On 7/21 I went to this Home Depot with my wife which i normally dont because im very handicap with my mobility. On this day my wife had trouble locating a mobility scooter for me. Not only did employee Marli help my wife locate one she personally took to me to my truck where I was parked in the handicap so I woukd not have to try and painfully walk to get it with my injured back. Once inside we went to the flooring department where we saw that the boxes a flooring were very heavy and we would need help. Not only did new employee Ryan in flooring help us but he offered to get the rolling cart...load the boxes...take it to the front where he was able to get Margarita who was working returns and not open at the time who voluntarily opened her register in returns so we can pay for our items and stay close to the doors where we came in at and then once completed Ryan then took the items to my truck and loaded for us....this is the best customer service I've had as someone who is handicap and was afraid to go shopping...thank you Home Depot Team... read more

The restrooms on most locations are directly at the rear of the store which is a midway point--which is a straight shot from the entrance This location has it at one end (it feels like a long way to walk if you have to relieve yourself (when you gotta go, you gotta go!) that in itself is extremely annoying. Everything is just like any HD, sidles are wide & merchandise is arranged & well stocked. Hubby was looking for a shop chair, and of course it's only available online. DaRn it. Amazing service! From the moment we walked into the Home Depot in Rancho Cucamonga, we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who were willing to help. We originally came in simply looking for bug control repellent products for crickets and a gentleman assisted us right away. He provided some really helpful insight that made it much easier to narrow down our selection. After finding a few additional items in the garden section, we accidentally went to the return counter instead of checkout. Rather than turning us away, Margarita was incredibly helpful and took the time to assist us. My wife came in there bought a refrigerator on 3 July. She spent over $3000 for the refrigerator. They make us wait for it for two weeks we get the refrigerator it never works. Still doesn't work today is 3 August we have tried to get a hold of the store and have somebody come and fix it. They pawn us off to Samsung. We call Samsung. They don't repair it so they pawn us off to another place that does service on them now they scheduled a day with us and then they just called and canceled. I think Home Depot needs to be responsible and stand behind their stuff. This is a very very shitty situation we've been without a refrigerator now for over two weeks and Home Depot can care less. I suggest no one ever buys appliances from them if they don't stand behind them very very disappointed in this we tried to talk to the manager she pond is off to somebody else we are still sitting here today with no refrigerator and like I said we spent over $3000 for this refrigerator. This is not my go-to home improvement store, but I have frequented here on occasion. It definitely feels more catered to contractors to me. I have had success in finding some plumerias in the nursery and other gardening needs. Recently, we needed to get some keys duplicated and were referred to Home Depot for vehicle keys. They had the minute key kiosk as well, but we actually had to ask someone for help in making the vehicle keys. The gentleman warned us it may not work, but he did have the right key in stock and it was only $7/key so it was worth it to me to give it a shot. Upon completion, the keys looked identical, so we went ahead and got a second key made as well. Checkout was a breeze with their self-checkout line. They also have lockers available for picking up online orders which are actually pretty fun and cool to use. I appreciate having the option to duplicate keys here! read more

SERVICE - I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I came in quickly for one item and passed a couple of employees who greeted me. As I continued walking, they made disrespectful comments and called me a "weirdo," apparently thinking I couldn't hear them. Today is Sunday and I was planning to perform some home improvement. I walk into the lumber section to get help from two guys, one in a fork lift and the other one directing traffic. I ask for help to try to get a piece of wood to replace my cabinet bottom due to water damage. Olda walk up and immediately took me to the cabinet section, the piece we needed was big, she then bought me to the shelving section and we found a piece that we can use to cut to size. We made are way to the lumber side, the guy directing traffic calls Michael to help us cut the piece to size. As contractor today I went to purchase an angle grinder. Around 4pm. Couldn't find a soul to open the gate didn't have a QR code to call someone. Went around to the other side got the QR code scanned it to get an associate. Finally I walk around waiting for associate after about 5-10 minutes. I see an associate walk past the aisle pressed a button and kept Walking. I thought he would turn around but kept walking away. You lost 300.00 today. Why wouldn't you ask people in the aisle if they needed help or walk down the aisle. I could have chased him down but I figured if he's too lazy to walk down an aisle I'm too lazy to buy. I went there this afternoon around 3:30 p.m. and wanted to purchase five of the 2x8x16 Ft Kiln dried fascia board. They keep it up on the rack way out of my reach. I asked four different people everyone knew I wanted someone to help me but there was no one there to help. And they said they would contact the manager I waited another 10 minutes. After 25 minutes I finally gave up and went to Lowe's. It was a $400 purchase and the Home Depot push me right out their door and into their competitors. Bad business! The profit on that sale would have paid for an employee for the full day let alone the 15 minutes that I needed. The employee Michael from the paint department asked me to wait which was fine I understand. After 15 minutes he comes back to finally assist me but then tries to skip over me to help different people there is a line and he had acknowledged me, that's fine maybe he forgot so I tell him and he starts berating me saying he is not going to help me because of my attitude. The worst experience. It took more than 50 days for these jokers to put in simple plank flooring. We went through Christmas and New Years with an almost-finished floor due to Home Depot's incompetence, lack of communication, disinterest, poor workmanship and broken promises. First, it took weeks to get the order processed. I'll cut them some slack due to the pandemic because that's the lame excuse they used, more than once. However, phones worked but they must have had a hard time dialing. We did all the calling. Once they got around to installation, they ordered and put in the wrong floor-to-floor transitions that are NOT used for floor-to-floor transitions. The reason the installer put them in was because, as he put it, "that's what they ordered." So, we got a taste of the incompetence to come by the wrong thing ordered and the installer putting it in. A second grader could see the transitions were wrong. They were so HIGH that people tripped over them. The quarter rounds were badly cut and nailed. It was so sloppy that the installer said "the next guy" will fix it. Nobody at Home Depot seemed to care. I sent emails. No response. So I started sending emails up the corporate chan. No response until I got a call from a district manager, named Jessica. Even SHE couldn't get it fixed in the beginning. Eventually Jessica ordered the right transitions and the MISSING floor-to-carpet transitions but they, again, were the wrong ones. More than 50 (FIFTY) days later, the sloppy job was finished. Corporate offered a 5% rebate. I said make it 10% but they wanted to see my invoice because, surprisingly, they COULDN'T FIND IT. I took no rebate from them, so I could warn you to stay away from Home Depot. They have zero commitment to quality. I will spend the rest of my life avoiding Home Depot. read more
