    Shopping for a teapot lol

    The service is just ok here, there was one worker who was able to direct us to the correct aisle to look for a teapot. There weren't many selections available. Actually only one kettle version was available and the value was not good for $80.00. We didn't get it but we did get some toilet seats that were overpriced as well but we're really needed and a mop. Wanted to get a dust pan too but they were too high up and no one was around to assist. I even mentioned it at the cashier station and no one seemed to care so I will purchase that item somewhere else.

    Super large Home Depot with a lot of garden space, lots of appliances, a pro entry, small return area, pickup, and a project center. Lines were very long for the cashier as they tried social distancing. That causes more bunching. Still have all the basics but a lot of tool sets and discounted items are sold out. In store and curbside pickup are available.

    Walked right in and found the ceiling fan i was looking for very quickly. Self checkout was very quick. Huge fan of the Depot! I will be back!

    I ordered some items for in store pick up and it lead to a couple weeks minor annoyances which lead me to my moreso 2 and 1/2 star review. When I ordered for in store delivery/pick up I got a text message stating that part of the order was ready, it was two items that I'd ordered so I decided to wait until I recieved additional messages letting me know both were ready. Sure enough I get several messages stating that my order was ready so I assume its ready completely I go over and sure enough only part of it is ready. Maybe its my fault for not calling and confirming the order was ready in its entirety by why send me so many text messages? So I let a week go by and I more messages and this time i call and can confirm the other part is ready, great. I go over and I'm not sure what's up with the girl at customer service first it takes a minute for her to acknowledge me, then she yelling down the store for her co worker for something unrelated to my order without excusing herself. But then she is pleasant and after a few minutes she goes to retrieve it. All is well until I look at the package and I see what looks like a big glob of saliva on it. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and assume they had a leaky stock room but it looked pretty good to me as you can see into it. I dunno but the whole experience left kind of a bad taste. I am sure I will come back though at which point maybe the experience will be better.

    The poor customer review scores on here make total sense. I only stopped at this Home Depot because it was close to a Target where I ordered something online for pickup. All I needed were copies of keys for my new apartment and screws to hang curtains. I find the screws aisle and the first employee I see, before I even open my mouth, tells me they don't work in that department. OK thanks. She did offer to find someone after a minute or so of me struggling to find what I was looking for, but she couldn't find anyone after several minutes. So I get my keys copied from the machine by the entrance. I made 2 copies of the same key -- ALL were brass and $2.98. I went through self checkout and all 1 of the brass keys rang up at $3.98. The self checkout attendant called over the manager and she examined the keys and told me that the barcode on one is different, makes sense. It said it was a painted key, when it was clearly brass. I thought at this point she would override the charge but she insisted there was nothing she could do it was obviously correct (as if machines and the people who replenish the key supply of said machine can't make a mistake)? I gently pushed back saying that doesn't make sense, they're clearly the same key but she was not budging so I went ahead and purchased the keys, but needed her to void a few since she had rescanned them to see what the issue was. She was so condescending when it came to removing the extra keys and acted like I created this massive inconvenience (trust me, ma'am, I didn't ask for this). She proceeded to shout to everyone in the self checkout area how this is her last day for 2 weeks as she's getting on a plane tomorrow and going on vacation. So clearly she was checked out and I was caught in the crossfire of her bad attitude. I know we're only talking $1.00 here, but it's the principle of the thing. Good news is I took it to another Home Depot and they saw it was clearly an error and they rectified the situation. Including a picture of the keys below for reference.

    Love love this HD. Feels like a sister store from many moons ago. They are aiming for the professional decorator, interior designer, home analyst, stagers, of the world or at least in Jersey. I walked around in AWE. I loved everything from the classy new hanging light fixtures to the knobs and of course the service. Every where we turned someone asked us if we need anything or looking for something. Service is the key!! AMAZING!!! My family says I say that every Time I'm there. I never want to leave. Cost nothing to look around and gets me inspired to update our home. Love Super stores!!

    Does anyone work here? Went to buy lighting and tiles for a store renovation. Employees don't respond to pages for help in the aisles. Everyone is on break, no employees in the aisles to help. For the employees that are walking around no one knows anything and doesn't want to help. What's going on with this store? Off to somewhere else.

    Past experiences at home Depot drive me crazy. There's a few awesome associates who work at this store ( VAUXHALL UNION NJ) Vaughn in Building material helped me with a crazy project I am doing & I tremendously appreciate all the help. This gentleman when above and beyond in my opinion. It's relieving in my opinion to have a corporation such as home Depot to continue to hire such knowledgable employees. I will not shop for my own personal needs or business needs at any other store because of my experience. Appreciate it

The gentle man that I was speaking with on the phone said it sounded like the microwave door latches needed to be replaced. When the technician Joe showed up at my house the next day he stunk like a cigarette. He preceded to take pictures of the serial number on the appliance. In conversation I told him that the same Kitchen Aid microwave that I have is currently 499.00 dollars at Lowes . He then told me with out doing any diagnoses that the repair was going to be 450.00 dollars so I was better off just buying a new microwave. He also said nowadays the microwaves that they manufacture are throwaways and that when they go bad you throw them out and replace them with a new one. Now if that is the case why didn't the gentleman on the phone when I called them explain that to me. It seems to me they just wanted the 121.00 dollar service call fee that I paid them. Ironically I looked up on line the prices of the switches and they were 24.99 each. I also took apart the control panel and cleaned the switches and now the microwave door switches work fine. I also wanted to add that we used Georges appliance repair in the past and we had no issues. So we were not a first time customer. When I called Georges after I fixed the latches I got nothing but a lot of crap from the gentleman that I spoke to on the phone.

    Well, this was one of the most unreal experiences I have ever had with any service provider in the…read morearea. I made an appointment about a week in advance. I was provided a 3-hour window for a technician to come to my home to look at 4 appliances that need repair (stove, oven...both 10 years old, range vent hood, wine cooler). Not a small amount of potential business. I was told I had to pay $110 in advance for the visit. If I chose to have them complete any required repairs they would put the $110 against the final bill, which I felt was reasonable. Today I waited patiently but no one showed up or called, and at 25 minutes after the END of the 3-hour window I called to see what was going on. It took me 5 tries to get a human being (first four times I got an answering machine). They told me they would call me back after they researched what was going on. 20 minutes later they said the technician's assistant never showed up and that they could not complete the call of 4 appliances without two technicians and would need to reschedule. Ironically, during all this I got a notification from my bank that they had charged me the $110. Three things: 1) Had I not called, I might have been waiting the whole day. So terrible communication. 2) That the technician did not call me first thing in the morning and tell me that he could not complete the call due to being stood up by his assistant is at best a disorganized oversight, and at worst selfish and awful customer service. 3) That they charged me for a call that was never made told me this operation is not very professional. I canceled the service call and am going with another company. I am a small business owner so I have control of my schedule. But I lost a half day.
