Hangry Bison is a nice warm feeling walking into the building with the lighting bringing it all together. Our server name was Taylor and she was amazing and easy to talk too. Now let's get into the food- The fries were delicious with a good seasoning on them and thickness but the downside is they were not cooked all the way through with a crispy to them 8.5/10 for the fries. The burger I did the build your own and got Short rib burger (Medium), smoked Gouda, Ranch, lettuce, tomatoes, spinach's on a Texas toast. The Texas toast bun was amazing with a soft top and bottom buttery 10/10. The burger itself was thick, tasty and juicy perfect Medium but the only downside is that their is no seasoning on the burger that would of enhance the cheese on the burger but more importantly the burger as a whole 7/10. The cheese cake was amazing and crumbly, soft, melted in your mouth with the wiped cream and strawberry made it even better and my friend singed me happy birthday. 9/10 I would gladly come back here and eat again and so should you.

Service was top notch. Thank you for that. They sweet potato fries were so good too. Surprisingly the ranch was my favorite part. It was a home run. The bison burger was decent too. Would try other things on the menu

I have to say, I hoped for a little bit of a better experience here. That said, it was still a solid 4.5/5. Food: Sweet potato fries at amazing, 10/10. Truffle fries are not that great, especially for $8. I'd give them a 4/10. As far as the burgers go, I wanted to love them, but they just weren't amazing. The brioche bun was dry on mine. The pretzel but was good on my wife's though. The toppings were good and the flavor combinations were good, although nothing crazy. As far as the bison patties, they were only OK, and that's what disappointed me. They seemed drier than I would have expected, and the flavor was quite bland. Having tried thousands of burgers over my lifetime, these were not at all remarkable to me. Overall, I'd rate it a 6/10, maybe a 7. The service was awesome. Absolutely no complaints. Water was filled constantly and we were never left abandoned. 10/10. Ambiance was very cool. It felt rustic but sophisticated. The outdoor seating options are nice for a pleasant day. They have a small bar area as well if you just want to grab a quick bite. In summary, I wasn't blown away by the burger, but I liked the restaurant overall. I plan to come back for their happy hour to try out some of their other menu items.

After making the rounds through Winter Park Village eateries, finally gave Hangry Bison a try before hitting up the nearby movie theater and was impressed with my Bison Burger! My friends ordered some different options and left equally pleased but I definitely recommend you go bison! Stay on brand! It makes for a lean but juicy burger. For starters, I found the service to be friendly, and quick but not rushed! The food was delivered within about ten minutes of us placing the order which was convenient considering we were catching a movie. Our server checked in once or twice and did ask us about dessert but we were quite full so, I'll aim for dessert next visit. The space is casual and comfy so perfect for a casual bite or grab pre/post movie!

My group was looking for a chill spot to grab a bite and a drink after attending the Winter Park Christmas Parade. We were trying to avoid the Park Ave., as it was crowded with spectators. So, the closest thing was Winter Park Village. I have never been to The Hangry Bison and it was pretty good. My group got burgers but I ordered from their brunch menu. The burgers were good and you had the option to build your own. i wasn't a huge fan of the Fried Green Benedict, which used fries green tomatoes as the base instead of a muffin. It was too much fried items for me. Their beer selection was pretty good with some local options as well.

I have never in my life had a burger this good before. The restaurant was so clean and well lit and our server I think her name was Mayci was great! I did the build your own burger with the ribeye patty, bourbon glaze, smoked gouda, bacon, avocado and onion straws and it was DELICIOUS. I could taste EVERYTHING and it was so seasoned and well cooked. I had the grilled corn as my side and that wasnt good to me it needed to be crispier but the corn was too soft in my opinion but the burger outshined everything. I would HAPPILY come back here!

Love love love Hangry Bison. I really like a wedge salad but I hate having to chop it so I rarely order it. Enter the Hangry Bison.. they chop it and you don't even have to ask!! Bravo! Our sever was awesome. The restaurant is up to the regular high standards... clean, bright and open. Always enjoy our visits here.

