Everyone working is so rude and unfriendly. They don't greet you, they don't say thank you and it just doesn't have that cozy neighborly feel like it used to! Even my eight-year-old noticed how cold the staff is ! Their products have done nothing but skyrocket in price as well! Today will be my last visit after the rudeness we experienced at checkout! I'd rather go to Home Depot and buy plants for a third of the price and you can get the organic soil on Amazon for half the price ! At least at Home Depot they are friendly and they smile and you don't feel like they are judging you! :)

I walked in and immediately felt calm from the beautiful set up and all the gorgeous plants around us. Outside they also had a nice selection of outdoor perennials and annuals for the garden. It was hard not to want to buy up everything but in the end I settled on a new pottery book. I chatted a bit with the woman behind the counter and she was so welcoming and friendly. This spot is everything I want a shop like this to be.

She told my friend that there was a strict exchange policy, despite the fact that my friend was not told this when she checked out. She then added, with a more than unnecessary tone, "and, you need your receipt." Mind you, she never once asked if she had it with her in her shopping bag (which she did). I've worked in customer service for years. Not once have I treated a customer with that kind of disrespect, regardless of how they spoke to me. As a smaller business, I urge you to do better. If I were the owner, I would truly be embarrassed to have an employee like that on my payroll.
