This is still a pretty good store, but I'm knocking them down a couple of stars for being hard to work with. Here's my horror story: (Part I) I wanted to get some driveway crack sealer, so I checked the app and saw that this store had "23 in stock", so I went down to buy some. It wasn't on the shelf in the usual place, and I checked the app again. It still said 23 were in stock but did not give the shelf location but said "Ask Associate". So I went to the Customer Service desk and asked for help. I had two associates running around trying to find it. After a long delay, they finally reported that it was in Receiving, and so not actually available, but would be available in a couple of days. I said I would come back then. (Part II) After I got home, I had the bright idea of ordering it online for store delivery, since this is free and then I would know for sure it was available before I came down. The order was filled quickly, and I went in to pick it up from the lockers at the front of the store. The locker read my QR code, said that the order was in Locker 18, and that it would open the door in 10 seconds. Then it clicked several times but the door did not open. I retried several times, with the door still not opening, then went to customer service for help. The customer service person said that the order had already been picked up and someone must have access to my email (this is not true) and had come and got it. When I said that was impossible, he opened up all the lockers, searched for my order, told me it wasn't there, and repeated that someone else had picked it up. (In retrospect I think the locker assumed that the door had opened and that I had picked up the order.) (Part III) By this point I was very annoyed and asked to speak to the manager (Jake). He listened patiently to my story and offered to fill my order from the shelves. I accepted. Then he had second thoughts and went to search the locker himself. Success! My order was in Locker 18, where it was supposed to be, and I was able to take it and be on my way (after spending half an hour on this task). read more

This place has really really bad customer service in the auto/tool rental section. A group o teens or young dudes that are on their phone constantly and seem either high or just exhausted. Don't know how to give proper hours of operation for rentals over the phone, are kinda rude and overall a group of meat heads. The customer service center of the store was ok, the ladies were nice enough. read more

If you are renting something for an important event, such as a generator for a wedding, be careful. The manager and rental department won't guarantee your rental in any way. Even with 2500 stores, they think it's fine to take a reservation without necessarily honoring the reservation! read more

Home Depot has a large selection, good displays & good help (once you seek it out). GO ASK SOMEONE! They have a very liberal return policy as well. If the package is still sealed, it goes right back, full refund. Good selection.Home Depot will do rough cuts on lumber purchased there. read more

BUYER BEWARE: I've been watering my cactus religiously every couple of days for almost a year now, thinking that my little orange baby was doing just fine. Today, while watering, I accidentally knocked it over and devastatingly the orange flower fell off without much force. After fearing that I had been too rough with him, I was told that the orange flower, which enticed me to buy a fricking cactus, was fake all along and super glued on. I am very disappointed with the false advertising and will no longer be a consumer of Home Depot's fake cacti. You have lost a faithful customer. read more

Caution on buying appliances. I bought a dishwasher. Ended up needing an ADA compliant dishwasher. Tried to return the dishwasher and Home Depot doesn't take appliance returns. Said I have to go thru the manufacturer. But here's the thing. No one told me that when I bought it AND I bought it from Home Depot. Not the manufacturer. I'm Home Depot's customer, not Frigidaire's. Had I known I'd be left high and dry I'd buy thru Amazon. I will not buy appliances via Home Depot again. read more

Worst customer service..EVER!! This is the first review I have ever written, and I have spent the time to sign up to Yelp to write this. I called for someone to check a product on the floor and they nobody was willing actually walk to the aisle and check if it was available. I am a contractor of 20 years and go here 2 a day, and never have experienced such incompetence. Home depot might consider paying their peeps more so they get out of their chair and actually be of assistance. SHAME! read more

This is the infamous Home Depot location wherein almost all personnel are versed in the dark arts of making themselves invisible precisely when you might need them. It is said that serious bodily harm might be visited upon them should they observe you floundering about and openly offer their assistance. Shame on me for visiting this store SO many times (not to mention spending tons of of money) expecting a different outcome after needing to chase someone down and all but beg for help; it is, what they say, the definition of insanity. My most recent- and last- visit required the aforementioned chase, followed by a meandering consultation of staff members, an internet search on their part, and a final answer that "It is only available to order online" for a very basic item that I am quite sure lives on a shelf somewhere in the store. In fact, I found the item within thirty seconds of walking into the neighboring Lowe's; my new home improvement destination. read more