Always a great time. Perfectly located in winter park village so you can wonder around or accidentally end up getting ice cream after. They have a great burger which is their signature dish. The have amazing truffle fries and cheese curds , pretzel bites. It very much elevated bar food. The cocktail are so we'll done, I have never had one I haven't liked. They do also have dessert if you don't feel like moving after the delicious burger. The staff is usually super friendly and well versed in the menu to answer any questions.

I came for a private event on a Wednesday evening. Our area was separated from most diners and fairly quiet despite a busy week night. Our server was friendly and quick with orders. I had seen on Instagram that the burger of the week was a caprese burger which I was excited to try! It was good, I don't feel that it was worth $26. The other burgers on the menu were around $18/$19 so I was quite surprised to see $26 for the burger of the week. The truffle fries and my drink were delicious!

This was my second time there. We waited a few minutes to get a seat and then they tried to seat us where the air conditioner was actively dripping on. Not cool. Got the table next to That. The food was pretty good and the service was excellent. While we were there the restaurant tried to sit some people at the seat we refused, but I warned them and they got a different seat.

Been here a couple times. Their tag line is burgers and bourbon and neither disappoint. They have 8 options for the burger, 4 different rolls or get it in lettuce wrap, plus a bunch of toppings. They also have a some salads and other entrees. The burgers are well made and you won't be disappointed. And roughly $20 for a burger and fries is a decent deal for a restaurant. Next they have a wall of bourbon. They go from Jim Beam all the way up to rare $500 a pour options. If you like bourbon, this is the place for you. They had a bottle of Eagle Rare so I was super happy to get a sit of that! Staff were all great. Plenty of indoor and outdoor dining. A few TVs above the bar. Overall, a good place to hang out in Winter Park.

    Brittany N.

Pros: Location is perfect, right there in the middle of the busy part of the Winter Park Village. Ambiance indoors is very cool. Very whiskey barrel wooden, and large garage doors everywhere to let the fresh air in. Best burgers in town, now that Teak has closed down. You want an Orlando burger, come here. Cons: Service has always been a little questionable, but not exactly bad, and it must be hard to get all the components of every burger right all the time. No other cons really. Tips: Skip the pork rind nachos. They sound fun, but the execution is a little lackluster. Any burger is delicious. You can't go wrong.

Lots of options near Regal movie theater, but no wait on a weeknight helped make our decision. Quickly seated, orders came out fresh including a build your own. Everyone enjoyed their burgers, a bit messy, but loaded with flavor. The sweet potato fries were so good, the cinnamon butter was a great addition to dip. Would definitely go back!

Brunch Review 2026!…read more It's a Saturday in late April 2026 and the Orlando Magic are taking on the #1 rated Detroit Pistons! My brother and I deliberate days before on meeting up and with little hesitation, we opted for the Ravenous Pig! Securing a table reservation we instead opted to sit on the pub side where the TVs are. Soon after sitting down, we were greeted by Christina who was our server for the afternoon! Now this is Brunch Mode at the Ravenous Pig with a brunch style menu and beautiful rays on Sunshine which can feel quite different if you're used to having meals or drinks here for dinner where it can be quite busier and a different vibe! Today's visit was comfortable in the pub, lite in the dining room floor and nearly full outside in the beer garden. I settled in with the current version of the Gin and Jam! It tends to change as products become available with the underlying truth being a lite and refreshing cocktail to start with. This version is well done overall! Food wise we started with the Croquettes which had a sausage in them which brought good flavor paired with the crunchy exterior and white sauce on the plate resulted in an appetizing dish. Continuing on, the Sparkling Tea on menu is fantastic! As a side beverage or even mocktail form, it's a great Bev. We went with that and with the Magic game about to start, I went with the IT GOES TO ELEVEN cocktail! Boozy, Bright and Veracious! With these drinks in hand, we decided to move forward with more food and after consulting with Christina, we went with the Huckleberry pancake and the miso butter ribs. Without a doubt, the Huckleberry pancake was the standout star of the two dishes! A light pancake with great flavor and depth that doesn't fill you up but is a great sweeter dish that I can see Incorporated with a more savory brunch item like bacon and eggs as an example. Overall a great time for brunch! Shout out to Brian, Costa (the GOAT) and Scott for keeping it real and just being great individuals overall!

