Spay Neuter line to make an appointment at 9 AM. This is the Arrowhead Ave gate entrance I recommend waiting at if you're in a car.
    Abagail L.

Please read before you try making a spay neuter appointment! Once you know what to expect it's not as stressful! I've trusted them for spaying all my pets and even my sister's! It's been a total of 2 spays and 3 neuters for both dogs and cats. The good thing is once you have your appointment everything else is easy! They book their spay/ neuter appointments only on the first Monday of the month. Their appointments are for a month out and surgeries are for M-F. The fee for surgery does not include anything else. Pain meds, IV fluids, collar, and post surgery sedatives are all optional for ~$10 each. When you book the surgery they require a $50 deposit for dogs. They require up to date vaccines for DA2PP and Rabies. If your pet isn't fully vaccinated they will vaccinate day of surgery for an additional ~$30 fee. They do not accept past vaccine records that are stickers or booklets, they will have to vaccinate again day of surgery. They need to see a paper invoice from a licensed vet facility. If you've gotten all your shots done here they will pull up your account through your phone number. If you have gotten them elsewhere I recommend having a folder of them to bring day of so you don't forget them at home! They do nail trims under surgery for free! Microchipping is $32 and I also recommend trying to remove any extra teeth or toes while being spayed! They will for an additional fee but just remind the vet tech before they take your baby back! They only book appointments the first Monday of the month in person or over the phone. If you can, take the day off and have more than one person trying to book the same appointment. Bring coffee, waters, a chair, a portable charger if you might need it, and an umbrella if it's sunny. Do what you can to get comfortable because it'll take most of the morning! I recommend staying in line and calling at the same time. They open the gates at 7:30 AM but don't open up for business until 8:30 AM. I've arrived at 6:30 AM to already see a line! The Humane Society parking lot fills up fast and the line for appointments will wrap around the parking lot! They have people coming in for regular vet appointments also! If you want to wait in your car before the gate opens you have to be on Arrowhead Ave to not block traffic. I would get there early, park at Bowlero, and stand/ sit in line at the gates. If you stand at the gate on Orange Show just know both gates open up at the same time! I've waited on one side just to be beat by people from the other side! Once they finally do open up everyone will race towards the Cat Entrance to get in line. They will have a sign on which side to go to for making the spay and neuter appointment! One line is for dog surgery check in, one for cat surgery check in, and the longest will be for making the appointment. They start taking calls close to 8:30 but if there is too many callers your call will drop or just repeat the same message. You are not in the queue unless you hear the health warnings about animal poisonings. If at any point you hear a message on entering an extension or going to the company directory that means your call is not in the queue and I suggest hanging up. I have gone early and waited in line just to be seen first over the phone. But just in case you can't get into the queue stay in line! They let groups of 5 people in at a time. They are doing surgery check ins at the same time so they don't tend to let people in until most of those are done around 8:30-8:45. The fastest I've made an appointment has been 3 hours! It's easiest if you already have an account with them but if not it only takes 5 minutes for them to create one for you.

Review for Rialto Animal Hospital…read more I can't speak highly enough about my experience at Rialto Animal Hospital! From the moment I stepped in, it was clear that they prioritize not just the health of the pets but also the well-being of their families. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel at ease right away. Dr. Guirges is absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain every detail regarding my dog, Juno, who is a 4-year-old husky mix with a torn CCL. Her clarity and thoroughness made a potentially stressful situation much easier to handle. You can really tell that she cares about what's best for the animals in her care. The vet tech, Rebecca and Manager, Genevieve were equally as helpful answering my many questions and concerns in person, via phone calls and emails. They were very professional and did an outstanding job keeping me in the loop on Juno's care. The follow-up was impressive as well. They got back to me quickly with a surgery date for Juno, which I greatly appreciated. It's evident that the team at Rialto Animal Hospital is committed to providing top-notch care and support. If you're looking for a place where both pets and their families are treated with kindness and respect, Rialto Animal Hospital is the place to go!

We called prior to coming in, They told us on the phone that we could bring her in the back and say goodbye before leaving her. We arrived, checked in and was told to choose an urn, then they told us that we may just have to "get whatever we get" and that our selection may not be available after telling us to choose any of about 12 on a page. They then told us that we had to bring our dog into the front door because she had to be put on the scale that is in the lobby. our dog is dead at this point. I mentioned that on the phone we were told we could bring her in the back, so the receptionist went to the back to "see what she could do" then came back to tell me there was no other way around it we had to bring her in the front door. So my brother had to carry our deceased dog past probably 25 people and all of their dogs we get into the door and they make us walk her past the said scale in the lobby to a back room where a different receptionist apologized for us walking our very large very deceased dog past a large group of people. Our Pua didn't get the final trip she deserved and had to be walked by a bunch of living pups and parents who also got traumatized this day. I personally work in the dog grooming industry with a back ground in animal hospitals & i will tell my community forever about how disrespectful this hospital is. there are other affordable options near by. mind you this was 2 years ago and i don't leave bad reviews. i've sat with this a while and i know these guys could do a better job than they're doing if they truly worked from the heart.

Most recently, I brought my cat in for an eye issue and was quoted over $600 for an exam, sedation, tests, and medication. The price immediately felt extremely high, especially for an eye infection, so I decided to call another veterinary clinic to compare. The other clinic examined both of my cat's eyes, and the total cost came out to under $120 including medication. They also determined that sedation was not necessary at all. My cat was calm, friendly, and even purring during the exam, which made me question why sedation was being pushed so strongly at the first clinic. This clinic does not allow pet owners to accompany their animals due to "safety protocols," so it left me wondering how my cat was being handled during the visit. Another frustrating part of the experience is that you don't actually speak directly with the doctor. All communication goes through the technician, who goes back and forth between you and the doctor. As a pet owner, I would much rather speak directly with the veterinarian responsible for my pet's care, instead of receiving information through a middle person. At the other clinic, the doctor was with me during the entire exam, explaining everything step by step, which felt much more transparent and reassuring. What also shocked me was that they mentioned charging a fee for each CPR attempt in case of an emergency. As a worried pet owner, hearing about additional charges like that felt extremely discouraging and overwhelming. Isn't the priority supposed to be protecting the life of the animal under their care? This unfortunately isn't my first bad experience here. During a previous visit, my cat needed a cast. After the procedure, she was still sedated and very sleepy, and the cast fell off immediately after we got home. She had barely moved, so it clearly wasn't my fault or my cat's fault. I called the clinic hoping they would fix it since it appeared to be an issue with how the cast was applied, but they charged me again to redo it. At the time I didn't push for a refund because my cat's wellbeing came first. Looking back now after this second experience, I truly feel I deserve a refund for that cast, since the issue was not caused by anything I did or by my cat. I do want to say that the front desk staff have always been kind and supportive, and I appreciate them. However, overall my experiences with this clinic have been very disappointing. I care deeply about my cat and want a veterinary office that is honest, transparent, and focused on the animal's wellbeing, not adding unnecessary services that dramatically increase the bill. There are other veterinary clinics in the area that provide great care without making pet owners feel this way. I strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before committing to treatment here.
