Cub Cadet ZT1 42 with Kohler 7000 engine

This Home Depot refuses to honor advertised price in store. We just moved to Southlake and would like to buy a zero turn lawn mower. The Cub Cadet ZT1 42 mower shown in the photo is advertised for $3299, but when my wife went to buy it, she were told it is $3599, the $3299 price is for the electric model. Please note that the 3299 price tag is placed on the gas model, not on an electric model which has blue strips on the seats. When my wife asked the Home Depot to honor the price they advertised in store, they brought a manager out and refused her request. He would only offer a $50 "inconvenience discount". (please note that Every employee working at Home Depot can offer anyone up to $50 discount without a manager's approval).

    Cracked window
    Jeff E.

I had three windows installed which took over two months to receive. On the day of the install they miss measured the depth of the one window so I had to pay extra for my contractor to remove the shutters completely from that window. All they told me was I had to have the doors removed total miss measure on there part. The install company left a mess, cigarettes broken glass and nails. They also left a cracked window which I'm still trying to get fixed. I have made several calls to several different numbers with no resolution. They also damaged the outside of my house with the install. I will never use them again and suggest that nobody else uses Home Depot for anything.

We purchased some marigolds and other flowers @ $1.98 each. As, I got to the register I didn't catch the band of the cashier who checked me out, nor was her name on the sales receipt, but we checked out at 1:39PM. As she began to count our plants I was trying to be helpful and tell her how many of what type of plant I had, and in a snarky attitude she remarked, "it doesn't matter the type of plants they are. They're all $1.98 each. I was taken aback by her poor attitude and I didn't help matters either when I reported, "I was just trying to be helpful". She continued being snarky and said, "you try to be nice with some people", I told her I just responded with the same attitude that you gave me. She apologized for her attitude. I too apologized, but it should have never ended like this. I will never therf again.

I was left standing and waiting for a manager approval while the only manager available, Barbara, was assisting another customer and simply stated, "It's going to be awhile." What is especially frustrating is that the manager approval for my return would have taken less than a minute. Why couldn't Barbara step away for 30 seconds to approve the return and then continue helping the other customer? Instead, customers are left standing around waiting for what should be a routine transaction. It's hard to understand why a large Lowe's location in one of the biggest metroplexes in the country would have only one manager available to handle customer issues and approvals. The employees on the floor shouldn't have to apologize for staffing decisions beyond their control, and customers shouldn't be stuck waiting indefinitely for routine transactions. Lowe's needs to do a better job scheduling adequate management coverage. Been waiting for 20 minutes and counting.... It must be embarrassing for a store to get a review while the customer is waiting. Up to 40 mins....

Learned the Justin Ace Hardware was the closest store that had this grill in stock. Great fairly close should be simple. It's been anything but simple. Originally, I was under the impression the grill would be delivered on Tuesday, May 26th but as the order processed the delivery changed to Thursday, May 28th. I received no communication from Ace with any updates so I called the Ace Justin location and learned my grill was ready and it would be delivered in a few hours (Thursday morning). I also learned though that the Weber Griddle wasn't ready as it was in route to be delivered the next day. I learned the Ace Rhome location had a griddle and asked if they could stop and get it and as it would prevent a trip the following day. Great everything is lining up perfectly. I asked the guy the condition of the grill and told him I was pretty picky. No scratches or dents and to inspect it closely. He assured me it looked great. The delivery guy arrived within just a few hours and I joined him on the truck to give the grill a go over. It was super noticeable that it had scratches on the stainless area near the knobs, directly in front. I grab some stainless cleaner to make sure and sure enough it was "damaged" and I simply explained to the delivery person I couldn't accept it. He indicated they had problems with the guy who does the assembly but that he was friends of the owner. I'm not sure how the scratches got there but knew I wasn't buying a Weber grill for $1,700 that was damaged. I ended up calling Andrew, a manager and explained the situation. The driver was on the phone with another manager who insisted the Entire order be returned. Andrew apologized and the driver left with all 3 items. The next day the credit had not been processed. I called and spoke again with Andrew the next day and he indicated I needed to cancel the order via their online platform in order to get the credit. Great, signed on with him and canceled the order. Received a notification that it would take 1-2 days to process the credit. What? Ok no worries. 2 days go by and I call their web team since I placed the order via Aces Website. The CSR called the store, confirmed it had been returned and explains it would take 7-10 days for a credit to post. It was at that very point I became upset and asked to speak to a manager. He indicated I would need to speak to the store management team. What? I requested that he call them and get them on the phone so I wasn't going back and forth. I waited on hold for approximately 15 minutes until someone at the store jumped on. I believe his name was Mike. He indicated the issue was with the griddle but he was taking care of it and I should see the credit post shortly. Nope. Here I am and it's the weekend and no credit had posted to my American Express. I've already purchased another Weber Grill from Lowe's and it will be delivered on June 6th. Fingers crossed. I went with the Weber stealth model to avoid the unnecessary scratches to the stainless steel even though I just had a new secondary refrigerator delivered and Lowe's did an amazing job. Every step was communicated and they were on time, professional and best part no scratches. I like to buy local. But it's times like this where you learn a lesson. ACE Justin...DO BETTER! All this was unnecessary....

Now we live in East Texas, four hours away from Mineral Wells. The gloves were "marked down" between $11-12.00 per pair. Which was a good price. When we checked out at the cash register, my wife paid for them and I had already walked outside so I assumed that she was watching the prices of the gloves and what was paid for them and then got her receipt. Well you know how assumptions go. She didn't get her receipt, nor did she pay attention to price that we were charged for the gloves. Unknown to us the one pair of gloves that we thought was on sale for $11-12.00 that was placed in the sale section area was actually over $39. Oh hell no.. So we called the store after verifying through our bank what the actual charge was to explain the situation to them. That the gloves were placed in the sale section and marked as being on sale. How far away that we live from them and if they would adjust the sale and credit our card back to our bank of the difference. NOPE, NOT HAPPENING. Okay, can I return the gloves and get my money back even though I've used them? Sure you can. So you're going to make me drive over eight hours to return gloves, that your company erroneously placed in the sale area instead of providing excellent customer service to a customer which it will cost me over $100 in gas, wear n tear on my vehicle to get my money back? That's your choice Sir. I'll see you in two weeks, print your copy of the (my) receipt out and put my name on it, so that there is not confusion because I'm making this trip to return both pairs of gloves. Thank you very much and have a lovely day. Another business that lost my business.

We ended up getting one fig tree and one plum tree. the people working there are very helpful and actually helped me save money. i was going to ask them to delivery and plant it at my house, but they told me that since the fruit trees i was buying were on the smaller side, i would simply just put it into my suv and save on the delivery fee. while planting was a pain in the ass, it didn't take too long to plant the two trees. They also recommended that i get some root growth liquid chemicals to help the trees grow. they typically have sales going on. For the fruit trees, it was buy one get another one 40% off. i'm not sure if other nurseries are offering sales, but it was a nice offer Mike was doing. Granted, i don't normally buy trees, i'm not sure if i overpaid for the fruit frees. I think the fig tree was 30 bucks and the plum tree for 40 bucks. Mike garden has a decent selection. they have items that are in the greenhouse along with a lot of other items outside. they also sell garden decorations as well.
