The only complaint I have here is the parking lot as it is in dire need of resurfacing. Being next to the one of the storm channels, my guess the parking lot has been compromised. There is now a warning near the front entrance about a caution of breathing in cancer causing wood dust and other carcinogens. Once inside, it is somewhat well maintained. The garden supplies at this location is not as plentiful as other locations. Selections are okay, service is okay once you find someone, value is adequate. I did not find what really needed, a bug guard for my front door. I guess I need to check out a different store. read more

This Home Depot is conveniently located off the freeway, and they have ample space at the parking lot. They carry all kinds of the home essentials, furnitures, appliances, tools, etc. Their staff members are usually friendly, although not always available for help, and it's hard to navigate through some aisles as not all signs are clear. read more

We came here to get supplies to help with the Palisades Fire for our neighbors who were putting out small fires and scouting out the streets for our neighborhood. This place is junkyard! First of all, let me begin this review by saying that I am a fan of the Home Depot. Ever since they first opened, I have gone to the various Home Depot locations whenever I've needed something that this style of store offers. That being said, I have never had the experience that I had in the parking lot of this Home Depot before. The moment you drive into the parking lot of this Home Depot you are confronted with a bunch of men, with signs painted on the side of their trucks, trying to get you to hire them. Now I get it, these guys are just looking for a job, and there's nothing wrong with that. But, being solicited the moment you get out of your car by several individuals can become very trying. Worse than that, however, as I was walking towards the front door of this store, this guy tried to sell me crack. So, I guess this parking lot serves more purposes, then simply for people to park and go into the Home Depot. Then, when I was coming out, I noticed that the police had another guy up against the side of his van, and they were arresting him. What's going on with that, I don't know? But, just keep this in mind if you come to this location, as this is not a well-maintained and well-patrolled parking lot. Once inside the store, however, this is a great Home Depot. Very much like all the other Home Depot locations, the staff are all very nice, and they have a lot of stuff. In terms of square footage, this is probably one of the biggest Home Depot locations in the area. As I walked through the store, I noticed that they had a lot of items in stock. Items that some of the other Home Depot's in the Southbay do not have. We've been working on a big backyard project ordering lots of cement. We've had multiple orders at multiple Home Depot's in our area; ordering 15 to 18 bags of cement at a time. It's been time consuming and laborious!!! Today was the first time we had an amazing experience. JAC1TDK in customer service was familiar with the pro area, so when we came for our curbside pick up, he directed us to the pro area. He grabbed our order and with a forklift had us loaded in just a few minutes!!!!! Previously we were forced to move the bags by ourselves, one at a time, which exhausted us before we could even begin our project!!!! I'm a contractor who uses the Home Depot App to check on hand inventory before I go to a store to make use I don't waste my time. I wanted to purchase 42 cases of flooring worth about $2,800 and picked the Home Depot in Gardena because they had 171 on hand. There were only a few cases on the rack so I asked an employee by the name of JR for help in locating pallets of the flooring. I buy these all the time so I shared with JR the inventory count and asked if he could locate 2 pallets of the product for me (each pallet holds 28 cases). JR seemed annoyed from the start. He scanned the bar code and told me that my inventory was wrong and that he had less than 40 in stock. He walked around and located 1 pallet of the product and said I could have that plus what was on the shelf. I told him that I shop at Home Depot all the time and I've never experienced such a discrepancy on inventory. He claimed he was missing 130 cases!! at $60/case that is $8,000 worth of merchandise. I asked him to please double check and check "the back" for me. He said there was no backstock and if it wasn't in that isle then he doesn't have it. I told him I didn't think he was right and that I was going to go upfront and ask for a manager to find the rest. He said go ahead. We don't have it, all I can offer you is the pallet I have plus the few loose pieces. I walked up to the front customer service desk and was greeted by Melanie. I showed her the product on my App, she checked on her hand-held device and sure enough her inventory matched what I had!!! we walked to the isle behind the one JR checked and saw 4 pallets of it right away! I told her what JR told me and that his work ethic is unacceptable. She apologized and said she would take care of me. She proceeded to call someone with a forklift to bring 2 pallets down for me. I was approached by JR while I was waiting. He asked "so what do you want to do? Do you want the pallet?". I said "You know what? I went to the front and they found all of the inventory you couldn't. I have someone helping me, I don't want to deal with you because you are lazy and you were going to waste my time driving around town looking for flooring when it was sitting right under our noses". He said " I DON'T CARE I don't work for you. I'm not your employee". I told him it's obvious you don't care about your job or Home Depot because of the way you treat a customer. I can't believe you are talking to me like this I will complain about you and give you a bad review". He repeated "I DON'T CARE" even louder than the first time and walked towards me as to intimidate me and then walked away shouting "I'm not your employee...". Needless to say, I told Melanie about the interaction and asked to speak to a manager. My pallets arrived a few minutes later so I never got the chance to speak to a manager about JR's behavior, but I was assured a manager was made aware of what happened. What's up: One of the springs for our garage door broke and we were looking for a replacement part. Went through 5 Home Depots and after several canceled orders, the Gardena one confirmed that they had it! Finally!! Parking: The lot was busy for 8 am. You got your standard day workers lined up near the entrance and they have their Christmas tree lot located towards the back. Environment: Masks are required. Since we placed an online order, we went straight to the Customer Service desk that was located conveniently near the entrance, on the right. Eddie helped me out, looked up my order, and confirmed my ID. He was super friendly and made the pickup fast and easy. Wanting to get one more as a spare, Eddie also went to help us look for another one, but unfortunately they were all sold out. Where are all these springs hiding?! lol oh well. What was ordered: - P728 28 Inch Extension Spring (ancient technology for our garage door haha) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Home Depot's online ordering totally saved the day. Instead of driving to all the different stores looking for it, placing the order ahead of time definitely saved time and gave us the guarantee needed to know that they had the part. I need everyone reading this to know that there isn't anything wrong with the store, but i'm taking a point away for that awful parking lot. It's been years and that dip hasn't been fixed--it's always flooded during rainy season, and takes away many parking spaces. I come here for a lot of home cleaning products, and preventative plant treatments. They always have what I need and I never have an issue. The staff is a little younger and they are also friendlier than other locations I've been to. One specific staff member in particular is a young kid named Nathan--he was quite helpful to me. He helped me find a product I couldn't locate, and other products I needed help with, like specific glue for bonding my magnetic mesh to the outside of my house to keep bugs from coming inside. Whoever he is, deserves some recognition. Usually I receive a friendly "Oh i'm not sure, so sorry. maybe try (some aisle #)" but he went out of his way to help me. Thank you! read more

