and prime location near Covent Garden, HOMESLICE is an excellent stop when you need a quick bite between London attractions.

It's a beautiful dining area under a high ceiling with wooded beams. We very much enjoyed the view of the castle from our table. The service was professional and polite. We knew exactly what we wanted. The Ploughman's Platter is usually a quick & easy lunch. We only had about 45 minutes before meeting our tour group for the trip back to the port. It was an easy decision. So, we've had many Ploughman's lunches over the years at various pubs around the UK. I must say that this was the best and heartiest plate we have ever received. The honey-glazed gammon was a thicker cut. We kept commenting to each other about it. Everything was presented beautifully. It had a slice of white cheddar along with a salad, apple slices, and a seeded wheat bread. Everything was so fresh and tasty. We added the stilton cheese, but honestly didn't need it even though it was delicious. We were definitely overloaded with cheese. Haha! My husband made himself a stilton cheese sandwich with the bread. He also really liked the chutney & mustard relish. The salad was dressed very well. I just wish we had more time to savor it all. It was such a great meal! We didn't get to finish it all. That's on us. We shouldn't have ordered an additional cheese. It's just that the stilton brings back memories of a soup and a cheeseburger that we had back in the day. We left the restaurant very satisfied. It was a beautiful & memorable day for us. I highly recommend a stop here for lunch or dinner when at Leeds Castle.

I must admit that I've haven't heard any bad reviews about this restaurant and after dining there last night I can thoroughly recommend it, the service is unhurried and very polite. They offer a choice from different daily lunch and evening set menus or al carte. I opted for the latter and for the first course I chose Pan Fried Scallops with Minted Pea Puree, Asparagus & White Truffle Oil, which were cooked just right, for my main course I chose the Fillet of Scottish Beef with Cafe de Paris Butter, Vine Cherry Tomatoes & Pont Neuf (Pont Neuf is a bridge in France, but on the plate its thrice fried short chunky chips! Chef's license I suppose) The fillet was cooked to my liking, although the chips (Pont Neuf's) were cooked well, slightly al dente, but I prefer them crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. For dessert I chose Hot Chocolate Fondant with Pistachio Ice Cream & Butterscotch Anglaise, the fondant was overcooked almost resembling a sponge, the pistachio ice cream was delicious and contained a mint leaf concealed within and the mixture of pistachio and mint felt odd, but as they combined with each other your taste buds new told you this was right. The batter was a deep golden colour, and honestly, I've had lighter, airy-er batter. However the fish inside was moist and flakey and tasty. The chips were chunky, golden with the right mix of crispy and soft. I did think that it was a tad expensive, at first, but that was before seeing a battered cod the size of my face!
