So I'm from Pittsburgh PA, and I'm in love with our customer service at Home Depot. I always get the best service and they greet you at the door, well here in Reading, I want to say the service isn't like ours...till I met this awesome sales person. I walked in, nothing they just looked at me. I walked to the back and that awesome salesman came up to me and was like"welcome to Home Depot"! I was shocked and said thanks, then as I'm looking for a tub, no sales associate was around or keep walking when I did try to get them, here comes the salesman that greeted me, he helped me and went out of his way to get what I needed! I love great customer service and Home Depot really strives for excellent service! So if they don't greet you when you walk in, say something cause, Home Depot doesn't play that, they have set it up to be friendly, kind, happy to help and service with a smile!!!!

Check this out. Home Depot said this isn't their responsibility.

Geek Squad service was great. They were punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and left things the way they were when they came in. Chris in Computing was extremely patient with me through my purchase and got me into what I needed. The laptop turned out to be defective, which was no fault of his. I made one trip back to see him. The issue was addressed, but as it turned out...the laptop continued to give me problems. I returned to him a second time in a week and he saw to it that a proper exchange was made and that the new laptop was set and ready to go when I left. Frustrated, I decided to install the dishwasher myself. The rear leveling leg was missing. We returned the Samsung and decided to get a Bosch. The store was very nice about the exchange but failed to make arrangements to have the Bosch installed. After weeks we finally had the Bosch installed January 7. The new dishwasher is already broken. Every year we purchase the Best Buy protection plan, so I was sure Best Buy would take care of everything. A call to the store got us an AI generated response that we would need to contact Bosch ourselves. Bosch gave us the number of a repair company with a three-star rating, so at this point we're hoping they can repair our dishwasher. We've been faithfully buying our appliances from Best Buy because of the buyer protection plan. I should have read the fine print. I won't be renewing my protection plan or buying appliances from Best Buy in the future.

When you have an…read moreadditional 4 people in your household AND apparently the country is in the midst of an appliance shortage. Welcome to my life a few months back...... Washer died, like completely. There was no way of resurrecting this thing. I admit as I was (kinda) happy to see it go. While it was less than a decade old it had this reoccurring issue draining that even stumped the repairman. Time of death could have been more convenient though. I had no idea there was an appliance shortage. None, nada. I didn't even know that was a "thing" or a possibility. Before I went to any physical store I shopped online, which is where it first became evident that this might be a bigger problem than I thought. It was end of Nov, early December and Lowes and Home Depot had estimated availability for mid March - pick up or delivery. This just can't be. Then I remembered my coworker telling me about a scratch and dent store in Lancaster where he had gotten an appliance. Normally that's not the route I would take but I was desperate. K & A was located near the ReStore in Greenfield. It was a little hard to find, and parking could have been better but walking in I was impressed. Inventory was vast and not just for washers. They had a huge warehouse of every kind of appliance you could need available cash and carry that day or via a (scheduled) delivery. It was a bit overwhelming. I knew what kind of features I wanted and pretty much was looking for something with no bells and whistles. Washers have come a long way and I was surprised by all the technology driven features they now have. While they did have some basic, plain Jane models, they were few and far between and in a much smaller drum capacity than fit my needs. A salesgirl came over several times to assist me but really didn't offer much as far as information other than specific to the store (their warranty, delivery, etc ). If I asked her something about a particular model she read the information sheet, which I could do so she was pretty much useless. I did find the process of making a final selection difficult, comparing the different models and features. I probably spend more time than most as I was googling reviews and bullet point features on the models I had narrowed it down to. It would have been nice is that work was done already and featured somewhere on the washer in greater detail than what they provided. Also keeping track of which ones I was considering took clever thinking. I folded the corner of the price so I knew since many look the same. Bring a colored post it or something to keep track. I finally settled on one I liked and at the last minute before going to the register asked for it to be pulled out so I could inspect all the sides/back. (Remember this is scratch and dent). I'm so glad I did as this unit had a back that was pulling apart from a huge dent and the possibility of it leaking was probably above average. I was able to find the same unit but with only a small scratch for the exact same price. I do think pricing should reflect the damage but felt it doesn't. Overall I was happy with the process and hubby came back later in the day to get it. You pay first and must show receipt at pick up but I believe they'll hold it for 48 hours (paid). The warranty is factory OR one year/parts and labor through them. It's one or the other. Overall for the unit I bought I saved about $400 and no one would even know it was scratch and dent if I didn't tell them. I would shop here again next time an appliance fails even without an appliance shortage.

I was told everything was tested and working before it was put on the floor. Got it home and immediately had an error code. I have to go through the manufacture to get it fixed. I saved $200 over buying brand new at Lowe's. If you use your Lowe's card to purchase an appliance and anything is wrong they will replace it right away with a new one. The tiny bit of savings from K&A is NOT worth the risk.
