A very large Home Depot. Everything you could want and more. Only bad thing is the 4 self check kiosks for that large store. What were you thinking Mr. Home Depot. You need to double that. I have been working with Brandon Arnold, General Manager, on a project and have found him to be helpful, resourceful and efficient. The staff Rick, William Miranda, were also very responsive and if they couldn't answer my question they were sure to follow up. Went to customer service and was told gates not open because it was too cold(56 degree) but said they would send someone to assist. 20 minutes later still no help. I have never encountered in my entire 75 years a worse business with which to deal. minus 10 stars. I did a remodeling project using H.D. and spent about $25,000 there this year. Everyone is incompetent and uncaring about you or your business. I had several windows delivered and 5 came without screens. That was in February of '23. After hours of talking to numerous people including the manager, Brandon, I still don't have all of my screens. 3 times I drove the 80 miles round trip to get them and they were the wrong screens each time except the last time 2 of them were correct. I had to go measure them myself to even get that. I just got notice of the 4th screen arrival and was told to come and get them. They actually want me to drive the 80 miles round trip again on the probability that they are wrong again. This is in spite of the manager saying he would deliver them himself. Also, one of the window's spring balances fell out the first time I opened it. This was in March. I spent much time filing out a warranty request with the manufacturer. One month late I got a response. At first I was told that they had no one to fix my window available. Then they told me the windows had NO WARRANTY. Unbelievable. Then I started calling people with H.D. Many calls speaking to several people and hours of my time, I was finally told that if I could find someone to fix it, they would reimburse me up to $200. I can't find anyone to fix this particular brand of window. So I'm stuck with a non-functioning window. They sent me a video on how to fix. Very complicated. If I tried to fix it and and messed it up, then I would be on my own as if I'm not already. Stay away from H.D. at all costs. read more

This particular store had a sign for their black mulch on sale 4 bags for $10. My husband and I came to this store, loaded to mulch onto our cart, and proceeded to check out. The cashier told us the sale was over and would not honor the price or ask for a manager to help with the issue, even there there was a very large sign in front of the pallet of mulch that advertised 4 bags for $10. Very inconvenient and we would have gone to Lowe's had we known. read more

Years ago Home Depot hired only people with experience in the fields in which they were hired. Customer service was priority one, not so now days. This Home Depot does have several people in a couple of departments that you can count on. I do wish I could recall their names. I know two men in the plumbing department, that you can rely on. Then one lady in Gardening is very helpful. On my next visit I will gather the names and write a new review. Seems Home Depot has cut back on employees and several departments have no one available. I know you can never find anyone when it comes to flooring, home décor, kitchen design hardware and electrical. However, the men I spoke of earlier will come to your ad in electrical. One other thing. I have recently shopped Home Depot for kitchen drawer sliders, in which they no longer carry. Drives me nuts. My next visit is for roller shades, in which I am sure will need to be cut. The problem is no one seems to work that department, and no one else in the store has the knowledge to run the machine. If they would just give me the code I would do it myself. LOL read more

Horrible! Ordered shower doors and called twice asking if they were boxed so they would fit in a bed of a pickup that had a shell on it. Both times the employee said they would call me back with the shipping size. After wAiting 2 hours after each call, I finally just took my small trailer there for the 70 minute drive. Waited for 45 minutes for them to find the order then finally talked to the manager who found it in 10 minutes. Loaded up and left. Ten minutes down the road, I received a call saying I (that's right I) "forgot" that handles and come back and get them which I did. If I never go there again, it will be too soon. read more

Horrible. I don't even want to give this place a one star. Absolutely the worst customer service and manager I have ever run into. I bought flooring online. Home Depot sends me an email and text message saying my material is ready for pick up at customer service. When I go to pick it up they only put one box at customer service. So they end up selling all my flooring to someone else that I already paid for. Then the manager wants to ask me what he is supposed to do about it. Went to this store to purchase some vinyl flooring. We couldn't locate the flooring in the store and couldn't find anyone to help. We finally saw a man on a forklift nearby and got his attention. He was irritated that he had to stop from his stocking duties to help a pesky customer. He pointed to where we could find the tile and said he would be over when he got done moving pallets and stocking. We did find the tile but couldn't help but notice that the forklift operator was barely working and was more concerned with entertaining his coworker with jokes and stupid voices. After we selected the tile we still needed help finding more items and noticed the worker was done with the forklift, He looked our way but quickly walked away for some reason. ????? terrible store and terrible employees that rather do anything else but help a customer. read more

i think that the home depot in victoria is the worst. there customer service don't know how to treat customers, they are not friendly and don't know what they are doing. i made a purchase and had to make three trips to try to get the order right , finally i got the manger to approve delivery no charge, they told me to leave the item my the curb and they will pick it up and leave my item there by the curbe for me to pick up, then a minute later the manager said they would not deliver but they would give me a discount on the item if we would come back to the store and finish the sale , we did and they would not honor the discount that the morning manager said he would give me, the manager that was on duty in the afternoon was very rude he never spoke to us or did not ever say he was sorry for our inconvience, he did call the morning manager and he said he did tell us we would get the discount , so after being at the store for 3 1/2 hrs. we got the discount we were promised and left and vowed never to go back, worst customer service i have ever encountered. they need quilified people, it is horrible. read more
