I found The Hi-Fi Shop online whilst sat in a hotel car park in Ogden with a dead car alarm fob and a very-much-alive car alarm sounder! I called to ask for advice, and the team were super helpful and talked me through exactly what I needed to do in order to try and get things working - even though at that stage I wasn't a customer as my system was installed years ago in another state. Once I managed to get the vehicle drivable I went straight to their location, and they took the time to put the vehicle in valet mode for me and talked me through the possible error causes. In the end the fob was the culprit, and they ordered me a new one and paired it for me for no extra charge when it arrived. Really appreciate the honesty and service with these guys. Went in for a keyless entry install, and was originally quoted 300-350 for keys and system install. After the job was complete they told me there was already a system installed in the vehicle. So they dropped the price in half to 180 for programing the keys and labor and cleaning the old system up. read more

I went in for a dashcam install. Very simple and professional service scheduling the install. The only issue I had was I had to detach the camera from the windshield and relocate it slightly because rear-facing cabin camera was blocked by the rear-view mirror. Great Customer Service!!!! We called last week to get a quote on tint for my Jeep and my sisters wrx and they gave us a quote me had us in on Friday. We dropped our vehicles off and they had us done in less than 3 hours. The tint was better than we expected, very dark in the rear and legal for the front. We really appreciate them for there dedication and work to our cars. I was really impressed. After going inside and talking to them they explained everything, and told us about there life time warranty and time us if we ever needed anything to make sure we call them. They even took the time to talk to my sister about her speakers and she went ahead and made an appointment for her Subie to get brand new speakers installed: so they was awesome. Awesome service! We just bought a used rv and took it out for its maiden voyage on Antelope Island. Unfortunately, the outside radio has issues and for some reason turned on at 11pm and would not turn off. Finally I just disconnected the speakers. I dropped by Hi Fi and they were so helpful. I always get (3) quotes on major purchase. Before purchasing a new sound system for my Suburban at the Hi-Fi Shop I did visit two other shops in the area. While they did give me the LOWEST cost by far for the type of system I was looking for; to be honest I would have went back there even if they were not. Cost is important for sure, but service and being quoted what you ask for are important also. I dealt with Nick for most of my stuff, but I have had interaction with several other people at the store and have been treated equally well by all. The installation of my system was top rate. I suggest you go here first and then just to ease your mind and make sure there is no doubt visit another shop/warehouse or two, this is the place. read more

Since moving to the area in the spring of this year, my husband and I have used this shop twice. Both times we were pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of the staff. However, our most recent visit (the second one) has compelled me to write a review. Without hesitation, I recommend this shop. Four years ago, I had a remote-start system installed in my vehicle. Since the install, there were a few times when I had to return the vehicle to the installer to have him fix the system because it stopped working. It was always a quick, simple fix (perhaps re-coding? -- I can't remember exactly); however since I'm no longer living in the state where the original installer's located when the system most recently stopped working, my husband took my vehicle to the Hi-Fi Shop in Roy and authorized them to put in a new system. The Hi-Fi technician realized he could fix the original system and not have to charge us for a new one. In doing so, he saved us $300. The honesty and integrity of this shop is impressive in itself, but to know not every shop would have done the same thing and that such honesty and integrity is possibly very rare compels me to give a public shout-out on this Yelp forum and let readers know you will get fair-dealing from this shop. My husband and I have no personal connection to the staff at this shop so I must assume this is this shop's way of doing business and ethical code with every customer. We're two grateful clients who won't use anyone but Hi-Fi in the future. read more
