Just got scammed by KB Booting Services at the Key Colony Plaza shopping center. When I came out the representative from KB Booting Services said I was illegally parked regardless of what the sign said because I needed a permit. He said it was under the orders of the property manager. I called the KB Police and they completely understood and tried talking to the boot guy, but he said he could not do anything about it. The owner of Origins also tried talking to him and had to pay the fee. It was a total scam. I am a local resident and have never seen this in the Key. Beware when you park in this parking lot. They are also quick to let you know the sizing as in true to size vs running big and/or small. While I was in there a woman was looking for something for her daughter who happened to be out of the country. The sales lady got on the phone with the daughter and was willing to put dresses on hold for her even though she wouldn't even be in town for a couple of days. Now that's service. Best part might be the endearing sales lady who reminded me of the quintessential, classy, socialite grandmother who would hand you her pearls, a broach, or the perfect dress for a garden party.