I used to love this store despite staff being inconsistent in terms of service. Some folks were so helpful and others seemed like they got paid to avoid eye contact. However they just made a major change to the checkout process and it is terrible. Instead of having the option of self checkout or full service checkout everyone is now corralled into one hybrid line where you go to a station and your things are scanned for you and then you are left to the touch screen and payment screen. It's like they took the best parts of both full service and self checkout and left the worst parts. It now feels so impersonal and I'm not sure I want to come back to this store. read more

Unhelpful and unknowledgeable staff in the plumbing department. I needed a connector/adapter for my kitchen faucet (brought a sample) to the water hose, and he simply pointed to aisle #23. Later, when I asked him to show me which one, he was vague and didn't seem to know it either. I inquired if there was anyone else who could help but he claimed to be the only one in that department. My star rating is mixed. I would like to give one associate NO stars and another one FIVE stars!Information only. I am a HD credit card holder AND a business account holder... Okay, where do I begin... On November 28th, 2023, a little before 7pm. I entered Home Depot to pick up a gallon of paint. I frequent this store on a regular basis for both my personal home and for our family business. On this particular evening, I was cold and tired because our contractor was coming back the next morning at 7 a.m., and I needed another gallon of paint. I went over to the paint department and asked the young lady, "Did you have any sales on paint?" She then pointed OVER HER HEAD behind her. I asked again, where, because I wasn't sure which direction she was pointing. She kind of smirked and said right there (I wished I would have gotten her name). Now I'm pissed going in the direction she pointed. I then noticed an area of paint on sale actually part of the paint cubicle, up against the side. I briefly looked at those paints and proceeded to go to the wall to look at the Behr paints. I was confused and exhausted at looking at the paints. I then re-approached the counter and asked another associate as she was walking away if she could please help me. She politely said yes. Mind you, she was in the paint booth doing something at a machine when I asked the 1st young lady, who was laughing and talking to a male associate who was also in the booth. A total of 3 associates in all. Now, this lady kindly came over to the wall to assist me. She walked me through the entire process, giving me suggestions and advice. I really appreciated her professionalism. I then asked her where was the Gorilla wood glue, and she walked me right up the aisle to it. I thanked her so much because she calmed my frustration and anger towards the other rude female associate, who totally pissed me off! I then asked the same kind associate where the electrical wire covers were, and she immediately said aisle 10. When she said that and pointed me in the direction, I asked her her name, and she said, "JUDY." I really appreciated her professionalism, her knowledge of products, her knowledge of the store, and most importantly, her ability to put me to ease to find everything I was looking for. Judy displayed and showed Customer Service at its best!!! Kudos to Home Depot for hiring such a valuable employee. We own a family business, and I really would like to steal her from you. read more

