Home Depot here in Omak, WA is great. Their people are courteous and helpful. To bad I can't give good marks to one of the gun 'safes?' they sell. That being an AdirOffice 1.33 cu. ft. 3-Gun Dual Lock Heavy-Duty (steel)Gun Cabinet, Mahogany painted. The item as delivered to my home was a piece of junk. It wouldn't open with the keys provided (never got it opened), was damaged and had stuff rattling inside, plus rust bloom had been painted over (visible as bumps in the coating). I returned it directly to Home Depot...no problem. They credited my account and I ordered a better gun safe via their selection. No more AdirOffice products for me. read more

DO NOT BUY FLOORING OF ANY KIND FROM OMAK HOME DEPOT IF YOU WANT IT INSTALLED. My brother bought carpet and laminate from Home Depot in Omak and we both asked if they installed. The answer was yes. Nothing else. This has been a nightmare for the last two months. A month into this they said that the installer was 3 weeks out and they were coming from spokane. They never said this in the beginning. We bought trim to finish off the floors and I was told today that the installer was not going to be doing that, I had to pay extra. So I tell you I want it, I purchase it, and I am paying you to install, but you will not do the finish work. It is also going to take the installer two days to do a 400 sq ft room. They are coming over saturday, taking sunday off and finishing monday. I would give them zero stars if I could read more

We needed a new well pump, picked up the 1/2 hp well pump. Worked for a week. Check main windings resistance with the help of the engineer for the pumps. The main windings was bad. Checked the pumps in stock they were all bad after 3 bad pumps I was done. Couldn't get my money back, and they screwed up the in-store card. Spent 3 weeks without water and another week fixing the cards to buy stuff I didn't need. I run from this home Depot. It's the last resort store for me now. Some great employees there but management is not worth talking to. read more

I was in here recently to purchase some paint. The employees were very, very helpful and I left with the perfect paint in under 20 minutes.

Today I went shpping cat our local Home Depot in Omak. Most times it's a good time, but not today. My shopping went okay with me searching out items needed to install shelfs. Needless to say I gather all the items needed to complete my home task. Now the thing is this, I am disable. So as a disabled person I park near or at the disable spots. Now I was near the same door I entered. So like a few times before someone was at the return check station. As many times before I just got in line. A young lady was helping a guy with an exchange or return, not sure, but it was not great. This young lady was being a bit nasty on how she was talking with the elderly man. Anyhow he does go in to either get an exchange or something. Not sure but I kind felt then the young lady was a bit too rude. Now when I move forward to be next. I placed my items on the check counter. This young lady was on the phone being a bit rude to someone on the line. So she gets off the phone and makes contact with me. Her first words were, this is a return line not a check out line. I simply replied, I have been checked out at this station before many time and at times employees asking me if I was ready to check out. So needless to say she did not reply. I went on and said, hey I happen to be disable and my vehicle is in the parking spots. Needless to say she did not reply, but she did check me out. While she was checking me out she never said a word. Never ask if I found everything I need or even a hello. All she said was is this is not check out. But dang if this is how things are going to go at Home Depot in Omak they best move the disable parking closer to check out. Then place a big sign up saying we shall scolded you if you use this area as check out. Now my disability keeps me from walking great distances. If I do a 100 yards I over done it. What's funny is she looked right at my cane. So she knew that I am disable. My god she was truly stepping to the line of being beyond rude. Myself if I had not had all the stuff ready and if I could of gone shopping at another store I would of walk out. That is how rude this young lady was to me. Dam... So heck I may need to rethink where I get my supplies from for future projects. I need not allow myself to be treated in such a manner. So one star for Omak Home Depot today. read more

Waited entire day, that I took off from work without pay, for refrigerator delivery. Called three times to confirm and was assured it would be there. Never made it and tried to reschedule for six days later! FORGET IT! DELIVERY TOTALLY UNRELIABLE! read more

The day began well, until we got to Home Depot. The gal that is at the door with the carts was terrific. She was the only terrific thing about this visit. We were getting some flooring after having been told it would be in Tuesday. This is Thursday and we live 50 miles away. Three guys were helping us and all three just seemed a bit lost. One guy scanned the sample and told us there were 55 boxes of this in back. Because he scanned the sample it was telling him there were 55 samples, not 55 boxes. It was our second choice but we were tired of waiting on our first choice. We are talking several weeks here. We were also told this was on sale but yet when we got to the register, it was not on sale. But I am getting ahead of myself. Back to the three guys. One guy told my husband (I was reading the instructions on the box) that we needed a vapor barrier, similar to visqueen, plus a thin foam pad underneath our Allure flooring. The directions didn't mention anything about either. So we bought the extra stuff to the tune of $35. So when we get to the register the flooring didn't ring up the correct price. It came up as the regular price after 3 guys told us it was on sale. The gal at the register seemed a bit out of her element, to put it mildly. A manager had to be called to change it to the sale price. In the midst of all this a very nice Home Depot guy named Cory who knew all about flooring said we didn't need the visqueen or the foam pad. If we used it, it would void the warranty. So since the gal had rung all this up we had to begin all over again from the get-go. The manager had to be called again. And to top it all off, the line was getting very long and the employee that was at the next register never offered to help anyone at all as he didn't know how to do returns. I guess this is what happens with you hire young people at minimum wage who could care less about their jobs. read more
