The real highlight here is the food, other hotels I've stayed at don't have very appetising food - Cruden bay is small so I expect there are not many other options for eating out. Thankfully this isn't necessary as the food here is great. I tried the 5 spiced duck and chicken risotto mains, both were excellent. My colleague ordered the fish and chips one night and it was huge! You can even get a second piece of fish if you like. All the main courses are big. Cooked breakfast is also very good.

For the area that this is in, the setting which was once nice but now the walls are bare. What has happened? Sad and upset by this visit, at least I was only dining with my mum and not trying to impress anyone!!
