During…read moremy session, I observed several behaviors that I found unprofessional and potentially harmful. Mrs. Masterson used her position to preach to me regarding her stance on the topic of homosexuality which she knew we disagreed with before ever meeting me. Although she knew this was a sensitive issue for me, she chose to take me as a client. She charged me for the session and then proceeded to berate me and my family. As a result of this experience, I terminated my sessions with Mrs. Masterson. I had one of my children tested for 504/special ed when he was in 1st grade and she was great with him. Later, when my 11-year-old needed testing and she was on medical leave, I waited through an extended medical leave, just so I could have my child with someone I trust. Katy ISD told me they would pay for someone else, but I chose to wait it out. She is back in the office now, so waiting isn't necessary, BUT, SHE IS WORTH ANY WAIT. She and her staff work hard to meet their patient's schedules and needs and always do what is best for the child. She is calm, easy to understand, and both my children liked her. I definitely recommend Dr. Villesca and Katy Psychological Services.
