I was assisted in what I thought was an impossible task. I having absolutely no knowledge of plumbing/gas lines etc. was sent in to ask for a part I could not describe or name. I was helped by one of the most knowledgeable associates I've ever spoke to at a big box store. Joshua in plumbing helped me, even though I only could provide a terrible description and a picture of a gas outlet. He was able to figure out the size and type of coupling/adapter thing I needed. He was so nice and thorough in asking what the issue was and looking at the parts I brought in. They worked just like he said. 10 out of 10 for Joshua. Thank you so much. read more

Apparently there was a fraudulent purchase made online with a gift card that was given to me for Christmas. Gift card was new when I tried to use it today. THEN, on another gift card, also new/unscratched did not have the pin #. The manager available helped out in the sense that he discounted the total amount of both cards of my purchase today. This never happens to me but the other day i went to purchase 3 doors for our new place. 2 security doors and a garage door. Went up to pay and the 2 security doors where 1 cent each normally 399. I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator from Homedepot on May 3rd was delivered to our home door were uneven, after a week the refrigerator stopped cooling. They sent a tech today and they told us the compressor is bad needs replacement. What kind a company are you guys we bought a new refrigerator not a used one that is not even working. Since day one we don't have a refrigerator and no one wants to do anything about it. I have kids and we already paid for the refrigerator and we don't have one and homedepot doesn't care. Worse company with poor costumer service and supervisors that don't care. Update: I reach out to the link sent to me, still no response from anyone and of course no refrigerator yet. read more

I've purchased online through this store for curb pickup. Some issues with communication and they don't seem to answer the phone. I've tried them several times and nobody picks up and no follow through. This is challenging as I use Home Depot all the time, definitely a store management issue and this one is not good on customer service. I know other Home Depot's tend to be good, far better than this location. read more

Horrible experience.. I've had issues with my chip card and it didn't go through. I forgot that I have to hold it in order to go through. But the lady that was helping me out on check out laughed at my face cause my card didn't go through. She told me to go to costumer service and they were nice my card went through and spoke to a manager.. not sure if they wrote her up or even talked to her ir fired her. They shouldn't allow people like that to work there or anywhere. She was so disrespectful. Thanks to the customer service for being kind. But I will never go to that store anymore. read more

Firstly, the phone service is terrible. Tried to talk with someone in flooring, got to everyone but flooring. Finally asked for a manager after 14 mins. Manager had to look for item herself but it was not available even though it states it is online. Very disappointed in this store. I will cover military discount next....geesh. So bought a few building items.. i.e. screws, drywall, pvc pipe, and 2x3 boards totalling over $70. Showed them my VET ID, got a whole $1.55 off.... I am a vet but I know math and that is not close to 10%. I appreciate a discount but just thought it was funny. Unless Home depot computers are taking on the traits of its users. read more

Got windows installed. I like that Home Depot sends status updates via email, so we didn't have to keep calling to check on status. Took about three hours to get windows installed. The workers were fast and cleaned up afterwards. Before they left, Home Depot spoke to us on the phone to make sure everything was good and that the area had been cleaned. Wanted to get the bathroom remodeled but can't get anyone from Home Depot to call. read more

If your looking for a Home Depot employee, don't come to this location. There are people wearing orange aprons, but they don't want to help you. They will tell you that's not their Dept and keep walking. It's insane! Plus not to mention half their store is out of stock. So straight to Lowe's I went, which is just down the street. Worst customer service of any diy store in San Antonio. There's very few workers and no one knows shit about any type of product in their own store. I asked one of the ladies at the counter if someone could help me load some Sheetrock in my truck and she told that I would first have to load what I needed in a cart and then she would call someone to help load the products. And then looked at me like "like what are you waiting for?" And then proceeded to talk with another associate of hers and complained about how over worked and tired she was. Where does Home Depot hire their people from, a random idiot box? This place sucks on the south side. read more

Great place to find paint, tools and be greeted with great customer service. It takes a lot to go out of your way to help people as you have a lot of customers but this place does it with charm. Always returning here to find great flowers and plants as well! When I lost my key they even had a key cutter for life's little emergencies. read more

The Home Depot is fully stocked as you would expect with any store you walk into. The aisles are clean, bright, and well organized. My main issue with Home Depot is that you can never find someone to help you. Most associates are zipping around in a hurry or busy with five people surrounding them. Also, the prices are higher than Lowes. I will always shop at Lowe's first and if I can't find what I'm looking for Home Depot will have it. I still shop here but only when I need to. Not to say the quality of the products isn't good. It's always been up to par in that department. read more

The customer service at Home Depot is terrible, FYI they charge you for an online order the minute it's placed, most stores don't charge you until the item ships or you pick up in store. I never received the item I ordered online because I provided a PO BOX for delivery instead of a physical address. When I called to cancel that order it took about an hour, the rep didn't believe that I never received the item. They are the worst!!! read more

I'm someone who's extremely understanding and helpful to anyone working during this pandemic. That being said, worst staff ever. Of all time. Ever. And taking over an hour to deliver a curbside order? They only brought part of it and my husband had to go into the store and load the rest. Why even offer curbside pickup? After a horrible online experience where I was given no other option but to have an item shipped to me and not the store itself, the item I ordered arrived in a smashed up box marked fragile with only 3 packing peanuts in it. The paint inside was leaking everywhere and after trying to figure a way to get it back to store without damaging my vehicle the lady at the register f this store couldn't figure out how to process a return for an online order......after calling literally every other employee in the store and them telling her they didn't know either (really?) I picked up the phone and called their customer service and asked her to walk them through the return...it took all of 15 seconds from that point. I was in the store for about an hour and a half.
