I don't address my lowest functioning student in the tone of voice with such a superior air as I witnessed my octogenarian parents subjected to today. When the office staff was unable to answer a simple co pay question, my parents suddenly became even less competent. There was never a resolution. Nobody knew. What a disservice to a person on a fixed income. To add to this mistreatment, the young lady who was apparently in training in the receptionist position rolled her eyes when she thought the moment was right. Seriously? It would indicate that this is acceptable behavior according to the professional norms of the office, if the new person feels comfortable with this expression of her feelings. Where is the dignity for the elderly? Even the audiologist sounded like a kindergarten teacher. There is a way to present technical information without sounding like the play dough is our next activity.

The receptionist was nice, but very SLOW!! It only took 25 minutes of standing to get a paper filled out, information filled out on a tablet and a computer to break down then get rest again. I can only imagine why it's not so difficult for hackers to get info from companies so easy,(serious scarcasim) when you have to go through all this stuff just to get signed in. It was worth the wait, Dr. was amazing!!