They wait for you in the parking lot, when you go in they have a guy follow you and another guy goes through your work truck and the other guy lets him know when your comeback out. Would give 0 stars if I could. I called home depot talked to them in the blinds department asked for a specific size 58 w faux wood blinds they told me they had them. I asked the price he told me around $50. I went to the store guy goes up to get blinds cones down takes off comes back later and says they can't find them. I said I called before I came here he says well it says they have them.They were not in stock and they were nit $50. The guy says do you want me to check another store so I say yes Torrance. So he starts to check and I ask so if it says yes they have them it could be the same I could go there and they can't find them too. He said it's the same everywhere I tell him nevermind then. Why bother calling nobody checks they just guess the price and tell you it's there and then it's not when you go and it's the same everywhere is his response now I know why this store is empty. This store is literally empty. Theres nobody in there. I had a five-star visit to Home Depot this afternoon. I don't normally shop at this store, but happened to be in the area. While walking out with a small purchase, I happened to notice one of the employees outside. I asked him if they had any Traeger apple pellets for sale since I didn't see them and wondered if they were a seasonal item. He said he wasn't sure, but would check for inventory in the computer. He saw that there were some in stock and walked me back to the aisle where they were located. He patiently waited as I phoned my husband to see if he wanted them. I decided to get 4 bags since there was a bulk discount available. To my surprise, this nice gentleman not only got them down for me from a high shelf, but left to retrieve a shopping cart to put them in. I wish I had gotten his name because he certainly deserves some recognition for his customer service. This is my go-to Home Depot being it is super close to my house and it really does look neat and organized, most of the time. Their parking is plentiful which is great and they have staff at registers to help pretty often. I think some departments lack help but most of the time I have asked someone for help they have been able to answer my questions. Obviously there's tons of items so it can be a bit much for those that don't come to these type places often. I would say definitely come with someone that can help you navigate this big type store. I called ahead to have my order ready for quick pickup, but when I arrived, Silvia brushed off my request. I waited for a hardware employee who never showed up, forcing my brother to search for help--only to find no one there. Please, please stay away from LG products. I'm warning you. So as not to go through this hell. This company is not the same anymore. Please do not buy LG products. Then don't tell me I didn't warn you. I bought a unit June 2023 and saw the problem July 2023. When faced with a warranty situation, you will feel like you are being treated horribly, and abused, and that they are abusing their power because they understand that no one will protect the customers. After a conversation between the support service and the repairman. You will understand that it is your mistake that you bought and there is nothing they can do. What LG claims about a 10 year warranty is a lie. They should write that before purchasing, read the contract and company policies. After this you will never buy their products again. Because you will understand that if there are so many buts... then what are they selling then and what kind of guarantee is this. I have always purchased LG products and never had to deal with their customer support. But this time I was unlucky and after using the dishwasher twice, I noticed that rust had appeared on the stainless steel inside the unit. Also, the plates are constantly wet and do not dry, and it smells of dampness and rotten fish. I placed the plates absolutely clean, I just want to further test the machine after purchase. Also, the dispenser where you fill in the Jet Dry rinse aid is leaking. The company advised me to change the settings. I did as I was told, but nothing changed. Then they began to say that in order to drain the water, there must be very hot water in the pipe. Did not help. And since there was dampness there, the LG stainless steel began to rust even more. I hope it doesn't rust to the through hole and leak. A repairman from LG came and wrote in his report that he saw rust and corrosion. It is necessary to replace the unit, since it is impossible to eliminate this defect in production. I've asked enough about this report. He said the new unit had rust and corrosion. This is a warranty for replacement as it is a defect. When it came to replacement. LG sent a repairman again, but not one, but two. The way they set the appointment is a complete abuse. They ask you to make an appointment. When it's convenient for you and when it's not. They will schedule an appointment for a time when you can't and change the time regardless of your opinion. The last time I even stopped telling them when I could or not. And finally they arrived. And the last repairman was late and was also aggressive and even sexist. Mom asked a question, but he didn't even answer her. With all his actions he showed that who are you to bother him. If I had not been present, I would not have believed it. And when he left, he told my mother that you buy vinegar and you wash a new unit every time you wash the dishes. And he told my mother to her face that she was lying. After that, I told these workers to get out of my house. Horror . My mother went to a psychologist after that. Can you imagine what could have happened if my mother was alone. After that, think about whether you want to go through with it or not. And I haven't finished the story yet. Of course, the unit hasn't been changed, it's all rusting. The repairman who came wrote a fake false report. Even the company doesn't care that there is already a report from the first repairman. The company specifically sent a second repairman to write a false report. So as not to change the unit. I bought the dishwasher because it had a beautiful design and plus the LG company, which I thought had a good reputation and quality. But apparently everything has changed for the worse. read more
