She was able to get my order taken care of and was really kind and answered all of my questions to make me feel confident I was getting what I needed. She was also patient by looking up all of the delivery information, even though I decided to opt out of it in the end. Do not rent a vehicle from here!!! My husband and I rented a flatbed truck from this location and our experience was TERRIBLE! The vehicle was filthy with trash, spilled coke on the inside of the windshield and literal bird poop on the inside of the truck! The truck itself had so much play in the steering that driving in the wind of West Texas felt very unsafe. The truck seemed to have no shocks. The brakes also were an issue. Terrible! I needed 36 12 x 12 paving stones. Pushed my cart up to the garden center entrance just as a store clerk started to close the entrance gate. She told me she was closing and I would have to go around. Customers service rep said "There's nothing we can do. You have to get with the people on the website." After placing an order for a washer and dryer, that was scheduled to be delivered three days later, they never showed. I called the store. The response above is what she told me since I ordered it online. So I got with the online people. They said they're not in control delivery delays. 10 minutes after hanging up they sent me a random text saying your order has been rescheduled for 2 weeks later. Frustrating enough.... That was followed a week later by a random text that said your order has been rescheduled again... adding another week. Finally contacted someone via text message, that told me there was a delay in shipping. That's it. No resolution & no help... just a wait until it eventually shows up. Three weeks without a washer and dryer is fun. Obviously will not be ordering anything from Home Depot again. The only reason I ordered from Home Depot in the first place is because they had the earliest delivery date. Funny, but I've never had this issue ordering something from Lowe's. Multiple delays with shipping, poor communication and very poor customer service. Too bad you can't give a zero star rating. Do not recommend. Off to the laundromat again. read more

Bought a Maytag dishwasher, excellent price. Purchased on 1st expected on 8th but wasn't delivered till 15th. Paid for waterline kit and new electric cord. Didn't have with order when went to pick up, had to ask for them and they had to go get some off shelf. Ordered in Black , when our own hired plumber opened box it was stainless steel. Very frustrating but will keep it cause don't want to wait for another 15-20 days for yet ANOTHER one. read more

It is almost impossible to actually shop inside the store itself. Aisles constantly closed or blocked. On at least 3 occasions I have left and gone to a competitor. Most recently I was attempting to shop for electrical supplies and here came the flagger and the forklift. Forklift driver hit numerous items. As it became apparent they wanted in the aisle I was attempting to shop in, I gave up and decided to get items in an adjacent aisle. By the time I got there, this aisle was also blocked. I called twice today for tool rentals, initially he answered the phone "tool rentals hold please" in an extremely rude tone, didn't wait for me to respond, immediately put me on hold for over ten minutes and when I called again just didn't even bother to answer. Absolutely no accountability. We were seeking help with a kitchen design project and waited an hour for someone to help us. We were assured the designer would be back but s/he never showed up. There were 3 other couples waiting also for assistance. We tried contacting a supervisor and also got the run around. No one wanted to hear our frustration. We ended up leaving disgusted. While we probably dodged a bullet by not transacting with the Home Depot, it is still frustrating and disappointing that they could care less about their customers. I went to the East Lubbock store today (11/18/2022) to order ceramic flooring. They had difficulty finding the product in the store (even though the website showed it was in stock). I spent over half an hour while the associates tried to find it. They couldn't find the tiles, but agreed to deliver it to my home. An hour later the store called to tell me they actually did not have the tiles in stock and would not get them again. I told the person who called, "I'm very disappointed to hear that." The person from the store then asked when I can come back to the store so they could refund my money. No effort to try to keep my business (over $900 purchase), and in fact seemed more interested in finishing the phone call as soon as they could. I'm going to look at purchasing my floor tiles somewhere more interested in actually earning my business. read more

I had a bad experience with an order placed via Home Depot app, next day went to pickup via curbside. These were typical day to day items, mop, broom, mop bucket. Was only able to pickup 2 items the other would be delivered to my home. Not what I expected. Request to cancel order and response from A rude hateful employee was NO. I reported this issue to Corporate Home Depot and requested a response from Corporate due to appears local HR has a history of neglect and response is always lip service. Till this day same situation with Home Depot corporate. Very disappointing this employee is extremely rude and hateful. Absolutely horrible place. Went in a bought dryer two weeks ago. We were told it would be here August 17th. Guess what no dryer. Call there customer service desk and find out oh, well that model is on back order until September. Go in today to get a refund and low and behold we can only give you the money back on the debt credit card used or a paper check either way it'll take three to five business days to get your money back. So now I have to wait another week before I can go get a dryer from somewhere else. Never coming back to HD. read more

