Driving through Forks on the way out to the beach, we stopped for breakfast. We ordered eggs, hash browns, biscuits, bacon and the bacon waffle. Everything was delicious, especially the cool waffle shaped with bubbles instead of divots. Delicious! Bacon was thick and chewy and our super friendly server asked how I'd like the bacon prepared. the server was so rude it was an older lady she slammed the plates down, had an attitude, the food was cold and undercooked, all 4 of us were not thrilled. then she complained about the amount of tips and disrespected us. the customers next to us met us in the parking lot and asked if our food was as bad as theirs because they had a bad experience. 4 other people overheard this conversation and decided to turn away and get food elsewhere. advice to the server: tips are earned, attitude matters, don't act like you hate your job and customers. also cook the food thoroughly. no one wants half frozen hash rows and undercooked scrambled eggs with yolk still coming out of them. also they didn't have any fresh fruit and the apple juice tasted carbonated. -10000 read more

My partner and I stopped here and we were too early for the lunch menu but heck, I can eat an egg anytime, anywhere. I ordered the Meat Lovers Skillet and he ordered the Western Skillet and both were delicious! The country potatoes that came with the skillets were perfect, nice and crispy, and my partners loved that the veggies in his skillet weren't overdone and that they went light on the cheese. This was a very classic small town diner in Forks, which is what we expected. Our waitress was super friendly and sat down with us while she took our order. There are not many places to eat out in Forks, so that makes it easy to decide where to go. This is a fairly nice restaurant right in the middle of town, and it was very busy the day I was there. I arrived for lunch about 11:30 am, which is early but most places will start serving lunch by then. Unfortunately, I was told they don't start serving lunch until 12:00 noon. So I decided to make this my second breakfast and ordered french toast. It was actually quite nice, and I paid extra to have it topped with strawberries. They were not fresh, probably frozen, but that was okay. The service was fine, the food was tasty and I enjoyed my lunch at this stop. read more

First day we came we had a tall male server who was very kind and attentive. However second day we came back survice was terrible. The rude older lady working up front with blonde hair literally put the water pitcher on the table and never came back. We asked to have the checks split and she told us no very rudely like it was the biggest inconvenience. The In Place was a pleasant and fantastic surprise. We were in town for hiking the ONP and found this place when we realized other spots in town don't serve wine with dinner. Yes, I'm that woman . Anyway, I ordered the blackened sea bass special and it was cooked to perfection, as were my husband's fish and chips. Our server was so attentive as well. To make this place even more a gem, she offered dessert. No written menu, just her word for it. I got a slice of pie with huckleberries, apples, raspberries, and rhubarb with delish ice cream. It was one of those pie slices where you just know much butter was killed in its creation and it was absolutely divine. Don't hesitate to get a meal here! 12/10 for taste and service . read more
