Eligible participants receive a $400 maximum annual discount which resets each calendar year." I think that's a sad time when HD puts a cap on a military discount in your stores. 10% discount but to a certain limit now? Come On Brandon! That made me switch to Lowes. Let me know when you guys lift your HD limit on veterans that served your freedom for 110%! To put a limit expense on a veteran after they served you 110% and now you are giving them a limit amount of 10% back only on $400 a year! Especially this 100% permanently disabled veteran on a VA disability fixed income. This is a slap in the face and a kick to the twins of all that served. Shame on you HD! If I ever was invited to re-enlist I would only give 10% of my effort on my first 400 days of service and then do nothing after that because that is how HD is treating their vets! This locations employees are unless I needed a key copy and upon asking associates they told me to look for one of the key guys "he's big you can miss him" I walked around the store couldn't find him, found someone else they walked up to the machine and told me this isn't there area they can't figure out how to use it I'll have to find the key guys who is in charge of that area. I go to the font and ask if he's on schedule today because I can't find him or if there is any way they could call him to the key center. They told me no I should be able to find him. I went back to the key station and waited for 10 minutes ish and still no one. I left and went elsewhere. I don't understand why they could simply either tell me he was not in today or call him to the service area. read more

Home Depot is dead to me. I needed a garage door opener belt drive extender. Belt drive, not a chain drive. I went online and ordered a belt drive extender and opted to pick it up at the store. The online site showed that the store had four belt drive extenders in stock. We drove up to the store from Mesquite, about an hour drive. We went to the customer service desk and was given a chain drive extender. We were told to go back to the garage door opener aisle and get the correct one. As you can guess, because this is Home Depot, they had zero belt drive extenders. They did have three chain drive extenders. Adding the one I had been given at the desk, the store did have four extenders. Unfortunately, they were marked belt drive on their computer system. How is that even possible if they have an adequate system. Never again Home Depot. Never again. read more

This is a review of the online order process. TWICE recently I ordered a product online only to have the order partially canceled many days after the order was accepted. One of those instances I had placed the product on a watch list, received email that it was back in stock, and ordered the same day. The people at this particular store are great. They are very customer oriented and strive to provide excellent customer service. Curbside service included Jacob and Zerrick loading my SUV with heavy shelving units. I come from Nevada to purchase items so have to be sure the item is in stock and readily available. We bought our carpet through Home Dept and they source their work out to Western States Flooring. It was a huge project that took 2 days and 3 men to complete. We are extremely satisfied. I can not say enough about how professional and hard working the employees were in my home. They communicated every issue with us and/or solution to make the job a success. They were courteous and jumped onto anything we asked with a joyful "Absolutely" They know how to lay carpet! Its perfectly placed. Home Depot employees are usually much more helpful (and available) than at Lowe's. They have greeters to direct you. They have email receipts for easy returns. They have a good selection of items. Big parking lot. You can rent a truck from them for $19 for 75 minutes. Good seasonal things. And snacks. read more

I have to say this is the worst home depot I have ever visited, but I am only 62 yrs old and lived all over the US. I have lived in St. George for 15 yrs and each visit to this location is worse. On 11/3/22 I asked a store employee if he could tell me if he had anything similar to my example. He sighed so heavy I thought he $hit his pants....another customer asking for help, how dare they. He pointed in a direction and "grunted all I got is over there" and was walking away before he finished his sentence. I saw three other customers get treated the exact same way and we all noted the rude employees were not helping other customers but just pricing & restocking. I have said something to the store manager and customer service before and they all agreed some employees could use better customer service skills. That was it. I highly recommend going to Lowes even if it is a farther drive or higher prices. I will be putting this review on Google review and emailing to corp. headquarters, I'm sure it won't make a difference, but hopefully someone who cares will see it. They Suck. read more

I on-line ordered a Kitchen Aid Glass mixing bowl for in-store pick-up. Got it and found out it would not work with our KA mixer, and that there was none that would. Took it back to the St. George UT store on Sunset Blvd. Kellen assisted me. She looked at the return, checked my invoices, entered / scanned some data, and I had my refund. It was only a few minutes. When we needed carpeting we went to Home Depot on Sunset and glad we did. Karma (it say's Good Karma on her apron) helped us fine the right solution for our situation. The installation was two weeks after the purchase and was included on the price we paid. Well, our expectations were more than surpassed by Tony. Tony called that morning to tell us he was on the way at the appointed time. Tony answered our questions, explaining the whole process in a professional manner. We will look forward to having Tony install any future carpeting needs. So, if it's carpeting you need go see Karma and ask for Tony to do the install. read more

This was my first visit to this particular Home Depot. I used to live on the other side of town and would shop at the other location. Anyway, I have a mixed review about the service I received while shopping this particular location. The lady at the front door cheerfully greeted me as I walked in... which was nice. I made my way back to the paint department... I needed some wood stain/sealer. I wasn't sure which kind would be best so I wanted to ask an associate. I couldn't find one so I called my dad and asked him. He told me which one and I grabbed it. I also needed some paint. I picked out the color I wanted. Trouble is, I needed someone to mix it. There was an associate passing by and asked if I needed help. They called on the walkie talkie and said someone would be over shortly. Yeah, right... 10 minutes later I was still waiting. I was half tempted to go back and mix it myself... Not too hard to get on the computer and select the brand of paint, interior, quart, satin, name of color, print the tag, get the right base paint, scan it, let it ad the tint, seal it & put it in the shaker... after all it looked like the exact system I used at my former job. After another associate asked me if I'd been helped and they too had called for someone, I was seriously tempted to do it myself! There were two other people in the paint area that were looking for help too. FINALLY, some people showed up. They said they work in other departments but could mix me some paint. I was finally on my way out. There were cashiers waiting to check people out... Which was fantastic because I was done waiting for people to help me!!! She was very sweet and had me out of there fast, which was great! There is definitely plenty of room for improvement! read more

I shop regularly at HD and I like the people but I will never to do special orders from them again. They have never come close to making the target date for a delivery. Each one, and I have done 4 or 5 now, is at least 1 - 2 weeks late. The latest order was for sun shades and it is now nearly 2 weeks past the delivery date. I've had to call them to find out what's going on. They never call me. read more

I bought a Tuff Shed on my Home Depot Credit Card. It was warrantied for 110 mph winds, and it fell apart in under 75mph wind. It stood 8 weeks and both Home Depot and Tuff Shed denied warranty. I recently visited this Home Depot and I could not believe how good the customer service was. I probably encountered 10 or 12 sales people as I roamed the aisles, all of whom asked if I was finding what I needed. Several personally escorted me to the different locations where my item was. Staff are always helpful and they are pretty consistent. Their prices can even sometimes beat Walmart with random things. I always head here for any repair or build I am performing and am usually not let down. read more
