As I had such a simple dissolution. John must have been busy, because his case got forwarded to Chase Baker. First appt: Chase seemed like he heard everything we had said, there was even a point where they connected on a previous case involving my now fiancés daughter against ex wife's son (SA) and was the entire reason they were getting a divorce. Chase was the prosecutor for Richland county juvenile services at that time. So he had remembered my fiancés case and was equally as distraught that nothing ever came to. Chase filed the dissolution motion and from there it turned into a full blown divorce, during the divorce proceedings she had gotten involved with attorney Melissa tomello who is known to be a 'shark' in court. Chase basically laid down and let them take him for everything that he has and didn't. Never made her turn in financial statements of how much money she made. She withheld and changed her phone number and kept the kids from him for two months, he paid off her cellphone and she got a brand new one on His phone plan and put it on her own line but he had to pay off again a brand new phone for her, still had the son that wasn't to be around young kids around his young sons, and still never represented that in court. There were times before court where he had no idea where to go, when to report and getting him to answer an email or phone call was like pulling teeth. There was no Communication Unless it was a reply to back to back to back emails on my fiancés end being sent. Then when it came to court, he refused to actually fight and stand up for him as his client. So now almost a year later, someone who's son sexually abused my step daughter and the ex wife/ mother screaming from the roof tops that she's a liar is bringing home $478 in child support a week. And the father of this child, who has full custody of his daughter is barely scraping Penny's together to get by. Talking $300 a week on a 40 hr week. He will say child care costs but childcare is $280 a week for the other children (two sons) that they had together and both kids are not on formula or needing extra doctors appts etc. All this to say, I feel like the cause for recommending John because he was good to me, to getting his colleague who I assumed would be a direct reflection of him...only to find out this is not the case. They also handled transfer of the title for my brother's car and my father's car. My father's house was also deeded over to me. Finally, they recovered a certificate of deposit from my father's bank that I wasn't co-owner of and additionally recovered state and federal tax refunds that were in my father's name. Service-wise, they are pretty good at what they do and things were done in an efficient manner. Their office lobby is kind of small and decor is dated. They were flexible with me and I didn't have to come to their office every time. A lot of the paperwork they mailed to me and I was able to sign and return without even going to their office. This was convenient to me as I don't live in Crestline. I believe the value is fair considering what they had to do. I just wish they would've gave me some pointers when I did my father's taxes. None of this was ever mentioned during the transfer of assets. I think it should be mentioned because just because someone passes away doesn't absolve the survivors of filing a tax return. The lawyer and office staff are pretty friendly. It was convenient for me because they already had a copy of my father's will. I would recommend. One tip, having dealt with lawyers a few times: minimize your emails and phone calls when you can because lawyers charge for everything. That's been my experience anyways.

Now, I may sound like I am in sales, because I used to be. But I was not trying to reach them about their cars extended warranty - I was calling because I was in need of a contract lawyer. I called back immediately, and it went to the IVR where it listed different lawyers. I picked one that was on the name of the firm (assuming it was a partner), informed them of what happened, and told them the person answering the phone needed some remedial training in customer service; after all, why hang up on someone when they could be a prospective client? I received a call the next day, and I believe it was the lawyer that I left a message for. His words: "We do do contract law, but we're not interested in working for you." Apparently, he was offended by my voicemail, claims the person who answered the phone has worked for him for over a decade, and he has never had an issue with her before. Her record has been broken. Here is the thing. If a company treats prospective clients in this manner, I fear how they treat current clients. We had a few words, and then I promptly told him ORC 2917.21 and hung up. If you don't want to work with me, that's fine. If you want to hang up on people, that's fine too; after all, it is your law firm. However, in this day & age, with social media, reviews are not uncommon; favorable, and unfavorable. While I may not be an "influencer" with millions of followers, if anyone asks me if I know a lawyer - for ANY issue - I will be sure to steer them clear of this firm. Very unprofessional behavior.

I can't remember how long it was because of how bad my psychosis hit me in 2020 when i thought we were all going to die if we let anyone come near us. ultimately, i unintentionally led the police on a wild goose highway chase because i was in the first, worst and hopefully, last major psychotic episode of my life. The arrest videos i've transcribed show my psycho talk at the time of the arrest and how confused i am and completely disoriented from what is real and what is not. the video shows it with photos behind it. this is a sickness i am now able to control due to a brand new medication that just came out and now i can think coherently. For me to pay attorney Bernard Davis $5,000 and deposit $10,000 in bail money and receive no reduction from the original charge at all while having to deal with this condition every day is absolutely ridiculous. Who in their right mind, with a ridiculous amount of money (that he kept questioning if i had to my gf at the time because she had to call the bank to get my money. Sir, why would I not have money in the bank? That's why he didn't want to send the full records. why else? seriously. the full records would show how fast he jumped me to the highest dose of the only medication that is known to EXPLODE psychosis in individuals that already have it. Max dose was given right before the accident. I told you didnt I? Pull my records. You didn't. He was a bad doctor, he snaked himself perfectly around his liability that you never even considered. I couldn't help like i can now. Now I'm medicated and stable. He did wrong and so did the courts. The video speaks for itself and so does the doctor's note. Mens rea does not exist in this case by means of psychosis. An individual in psychosis is not aware of their actions and can easily hallucinate whatever it is they want to see in they're mind when they are alone, afraid and under great stress. The fact that i paid you $5,000 and this is where you left me, with a felony when a not guilty was perfectly justified and a true example of justice for the weak. Terrible.
