A gorgeous pub in Bensberg. I cannot really comment on the food here as we only went here for a drink. Designed after a classic Irish pub, it looks great and has a lovely ambience and good service. They serve Guinness, Kilkenny and Strongbow Cider Vom fass. Surprisingly almost all the people in the pub were drinking Kölsch instead ;-)) slightly odd in an irish pub but then again, we are near Köln after all ;-)) The place was busy and lots of people were ordering food and so on. Two young women looking for a drink in down town Bensberg on a Friday eveningmaybe we didnt know where to lookbut this place was not exactly 'going off' although half the place was reserved and we were expecting to find a bit moreit is an irish pub!!?? But never the less it was nice to just sit down and have a beer. There were pool tables and lets face it the beer was pretty good. The staff took a while to serve us, but then again Im getting used to that in Germany! I guess at the end of the day it is bensberg.not Köln. But we will go there again after work every now and then for a quiet beer, maybe it gets better in summer read more

Yesterday in the evening I had nothing to do. I went to the Irish pub in Bensberg because some friends motivated me, nevertheless, on top of that. I go for normal manner to right clubs, however, this location was still known to me from former times, and I dealt anyhow nothing else. I met there unexpectedly really many friends whom I had not seen long and with which I took care long since of an appointment. I tore the respective conversation contents to myself about which was just talked, and was quick in the determined conversation with old friends. Their friends were still present, but were long ignored by myself half the evening, just as those friends with whom I had come. In the Irish pub nothing has changed, one hits still many nice people, one can play billiards and the matches sometimes go out undecided, according to a dung. Even though only 4 stars, because I can say nothing according to the toilets , because I have not visited them. Who knows as usual the assessment would fall out. read more