I ask 3 employees to help me find a tool I needed. They all told me where to go and I still couldn't find it. I saw this lady I believe her name was Tiara who works in the appliance area. This employee has helped me the last 3 days because I have large products to complete right now. She has even come and ask me if I needed help. So today I saw her and I walked to her. I knew it was not her area but again she was so helpful. She looked up the item and it says there were 15 items. The reason why I couldn't find it was because it was out of stock where they were suppose to be displayed. She found the box up high in the shelf and went and got a ladder to help me get the tool I needed. Then she restock where the tools were supposed to be. Terrible experience buying carpet at Home Depot. After spending almost $4,000 on carpet, and waiting a over a month for it to be installed, my installer showed up and refused to move any of my furniture. I had no heavy furniture, just the basics, we even broke down all of our beds. It was up to me and my 16 year old daughter to move everything or he was going to leave and force us to reschedule. They advertise "All Inclusive Whole Carpet Installation" included with your carpet purchase which is supposed to include "furniture moving" and "no surprises". If you want a quality professional experience, don't use Home Depot. They do a good job of selling you on the "whole" package, but just rip you off and take your money without providing the service you paid for. I will never buy anything at Home Depot ever again. I stopped in here when I was in Lubbock since my local Hone Depot was out of cinder block. I needed 12 cinder blocks for a project. The nicest lady in garden helped me find them, and while I was choosing she went back to work. Totally ok. But the male employee that sat on his phone and watched me while I loaded all 12 of these into a cart was not ok. And the two employees in the parking lot that watched me load these from the cart to my car and none of these employees offered even once to help. I'm totally capable of loading these, but I really thought part of customer service was to at least offer to help. Extremely disappointed in this experience. read more

What kind of business are y'all running here? Customer service here is absolutely ridiculous. I was there at 6am today only to walk up to an employee disrespecting another employee right in the front of the store. I walked up to the service desk for returns to find a manager flat out ignore me and walk off. His associate waited 2 minutes before assisting me without saying one single word to me. At the same time, she was extremely rude to a coworker(which apparently is a requirement to work there). The two items I went in for were priced wrong which I found out when I was checking out. I've said over and over that the Home Depot does not strive to impress customers. I only went there because I had to make some returns and I 100% guarantee I will not be back. Seems like it's not the best strategy to treat customers and employees bad when your competitor is less than a mile away with excellent customer service. read more

This store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are willing to lose a customer and a sale rather than help you. Also never pay cash for anything over $500, they will not give you your money back and will mail you a check that will take over two weeks to get to you. Managers are not trained and can't do anything but what the computer tells them to do. Also the delivery service they use are unprofessional and you don't get a choice, they only have one. It has been a HUGE nightmare dealing with Home Depot!!!! On December 17th, I ordered a dryer from them. I scheduled the dryer to be delivered on December 28th because we went out of town for Christmas and we'd be back home by then. On December 28th, I called and was told that my dryer was on backorder and that it would be delivered on December 31st. I called again on December 31st and this time I was told that it's on back order until January 28th. First of all, there's NO EXCUSE for anyone to have to wait a month and a half to get a dryer!!!!! Second of all, we're moving to another apartment complex on January 29th and our new apartment complex comes with a washer and dryer. This was in December of 2020. read more

This isn't the greatest Home Depot I have ever visited, but they generally have what you need in stock. I also picked up some nice flower bulbs and garden decor here. The store is big, has a huge display of appliances and home interior stuff. They also usually have some seasonal clearance items in the front, like shelves, solar lights, storage bins, that kind of stuff. I have my eye on some of the power tools too, great selection there. And I bought a grill here too for my patio, it was better deal and features than the other stores I visited (Academy Sports (a close second), Southerlands, Gander MTN, WalMart, and Target). The employees are fairly helpful, I did notice that they don't follow through that well when you need help. Example: You ask where something is, they say "Aisle 8, left side" but don't show you where the miniscule item is located on the massive aisle. The employees are cheerful overall though, which is a nice change from some stores. I do have a gripe with their garden section, many plants looked all dried up, like they hadn't been watered in days. And their selection of value priced garden dirt/mulch/etc is not even close to as cheap as their close neighbor, Lowe's. read more

Came to get something from garden store. My oxygen was low so parked by garden store in handicap spot. Lady working outside saw me park and walk up behind another man. I walked in behind him. Then after we were in she yelled that that door was locked which it wasn't. Then she came back and locked door and told us to walk to other side to exit. I kept saying mamn and she wouldn't answer so had to go to back where she was. She had vest that said her name was Sam. I told her I needed door unlocked to go out to car because was having oxygen problem. She told me the only way out was the other exit. Nice man at front exit let me use his stool until I could breathe better. I called manager and waited in car. an employee finally talked to her through door and they both cracked up laughing.
