We were able to communicate with Melissa, the owner and coordinator throughout the entire year leading up to the wedding day, and felt relaxed the day of the wedding!!! That in itself is invaluable! I was just recently going through photos of the wedding & realized how truly gorgeous the reception was. I had to drop a few lines to give more kudos to Melissa C. (Owner) & Kyle O., florist at Donovan's Dish. Although the weather was very upsetting & I couldn't get married in her gorgeous rose garden, the reception area was breathtaking thanks to them. It looked like something from a fairy tale. Before seeing it all come together, I was often flustered & stressed from planning it all & let a few things slip. I forgot to do a few things like print a photo for the card box - Melissa was there to take care of it; we were late & were bringing some of the decor, so it was late - Melissa took care of it. I didn't want to have to make anymore decisions the day of so - Melissa & a family friend coordinated everything. So, I felt like I needed to leave just a bit more for any future brides. I was a stress ball & throughout the whole day I must say Melissa really came through. I can only imagine how stressful it must be to host a big lavish wedding, so her carrying the burden of my stress & her own was very appreciated!!! They did an amazing job on my daughters wedding October 16, 2021. Melissa's attention to detail made everything beautiful and the day could not have ran more smoothly. Spectacular! We have received a ton of feedback from our guests at how enjoyable and gorgeous everything was and the food especially was amazing. The all-inclusive feature really makes for stress free planning, my only regret is that it went so fast! My daughter and now son-in-law's first choice was to have an outdoor wedding, however a storm blew in for an hour right at ceremony time so we had to move into their lovely chapel on-site and honestly, it was just as beautiful. Whether you are looking for a venue for an outdoor wedding or indoor wedding The Hudson Manor can accommodate both. From the beginning, Melissa was so helpful in helping my mom and I plan everything from the DJ and flowers to the food selections and table linens. The night of the ceremony we didn't have to worry about a thing because Melissa was making sure everything ran smoothly. The venue is beautiful with 3 locations to pick from for your ceremony and an elegant and beautiful reception hall. The food was delicious, the staff was helpful, and the service we received from Melissa was phenomenal. I fell in love with this beautiful, versatile venue from the moment I arrived. I was impressed by Melissa's experience, the ease of working with Melissa, the wonderfully delicious food and especially the versatility of the site. Regardless of what Mother Nature was going to through at us, we were going to be covered (literally) at the Hudson Manor. Melissa was prepared to run with the ball and give us a wonderful ceremony and reception. However, our Chaplain and I wanted a specific format for the wedding itself and Melissa stepped back and let us do exactly what we wanted. For the reception, we were thrilled to let Melissa coordinate it all. She knew what things we wanted to do and executed it flawlessly! My husband and I were thrilled that she gave us exactly what we wanted and it went as smooth as silk. Beautiful venue!!! We had our daughters wedding at Hudson Manor on 8/18/18. They are experts in event planning and guided us easily through the planning process. The have both outdoor and indoor ceremony locations and a beautiful house w/ rooms for bride and groom to use, as well as a very nice reception building. Their food was very good and plentiful and they provide recommendations of key vendors. All of the vendors we used did a great job! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding in The Raleigh area- it is about 30 Miles north of the city, however, it's an easy drive and well worth it!!! read more

I was really looking forward to experiencing the Hudson Manor because I had heard other people say that they had been to a wedding there and it was beautiful.... However, it was a beautiful place to have a wedding, but the staff was not nice. They weren't even cordial. Even though, it was a 5:00 wedding - it was hot and when we went inside for the reception - the hundred people invited to the wedding had to get their own water and tea and people were bumping into each other and of course, it didn't take long for the water and tea to give out and then, it took a long while for the staff to replenish after being told they were out of ice, water, and tea. Then, the people started bumping into each other once again to go back and "serve themselves!" Come on people, when there's a sit down dinner and for the price of the buffet - you should hire enough staff to wait on the your customers. The same thing with the cake - people had to get up and get their cake and everyone was bumping into each other. It was too small for all this do it yourself business. I, myself was embarrassed because we had a North Carolina State Representative there at the wedding and I expected it to be managed a little better than it was. Melissa and Glenn Cogliati made my daughter's wedding reception a five star event. I can't even fathom what we would have done without Melissa's assistance in suggesting the most fabulous vendors for my daughter's day. From photographer to DJ to florist and beyond everyone was a true professional. Hudson Manor is such a beautiful setting and a great place to get amazing photos. Glenn is a master chef and everything tasted fabulous. Melissa is totally organized and makes the reception flow with ease. As a mother of the bride, I didn't have to worry about a thing that day knowing Melissa would be overseeing the event. I cannot give enough praise to Melissa, Glenn and their staff for delivering above and beyond what was promised to us.