I needed a new battery for my drill. They have them locked in a cage. Fine I'll just get a employee to open the cage. The only problem is there is maybe 2 employees there. One was making keys for the entire 20 minutes I was there and the other would not leave the self checkout even when no one was there. read more

I didn't think it would be possible, but with the closure of their only competitor next door, they care even less about customer service. If they would pay their employees more they might be able to hire some additional people. That doesn't keep them from jacking up the prices, of course. read more

Saying Jackson has been helpful the few times I've gone to this location would be an understatement. I rented a truck to move some furniture, and completely messed up thinking the store was open later than it was. Jackson kindly proposed that he had some other work to get done and was happy to stay a few minutes after hours so I could get my truck back to the store and avoid spending over $100 for an overnight rental versus the $30 I was planning on spending. I'll continue to go to this location because of folks like him that go the extra mile to help customers. read more

People are panicking about CoronaVirus running into stores to get supplies. King Soopers, Costco and other major retailers are trying to control the panic by only allowing shoppers to purchase a limited quantity of major supplies (toilet paper, etc...). But NOT this Home Depot. Guy in line bought 16 (SIXTEEN! the last 16) 6 packs of toilet paper. All of it. After saying something to Home Depot manager they still did nothing to curtail. People misbehave when panic. Home Depot could have stepped up to try to quell that misbehavior. They didn't. That disappoints me. 1 star for Louisville Home Depot. Note: I know some people will put forth some free market economy blah blah (which most of the time I support) but, come on, people are unreasonable in times of perceived panic and Home Depot, like the other major retailers around, could have been more responsible. read more

This rating is for customer service policy. I checked out a wagon full of stuff at the garden center exit. After paying I noticed I was charged twice for a $51 item. I brought it to the attention of the carless clerk. She said the only way to get it credited back was to go to the customer service desk!! Me and my wagon had to go back to the center of the store, wait in line (only two people there and one is forever on the phone). After some time got my credit applied and had to trek back to the garden center exit since my car was just outside the door. They must hate their customers. By the way, during all this trekking a small wire brush, I already paid for, must have fallen through the wagon slots.. never saw it again! read more

How do you lose a bathtub? I ordered a bathtub on May 3 2020 for pick up at the Louisville, CO Home Depot for delivery May 17. The tracking information showed delivery May 13 to the Louisville store. I thought we should be able to pick up early. We started calling the store on Saturday, May 15 to pick it up and they claimed it had not arrived. Today, May 18 they admit it was delivered May 13 but they can't find it. We have contractors being paid by the hour tapping their feet waiting for the tub. Home Depot's solution - reorder and it might come in a week. Our bathroom in totally demolished. Really? We called Home Depot complaint line and they said it was delivered May 13 and to work with the store to search the dock. It even shows on line that it was received at the store. I give up. read more

Looking for a washing machine and checking around everywhere. HD is not my favorite big box but it's adequate. This one has lots of parking and is well laid out. I was approached immediately by a pleasant saleswoman in appliances but she was a little unsure of the machine features. She did suggest waiting for the "expert" salesman who was helping someone else. read more

Not only are the employees very helpful and friendly, they also appear to be healthy and happy with their life, which is quite a contrast to Walmart or Safeway. Rielly in the paint department, in particular, was very resourceful, friendly, and really seems to care about customers. I don't even consider going to Lowe's now. read more

I experienced a number of issues with purchasing and delivery and installation of my washing machine. At time of purchase, the in store help didn't mention I needed a certain piece to stack my appliances. When delivery arrived to my house, the installation couldn't be completed without this piece. Then I was charged a $60 delivery for this piece, had one more installation day cancelled without me requesting that. When the third day scheduled to install- the service workers contracted never even used that piece and I had to complete that part of installation myself. Over 20 calls back and forth during this time. Not happy with the process. read more