The snapper collar tacos were the star of the show. Easily enough to share between two people, with fresh fish and really good homemade corn tortillas. The fish of the day was also excellent and the fresh ciabatta with garlic butter was hard to stop eating. The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. The chicken salad was just alright, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Parking can be a little tough in the area, but the complimentary valet makes it much easier. I love that they have a quicker option out back with the beer garden, you can't go wrong!

I got a cheese board, truffled fries, fried chicken caviar, and a deviled affogato for dessert. My date for the creste di gallo and the olive oil citrus cake. Everything was was very good, with the standout being the fries; I know that truffle essence flavor isn't for everyone but it worked really well for me in the fry sauce. My dates pasta was also very good, the pesto sauce was zesty and complimented it well. And I really like the olive oil cake with mascarpone, super light and perfectly sweet. The very minor issues were that the fried chicken was pretty deeply fried and way harder than expected, which I don't mind but may not be your thing. Devil's food cake at the bottom of the affogato was also not as sweet as I would have liked. Overall a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend.

The location had complimentary valet as the street parking can be a little challenging in this area so that was a huge plus. We enjoyed their half price wine glasses during golden hour, such a great offering. From the start of our meal to the end, the food was exceptional. What made it even more of an experience was the awesome waiter (Merlin) we had. He went above and beyond to take care of us. Started with the crab dip and little toasts and it was great, high quality crab (not fishy) and cheesy! Would highly recommend. He recommended the special for the day which I ordered and holy crap, it was amazing. Huge grouper cooked to perfection with a light curry and creamy corn sauce that had just the right heat. All of this over some jasmine rice... we were in heaven. Parents got a fried grouper sandwich that was huge, and had their amazing wedge salads. My brother got the pork chop that had a perfectly sweet exterior, mashed potato's and carrots. We ordered the hummingbird cake and it had so much flavor with the cream cheese frosting and toasted pecans. Our waiter surprised my brother with their butter cake that was cooked to melt in your mouth. If you want to explore Ivanhoe Village area and want an incredible meal or snack, head to this place. We can't wait to go back and try some other items.

We found The Pinery and wanted to give it a trial. The only spot open was at 4:30 pm, so we made the reservation and showed up, valet parking and came in. We were sat immediately. The hostess seemed stressful, without any smiles, she took away 2 out 4 silverware and plate sets on our table for a party of 3. 12 minutes went by. The crowded dining room had 2 servers. A booth of 6 next to us were waiting for their drinks patiently. I finally got up and let the hostess know that nobody stopped by. She said someone would be with us soon. About 4.minutes later, a lady stopped, said sorry, and took our drink orders, a Pineapple Sugar, a Macha Mojito, and a glass of Napa Valley Chardonnay. She also brought us 3 glasses of water. More servers started coming. Finally, Mark introduced himself, took our food orders. The food was delicious. We shared the Steamed Clams and Brie and Petal Honey. They were so good that we had to ask Mark fir extra crispy bread slides. For entrees, my wife had the Brussel Salad with Anchovy, and she loved it. My son had the Pork Chop while I tried the Crab Stuffed Salson. Excellent food and temperature. We were quite full for desserts, but Mark insisted, so we decided to order a Humingbird Cake and was informed that ithere was no more. Then we took the today's special, which was a strawberry pudding. It took 15 minutes to get the dessert with 3 spoons because, according yo Mark, they made a new patch. In my own opinion, this operation was not well prepared for a such busy Saturday on one of the busiest events. We saw the manager being the server assistant delivering food for his servers, while he was super friendly, and we and the servers appreciated him, he should have led his crew. For lack of leadership, I took away one star though Nark saved our dining experience. We plan to be back another time not during the chaotic holidays to see the real beauty of The Pinery.