I have never had such a terrible experience. I ordered countertops and had terrible service from start to finish. I was never informed that the stone I selected was back ordered. After waiting months, I called the stone fabricator to confirm that my installation, which was due to take place in less than 48 hours, was confirmed. Only then did they tell me they did not have the stone and had no anticipated delivery date. I had to choose a new stone, and waited again for installation. Again I called two days before installation and was told that the stone had broken during fabrication the previous day and the new stone was back ordered as well. I understand there are back orders right now, my problem has been with the communication around my order - they never reached out once about any issues, I only found out about any of the problems after contacting them. Additionally, there were huge delays in the response time when I reached out and conflicting information given to me. I finally have countertops after hours and hours of phone calls and emails and many delays. My appliance delivery and contractors had to be rescheduled multiple times as well. Save your money and sanity and look elsewhere. read more

I am so frustrated with the Home Depot on Dillon in Louisville. I came in Thursday July 8th to purchase several appliances on their appliance sale for a new build we're doing. I met with Doug in appliances and specifically discussed a range and several appliances I needed. The range was on the website ON SALE for $800 less then the original price. Doug suggested he "work up" several options for me and would get back to me with them so I could purchase. I asked when the sale ended and he said July 14. He even wrote that date on his card for me. I acquiesced and said I would would wait even though I was ready to purchase $15k worth of various appliances. He wanted to work up the best options for me so I agreed to wait. He committed to emailing and calling me as a follow up. I didn't hear from him so I came into the store July 11. Doug was out sick and wasn't here. Now the pricing switched on the website and the higher priced range is now "not on sale" even though their employee Doug affirmed with me that it would be (this specific appliance was the main reason I was purchasing the appliances from Home Depot). Doug dissuaded me from purchasing on Thursday and now the price of the one appliance is $800 more. I spoke the the manager on duty Brea. She then spoke to the Store manager Ashley who informed me there's "nothing she could do to honor the price" that her employee said would be maintained. I find that an interesting response from the store manager. I am building a house and have numerous purchases to make that will now not be made at Home Depot because of this. If I could give a zero I would. read more

We went in to look at vinyl plank flooring. We were unsure what to look for so we asked for the flooring person. Just coming off of her break, Shane came over and spoke to us. She went through all the positives and negatives, and was very happy as she knew what she was talking about; very thorough and informative. Zero stars if I could. Website does not accurately portray tools available for rental. I went in to rent a wet/dry vac that was available online and all 3 tools I was looking at were missing parts/attachments. Associate kept telling me 'I will let my manager know' every time I expressed a concern about inconsistencies and did nothing to make the situation better. I was able to talk to talk to the manager Chris a little bit after. He quickly shifted the blame to the associate and said he would 'look into it'. He didn't even ask for my name/contact info, try to rectify the situation or make any attempts to follow up. I should have just driven the 20 miles to the reliable Boulder location instead of going to the one closest to me. Effective waste of my time. Whatever you do, please don't ever buy an appliance from Home Depot, especially in Louisville. They would not return a broken washer and dryer that was installed incorrectly, and was the wrong size. Also, the delivery service that they use is not good. They were rude and did not return phone calls. They won't tell you about their non-existent return policy for appliances. I will not be shopping at Home Depot due their sub-par customer service and return policies. Very disappointed as I have been a loyal customer for a long time. read more

Store is fine - your regular Home Depot. ... but very disappointed with their tool rental center. I dropped off a pressure washer for service (they've been advertising that they fix such things) and it sat there for over a month (nothing done at all). I called 2 weeks, 3 weeks, and again 4 weeks after dropping it off, each time asking for an update. Employee never knew any details about repair and indicated that service person (Jay?) would call me back the next day. I never got a call back after on any of those occasions. A big "F" for customer service - I recommend going elsewhere for small engine service. read more

This is a great store with helpful and friendly employees. When an item in the Boulder store is sold out one can usually find it at this store. Gotta love HD for their vast selection in store and online, usually with free delivery to the store for online orders. read more

I don't know if I've lucked out, but in general, the associates in this store have tended to be more knowledgeable than in any other. They answer all our newbie questions and make picking something from the multitude of options simple. The only thing I wish is that they'd have a tile cutting spot for when we needed a single tile cut - they could sell us a saw but it seemed like such a waste to buy a whole product just over that. read more
